About DK: Zen
DigitalKarma: Zen is now upgraded to the latest Sprint base 1.31.651.2. Not content with staying the same, Version RLS2 switches things up by ditching the red theme and goes back to the more crowd-pleasing blue. The Zen theme has been refined with better use of transparencies, darker greys, more glows and thin Roboto to top it off for truly stylized rom. Zen Sense framework is 99% completely inverted now with a few inverted bonuses for Talk and latest Google Play v4.3.11. I've also doubled the wallpaper count with select Jellybean and Classic Sense 4.0+ wallpapers and added a couple of new live walls featuring Aurora from the Galaxy Note and XperiaZ's vibrant Color Flow.
DigitalKarma: Zen is assembled using the best blend of modifications available from the One community that make sense to include. RLS2 reshuffles the deck with some new additions replacing the old: including 4x5 rosie so you can have more space on your homescreen. Sense widgets have been upscaled accordingly to fit the new layout. Volume Wake has been replaced with Volume Skip track. Also new to this rom is a mod to turn off Unknown Sources by default along with autobrightness and haptic feedback for the user's convenience.

Yeah there are quite a few OG users here. Even some that were before our time in the OG forums. Just like the ol' days, except with a quad core snapdragon beast of a device

Was thinking of making a run here lol. You mentioning Unchained and how much you enjoyed it may just motivate me to... but if I do it would be AOSP and I would wait until the official 4.2.2 source drops. And I finally got my OG back last night. Gonna drop a final version of Unchained for those still on the OG by this weekend. Already got it half way where I want it with some sweet additions.
In regards to DK One, so far so good. Running with the ElementalX kernel and its smooth. Everything I have done so far (backup from dropbox, restore apps.. etc) has been easy and everything opens quick. Love the stock feel. :good:

That would certainly be a treat! I was hoping you'd say you will wait for official update... It's what has been stopping me from flashing any cm builds. People still on the OG are in for a treat. Sorry to derail the thread, DK, back on topic now lol....

I was just checking cause unwanted to try that kernel on here but didn't want to waste my time if it didn't work. I'm still pretty new to the ONE threads. Anyways, took the leap and so far so good. Love the Rom btw. Now lets hack naitive tethering

Sprint. He made a Sprint variant of the kernel in the original dev thread. It's behind in updates compared to the international version, but it works good enough for me to use.

This rom is based off of the latest leak for the evo shift. Big thanks to my friend aamikam for the original work on this rom without him it wouldnt be as great as it is now... And another huge thanks to Seo and snq for making most of these 3.0 features work on 2.1.... this rom is so good im releasing it without beta testing and in my opinon its the best 2.1 rom out

NOTES:This is an odex rom so a full wipe is required. I am not responisble for any damage that may happen to your device.

Very fast rom, great work. Few things I noticed so far are the 4g is there in the quick settings and sprint boot animation/traces of sprint throughout the rom, and weather wallpaper for lockscreen doesnt work, weather live wallpaper is missing. Other than that, this runs like a champ, fastest 2.1/3.0 I've run.

Your welcome! He kind of just disappeared and there was no paper trail to follow so I figured I would try and keep things going here. XDA is a far better and bigger community and no developer should just up and leave especially one loved as much as joelz. He is fantastic at what he does with his team but left very little way for us to find him. So I will keep updating this page for him and post the new downloads. This is a very popular and well put together ROM and I think people got upset he left without a trace.
Thank you. I, too, enjoy this rom very much. I have absolutely no interest in who stepped on who's toes, received credit or didn't, etc... I just love how bad-ass this rom is, as well as its constant improvement and evolution.

Agreed joelz is a good guy but I would like for him to come back as well. I have no problem with the evolution of a project and a persons want to be a individual but he just disappeared so fast. Like you said you didn't even have the link to his site! We love ya joelz and miss ya but if you don't come back I will continue this post for the XDA community. Plus signing up for another forum is annoying......

I don't have any knowledge of linux or whatever coding needed to make ROMS. As I stated above this is not my ROM and not my work I take no credit for it just supplying the community with a easy way of finding a great ROM for the DINC.

Though I doubt this will be heard here, I would love to see a flashable zip to get rid of the recent apps in the pull down. Long pressing the home button does same thing.

He infact did leave the link to his site. Look in his signature. Also, read the last ten pages on the closed thread. The first few are how it should be, and then it just blows up. You'll know why he moved. More and more of the Dinc devs are leaving XDA because of this very reason.

Simple Question: To go from RLS1.7 to 2, do I need to perform a Wipe? Or Flashing over would work just fine? I guess the same question for 2 to 3 (when it becomes available)?
And this is an off-topic question, but hoping someone has come across this:
For folks using the old replacement application for CityID the City Caller ID... have you guys figured out a work around for when a call is coming in, and the screen is locked with the NEW Sense lock? Since it covers everything else, the City and State information displayed now does not show up through the lock screen.
Any thoughts guys?

you will always be told to do a full wipe for joelz ROMs he nor (i doubt) anyone else will say just flash over you may get some "i flashed over and nothing bad happened" comments but everyone's phones are different and a full wipe is always the safest way to flash a rom especially these 2.1/3.0 roms cause there so big... but i would wipe then flash unless you don't mind to take your chances... his updates usually are pretty big with more then 5-10 things changed or added so a wipe would defiantly be the way to go

(changelog is originally from it as well...any version for the inc going forward will then follow that version scheme..which is currently version 1.4)
First and foremost a huge portion of the credit goes to Romanbb for his Bulletproof rom on the mt4g slide. This is a loose port of that, and all the tweaks are due to him. The rom name "Bullet" is taken from "Bulletproof" as well I would not have been able to port this to the inc as quick as a I did (a few days) w/o wdfowty and his Dub-Shot Espresso Rom here I used his install zip and script as a template because I was unused to the partition sizes coming from an inc2 which has a much bigger /system and doesn't need to install to /data and symlink to system
***Please keep in mind that the mytouch 4g slide has a 1.2 ghz dual core newer snapdragon processor. Whereas we are running an ancient 1 ghz single core on the og inc...some lag is to be expected as a result of running a rom meant for a dual core phone...if thats the case for you, I'd recommend using a custom kernel***

*if something is greyed out in tweaks it means 1) I havent gotten it working or 2) it isnt meant for this rom (remnant of one of roman's other roms)
*kb doesnt not show up after data wipe, just reboot and it will be there
*in my touch widget wifi calling doesnt work
*burst mode doesnt work in camera (requires mt4g camera hardware to function properly)
**inc only bug: ffc doesnt work (obviously)
**inc only bug: weather is glitchy and so is video playback
***Wifi, calls, data, sms, mms all seem to work on the inc (i reactivated mine to test)
FAQ
Q: How do I add shortcuts to the lockscreen (sense)?
A: You can't. For whatever reason htc didnt add that in.
Q: I found a bug/issue not listed in known bugs, what do I do?
A: Ideally send me a logcat and an accurate description of the issue.
Q: How do I change lockscreens?
A: Go to settings-> tweaks -> lockscreen settings...and change to what you want, then reboot to set. (note music controls only work on sense lockscreen)
Q: When will this be finished?
A: No port is ever 100% finished, but hopefully I will be able to fix many of the existing issues rather quickly.
Q: Why doesnt my search key soft menu button work?
A: I remove many google apps like gmail, voice search, maps, etc to keep the rom as current as possible for as long as possible. Download google search from the market.
Q: Isn't this the same thing as newt's rom on themikmik?
A: No, but since its essentially the same RUU, it will be similar. I feel mine is usable, whereas that particular rom was only a preview release and would require more work to be a completely usable rom.
Q: How do I change boot animation/down animation?
A: Replace bootanimation.zip and/or downanimation.zip in /data/local with files of the same name.
Q: I though mysense/mt4g had a pink-ish theme to it.
A: It does/did, but I've removed it from most system icons and the frameworks. There are still remnants I have to get to.
Q: I just loaded the rom and have no keyboard?!
A: Just reboot, it sometimes doesn't show on a data wipe. You should also try to use it before rebooting, because if you don't rebooting may not bring it up. Its been suggested setting keyboard type to compact in settings, fixes it without rebooting

but i have multiple roms out for the inc2 and samsung fascinate.
the htc inc was my 2nd android phone (after a quick hatefest with the droid x) and I used for a few months until giving it to my wife and switching to the fascinate. now that she has a thunderbolt and the og inc was just sitting around, I decided to work on it for fun
i will do my best to get this as functional for the inc as i feel it is for the inc2

as for lag, i only include the stock ota kernel....but custom ext4 kernels probably handle it better...remember though the rom is intended for a newer gen dual core 1.2 ghz snapdragon...not our older 1ghz single core

strange...usually after a data wipe i touch a textbox area and it wont show...then just hot reboot and its there
there doesnt seem to be much i can do about getting it to show the first time (i have this issue on my inc2 version) but that usually does the trick
i can try and add alternate keyboard i suppose and see how that works

Well there are a bunch of differences: we have the theme stuff incorporated into this rom as well as different tweaks, apps, and optimizations etc. Suggest you download it yourself and you'll see the differences.

Rom has been running great since I flashed it last night, very nice job on this. Snappy and smooth as expected. My custom keyboards are flashing fine on this rom as well. Just flashed this awhile ago, but ended up switching roms (just to see what others offered). That said, I'm about to reflash this, I loved the inverted theme you can choose right in recovery but I was curious about one thing. Does choosing the Odexed option allow you to use ART runtime and also does it break any of the tweaks in the rom?

Nah atm there is no way to use art if your using a rom with modified apks.
Stockish roms (not mentioning any names) are the only ones where you can use art as of yet

Am I doing something wrong? Mine whener I try to sync my back up it gives me an endless loop of loading...and never gets out of the backup.. and I also selected the theme and it did not change

Known Bugs for VZW Safestrap Version:
Signal Bars won't Show. Still get 4g but wont show Strength. Theres apps available if you must know in the the Playstore.
In Aroma Installer Avoid the Material Design Theme Choice or the Alternate Dialer Theme choice and the System Note 4 Upgrade choice in the options menu - might work but usually these choices result in a stalled boot
If ROM doesn't boot within 8 Minutes (yes it takes a long time inital boot up!) then try reinstalling with less options!

Donate to us by using links a little ways up the page while you install the ROM in Safestrap 3.75+ over a freshly created ROM Slot!
Flash your System Modules in Safestrap (NC2 Modules should be baked into the ROM so Reset once Aroma is done is fine!)
Then Reset Phone and wait initial bootup is slow
If you have errors or issues with data or wifi and your using NC2, NC5 or NG6 Firmware please flash one of the "WiFi Fixes" I offer before commenting on or giving up on the ROM. The all in one fixes I offer are easily found by searching my AndroidFileHost website!

Something that I noticed with the APN, at the end has an option called "Bearer" that you have to select LTE in order to get data, maybe sounds dumb, but I was getting crazy asking myself why I didn't have data :laugh:

Pretty impressive port/rom , i did notice that some selected stuff from aroma does really select though, like when i click the 0% transparent mod, it still installs it, or some apps I unchecked so it doesnt install, but it still installs, but no big deal, i can easily delete those , i was also having MMS issues, not sure if its because im on the L720T, im currently working on a T version tho so amma report back if i get things working on this side

Did anyone try to edit the build.prop with the correct phone name/model to try to fix the visual voice mail. This is what I had to do on other ports I've tried to make it work.
I dirty flashed this on top of stock OA3. Boot loop after first reboot. Fixed by a factory reset in TWRP. Up and running now. I'm glad Spark wheel is still here.
Antutu score （tested 3 times）: 30577/30188/29992. The score seems lower than stock.
I think the exchange / email app might have some issues with it. I posted the problem in the Q&As thread but I wanted to make sure Sacs knew of this bug and if others had the same problem. After having it request "The server outlook.office365.com must be able to remotely control some security features on your device. Continue?", and I click Ok, I get "Unfortunately email has stopped". So for now I am just using the Outlook app for my work email, but sadly it doesn't sync the calendar and contacts to the native android apps, but other than that the ROM is working great, so far battery life is just as good as Sac's other ROMs.

Edit-reporting back after doing a rebuild on the L720T, so far edited the build.prop to match the T, edited the framework.res.apk/eri.xml to match our stock, got MMS working, I also switched to our stock kernel, just for stability reasons, I love KT but im very cautious with the T version, so far I got a pretty stable build with network fully funtioning, can update PRL/Profile, so consider me a happy camper , thanks again to the original dev, sacs & who ever contributed

Correct, I decompiled, edited the eri.xml with one of out NG5 stock then recompiled & im better off just sending you the build I made lol
