Compromising method to achieve 9.1.B.1.67 Rooted CWM with locked BL [XT] - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Firstly, I have to declare that It's just a Compromising method, Means that it is not a perfect way to root your phone.
1. Rooted .411 Rom with CWM is needed first.
2. Download the ROM (scan the QR code to achieve thanks to sj8023ld) and Flashable CWM v7. Copy all of those zips in memory. If you want to delete system apps, just open the ROM zips with winrar and deleted the apps in system/app before you flash it.
3. Reboot to CWM and flash the ROM firstly, then the CWM v7.
4. Now open flashtool, go to flash mode, select .67 FTF and select only KERNEL and BASEBAND (exclude all other and remove the tics from WIPE DATA, WIPE CACHE, WIPE APPSLOG and tic no final verification ) thank to chinmoy32
5. Finally, you achieve the ROM Deodexed Rooted with CWM. But the reboot problem still existed when u edited system files. If u want to modify system files, u can try the two ways below.
1. Go back to the 411 kernel (see the TIPS 4 above, chang the .67 FTF to .411), after the modification finished do tips 4 again.
2. Make the system files flashable. then flash it using CWM.

If you choose to stay on the 411 kernel, you will meet no reboot issues,It works well. But you can not enjoy the benefits bring by the .67 kernel.

search for 20o patched bin and fls files and flash them with smartflash and from there flash any ROM you like.
CM9 is not suitable as an everyday rom, try another one, personally I will recommend you CM7 or Zeus(thou I dont know if the have LTR support).
In face I rooted it by unlock root before then I flashed the cm9
I detected the errors then I re-flashed the stock rom with smart flash tool
but now I want to root again I can't
why???
also is cm7 stable and can I download it from cm website directly or where can I download it??
is cm7 supports rtl support(especially arabic)??
Is cm7 have thread in this forum??
Patched v20o comes with cwm recovery so from there you can flash any rom, yes you should.always get cm from official site or look for temasek kang in general forum.

do I delete v026?
how do I flash the downloaded files?
And what should I delete in order to preserve memory
Will it also work for stock kernel?
By flashing it will overwrite your old system.
You flash by the same instructions you made to get v26
I guess you have to read what is written here.
Your questions is all basic maybe take sometime to read this. It will teach you so much

New User, have some questions

Hi guys, just got a Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 dirty cheap from Hong Kong, and using it now in the states. I am a huge fan of rooting/flashing and stuff, so I decided to give myself a little test and see how long I can keep this phone stock. I lasted two days...haha.
So, I set out to see how to root this thing. After reading thread after thread, I learned about the wipe brick bug on stock Samsung kernels.
Now here's my question:
I want to use method 1A (to be safe) using this guide here, and it led me to this thread. Now here's where I get confused. Which kernel am I supposed to download and flash?
My Stock ROM system info (remember, this is from Hong Kong)
Model Number:
GT-N7000
Android Version:
4.0.3
Baseband Version:
N7000XXLR1
Kernel Version:
3.0.15-N7000ZSLPF-CL558440
[email protected] #3
SMP PREEMPT Tue May 15 15:39:39 KST 2012
Build Number:
IML74K.ZSLPF
Any for of enlightenment is greatly appreciated, thanks guys!
The easiest is flash a safe custom kernel that will be safe to wipe, provides root access, and has Clockworkmod Recovery. Below is how I setup my phone to flash Paranoidandroid. I started with a stock N7000XXLRT rom. I did install and run Triangle Away to later to remove the yellow triangle counter warning on boot. Largely cosmetic. Please check wikis of this speedmod kernel supports ICS 4.0.3.
If all you want is root and a safe kernel then you end with step 3 and apply Triangle Away.
1. Begin with a stock ICS rom on your Note.
2. Use Odin on the PC,select PDA, and flash speedmod-kernel-n7000-ics-k3-13-Odin.tar with usb cable. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1673072
3. After flashing speedmod kernel you will have root access, and a custom Clockworkmod Recovery in which to flash custom roms.
4. Get Paranoidandroid zip and Gapps zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1871713 . Copy the Paranoidandroid and Gapps zip files on your phone's internal sd card.
5. Backup efs folder just to be sure. Use kTool from Google Play or manually copy the EFS folder with Explorer+ also from Google Play. Copy the files to your pc.
6. Press power button, select reboot, reboot into recovery and go to backup and restore section and create a backup. Select go back and reboot.
6. Reboot into recovery (Clockworkmod Recovery) wipe cache partition, wipe data/factory reset, wipe dalvik cache (advanced).
7. From recovery, select install from zip from sd card. Select choose zip from internal sdcard. Select the Paranoid rom zip and flash. Do the same to flash Gapps zip. Go back and reboot.
*When flashing nightlies, no need to wipe cache, data, and dalvik. But install Gapps zip again in Recovery. You will need to set up your Google account again.

Thanks. So it doesn't matter that I am on Stock Samsung ICS ROM from Hong Kong?
And also, what version of Odin do I use, or does it not matter?
Yes. HK rom pretty much is the same kernel with local enhancements. The XXLR1 seems to be German or European. It should be ok. Again please verify if the speedmod kernel works with ICS 4.0.3. The site says ICS so I think it does.
I used Odin3-v1.85.zip. Make sure you have an excellent usb cable. Test the rig by copying large files between your pc and the Note internal sdcard.

[Q] root problem

hello
im currently using an android 4.0.3 XXLQ3 rom
my main objective is to install PARANOIDANDROID rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115167
in order to get root+safe kernel + cwm i used phiz recommended method described here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901191
after i flashed it i rebooted the device i now have cwm but i do not have root or supersu app and i dont know if im on safe kernel or not
i read on the forum that lq3 room has some sort of a space problem as described here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360
saying:
1B.If you want just Root but not kernel, follow this
- Download Root_SuperSu 0.95
-Copy downloaded file to Ext SD card.
-Reboot into recovery (vol up+Home+power)
-Select install zip from ext SD card
-select 'root_SuperSU-*.zip' which you have copied to Ext card above
-Reboot device
-You can see superSU on appl drawer. open it and update.
-Now This will give you only SuperSU not busybox, though application which doesn't depends on system busybox will still works.e.g.Titanium Backup.
-To get full Root+busybox, Download Root_busybox *.zip
-Copy Root_busybox* only to Ext SD card
-Reboot into recovery, Select Install zip from Ext SD card. select Root_busybox* .zip and Flash.
-Done !
PS : If you can't see superSU after flashing above file(sometimes happen if there is too low space like in LQ3 ROM, then use this Root_superSU, followed by same above Root_busybox file.

so my questions are:
1. how do i get root from my current state? can i use the root_supersu in cwm instead of stock recover?
2. how can i tell if my kernel is safe atm? phiz is suppose to be safe but maybe if root failed the mmc_cap remove failed too?
soory for the long post
thanks in advance to all the helpers!
what is the name of the kernel( with extension) you flashed and how did you flash it?

i flased PhilZ-cwm6-XXLQ3-OXX-3.99-signed.zip
i flashed it using stock recovery as the post described
that is correct file.. if you have cwm then the kernel has been installed... try to flash the kernel again from cwm... then reboot and see for a supersu app..

i used Root_SuperSu -freespace and now im rooted
the last question i have now is my kernel safe?
phiz kernel suppose to be safe does super_su somehow overwrite the mmc_cap erase?
If your recovery is philz cwm then you have safe kern l
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Nope. It's safe. Kernel is what has the erase command disabled and supersu just installs supersu
Thanks for everyone's help managed to root and install
u can close thread.

[ROM][5.1.1][10.7.A.0.228] New stock ROM! [DEODEX PATCH]

Hi everyone!
I want to share for you new ftf with newest stock firmware for Xperia Z. It's Customized DE.
ROM is rootable, Xposed is working, Zombie kernel too!
(Advanced Stock Kernel from .222 is working too)
Download link: https://mega.co.nz/#!isUERBwA!Sh-zuG62QLVbD9mb5bcz6fxJJoEtLfFrGvD_8FZRZbw
Today i've created and uploaded deodex patch for this rom.
This is flashable from recovery, but if you'd get bootloop after flashing this, do this:
1. Extract archive
2. Copy /system folder to phone
3. Open TWRP recovery on phone
4. Mount /system and on file explorer delete /app, /priv-app and /framework
5. Copy extracted folders to /system
6. Wipe data (you can try with wiping only dalvik/cache)
7. Reboot
Link: https://mega.nz/#!LkVCTBpK!gJnFPi_dYzjoSxk0OEo_ASl72I_LIWylrYud93CqQfo
Rom need LB or UB
This is official FTF. It's for LB/UB...
