Have this ROM PA-pie controls?

Great to see Eclipse return
Is it still based off stock (presumably 4.1.2) or is it a custom ROM now?

Flashing now! Thanx!
Flash it. It haven`t PA-pies! It have LMT!

when it goes to install the ROM (after i wipe data, wipe cache, mount system in CWM) it says that it's mounting the system like a horse then I get "symlink: some symlinks failed"...(status 7)
I have downloaded the original and also tried the mirror link
EDIT: i fixed the issue, apparently there is no need to mount the system before install as with other ROMS

I like the ROM. Not too crazy/overboard with options but enough to play with. Am I missing something though because I can't send MMS on ANY 4.2.2 ROMs including this one but every thread says it works. It just stays stuck on "SENDING"

Is the battery life as good as the previous Eclipse Rom?

Well at least for you its just MMS. I flashed the rom together with the gapps and I cannot access my APN settings under wireless and networks (even if i have global gsm selected). Hopefully nitro could help us out with this one. I'm sure you and I have the same problem since MMS requires a proper APN setting which you can't access atm.

I feel like a total newb, but what exactly did you Guy's wipe to get this flashed. I wiped cache, dalvk, and did a factory reset on safe strap. And got a boot failure.
Now I'm in twrp and am ready to try again after some guidance

This is a port bkjolly has been doing from
the PACMan rom he in no way developed this rom
he ported it to work with this specific device with
the help of Dhacker and Hashcode.
All credit for the rom is the PACMan devs alone.
As well as this thread if you look at the bottom of the page you will find
the OP that was created at xda and this was copied from.
Description
After months of work, the long awaited PACman 4.2 rom is ready for public
released. This is still work in progress WIP and there are many missing
parts. Though the rom is rock stable for average users. We are working
on it daily to fill the missing parts.
Now what is PACman? The idea was to remove the need for a hunt of rom and
cure flasholicsm by providing everything xda has in rom development in a
single bloat free rock stable rom. This is the FIRST rom of its kind
with a hybrid framework consisting on cm10.1, AOKP and AOSPA. What makes
PACman unique is this perfect blend of all of these. Be informed PACman
is not a "git cherry-pick blahblah yeee i am a dev donatezzz me" rom.
It took a LOT of work of thinking behind to merge the frameworks in the
right order.

great! going to Flash ASAP!
How stable is it? Is it similar to cm 4.2.2 lag and speed?
Flashing anyways lol, will report back, thanks
EDIT: Flashed Bytecode's kernel with this rom (VanquishKernel). Just like cm10.1, it gave a boost in speed and lag reduction. Also, Voice Search isn't working. Amazing rom so far, can't wait for the more updates

I just did a full wipe without restoring system data. On the first boot pie was enabled at the bottom. Setting the navigation bar to 100% in hybrid properties disabled pie and had the navigation bar show up like normal.
It may be possible that some code was changed in AOSPA that's causing that bug on your phone?
When you have a chance, take a nandroid backup, factory reset, flash PAC and see if the issue persists.

Thank you for all your hard work! You're one of the few I've seem developing for the i9505g.
UPDATE: Its almost midnight here in Hawaii but I wanted to let everyone know I added an extended power menu, removed more junk, deodexed the ROM and centered the clock on the notification bar.
I have a few more edits and then I will upload the file tomorrow night. I may have one more basic update and then I am going to focus on my two other projects for this phone which is a from Source ROM and the TW port to give us some variety.

That one should work on the GE phones.
For everyone else as to why there is so little ROM dev for the GE S4 it is because you should be able to use any ROM made for the international S4. At least any AOSP/CM based mod.

The softkey layout and modification is a must for me. I rely on the 5 key setup with menu and search there. The ROM looks awesome otherwise!
Any chance for bootloader locked xt926, i mean will it support safestrap recovery?
Sent from my GT-S6012 using Tapatalk 2
I'd be interested in a "locked bootloader" version as well. I mean, if its based on the stock kernel doesn't that mean it could be modified to be flashed via SafeStrap (sorry, limited knowledge of how this stuff works)? I've got a bootloader unlocked XT926 that I've flashed four or five 4.2.2 ROMs on but I always come back to RageHD because, while it may not have every new bell and whistle, EVERYTHING WORKS! I just picked up a locked bootloader Maxx HD already upgraded to 9.18.79 and I'd be glad to recommend RageHD to anyone else in the same situation if there were a SafeStrap flashable version.
I noticed when I flashed the rom, there was a mention of RageHD Extras being placed on my SD card but I don't see it anywhere on my SD card. Very interested to know what is in it!!

Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2
I've got a locked bootloader XT926 with SafeStrap installed. I'd be glad to test RageHD on it. Would I use the "normal" process? Activated a slot, flash RageHD to that slot (no need to wipe a new slot but if I reused one I would), reboot? I won't need to flash Gapps separately, right?

I personally don't favor pie much cause I'm such a noob that I barely understand how it works! I'd love a flashable softkey mod that would work with this awesome rom! 5 softkeys and this is my definite DD for the time being!!! Great job on everything else!!
P.S. I opened the wifi kill app and the whole phone crashed!! I thought I more than wifi killed it...lol

Love the rom so far but had the same problem with wifi kill. Didn't know if I did something wrong since I never used it before. Now that I actually know what it is I don't think I really have a need for that but thought you should know that it might be crashing the phone.
Thanks for an awesome rom...

I just dropped that one in there for fun. I've had it in my stash of "cool ****" for quite some time. If its going to misbehave I'll just get rid of it in the next update

It probably will boot but you will most likely need to do the same mods as all the other xt926 ROMs for radio to work

Going to have to give this a try...seems like this will be a good DD.

What's the word on flashing this on an XT926 that's rooted but with a locked bootloader? I've got a Maxx HD that's already updated to 9.18.79. Rooted, Safestrap installed. Many of the custom ROMs for the XT926 say you must have an unlocked bootloader to flash them. Is this true of RageHD?

It was in the description with bold caps letters! If you couldn't figure that out on your own clearly you don't need to follow through with the install.....

Keep in mind, I do not own this device, but my two testers do, and I rely heavily on them.
Either way, if you have any questions, first, read the FAQ below, then ask away, dev thread or not.
(Work In Progress) FAQ
Do I have to wipe before flashing??
Always wipe, no matter what ROM you are on now, even if it's a previous version of BlakCM.
I flashed a different kernel and now I'm having an issue, what should I do?
Boot to recovery, wipe everything and reflash BlakCM. I'll only provide support for the kernel integrated into BlakCM.
I see 'So and so" posted a fix for this issue or that, is it safe to flash that fix on BlakCM?
Please make a backup before making any modifications or flashing any 'fixes' from ANYONE. You also flash said fix or mod at your own risk..
My data [3G/4G/LTE] doesn't work, but everyone else's seems fine, how do I fix it?
Flash a Stock ROM and update your profile then flash back to BlakCM.
This ROM is for the carrier in the section it is placed in, if you have problems with data and are on a different carrier,
then you must search elsewhere for a fix or ask around to see if someone else knows.
I flashed the ROM and now I have an issue, what should I do?
Pull a logcat and post it on to pastebin.com, provide a link in this thread to it.
Be detail specific in your post. I need to know if you have modded or changed anything that may cause the issue.
How do I pull a logcat?
Check out this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1726238
Will you add 'this' feature?
Not likely. If you want a feature added unofficially, you should add the feature yourself and post your unofficial build.
When will this 'issue' be fixed?
NO ETA's.
thanks!

Nightlies need not apply. Based on the source used for this build, this would be closer to 9/24-25. Anyhow, I'll sync and compile another build tonight if data is a problem across the board, otherwise, it will be later this week.

Listview Animations? Yes. I have yet to be able to run it myself to tell you with certainty, but I was also told, that listview was updated and I am unaware as to whether or not it has been updated within this source. Either way, there is Listview. Yes.
TEST build uploading now.
I repeat, TEST.

The only issue I ran into were some force closes in settings, and cannot install .apk files from my download folder. It simply would not let me press on install. Other than that, the rom is smooth, and I love the black theme.

To side load apps, go into wherever the setting is to toggle installing non-market apps. Toggle it on and off a few times, see if that works. As for FC's, what part of settings FCd exactly?

Just tried flashing this. Not getting any 3G or 1x data at all. LTE is connecting, though. Everything else seems to be working great.
Thanks, dev.
Is there a specific version of TWRP or CWM that you recommend for flashing this?
I'm not in a position to test 4G, however 3G is working well.

Everything seems to work good (4G,Data,Camera and everything else I tried) except when I restore SMS from titanium it shows the messages then they all disappear. Phone log restores great though. Thanks for the 4.4.
Edit: Going to try sms backup and restore, they say it doesnt restore because of hangouts.

You're getting 3G? What the heck? I've tried this rom, the CM11 build and Garwyn's 4.4 AOKP build. For some reason I cannot get 3G/1x to work no matter what I try on Gummy/CM11, but it works fine on the AOKP build.

It has nothing to do with Hangouts. To restore sms, you have to set the backup app to the default text message app in the settings. KitKat only allows the app you set as default to write to the sms database. After you're done restoring, switch the default message app to an actual messaging app (Hangouts/Messaging/GoSMS/Whatever).

Same here. No 3G. But it works on Garwynn's build.
Kiekan--are you on an MVNO? On Garwynn's build, I get the "Roaming indicator off" carrier label, so I wonder if that's a factor.
Has anyone flashed with Philz recovery? What's the recommended way to flash? With twrp?

Nope. I'm on Sprint. I really just don't get how other people are having no issues with data, while it just refuses to connect for some. I have no data issues at all on 4.3 roms.
