Nexus 7 Successor - Nexus 7 General

With the Nexus 7 Successor right around the corner according to rumors, what are you guys expecting/hoping for (things that probably wont happen but you wish they did)!? Here are my lists.
Expecting:
- Snapdragon 600/800 SoC
- 1080p Screen
- Slimmer (bezels and thickness)
- Rear facing camera
Hoping for:
- 7.7~8.0 inch screen
- 8000~9000 mAh battery
- Gorilla Glass 2/3
Will never happen but wish it would cause I don't want an iPad:
- 4:3 aspect ratio (16:9 and 16:10 are just the wrong aspect ratio for a tablet!!!!)

I did like the 4:3 of my iPad but that'll never happen. The downside was neither orientation felt better over the other since they were so close. The 16:9 allows for greater advantages for specific situations. My old iPad "felt" like the screen was bigger then my original transformer.
I'd be happy with:
Snapdragon 600
1080p screen
wireless charging
Sweet smart cover solution
MS and Apple both have smart cases. The N7 official case would have been sweet of it would stay closed.
They'll probably use the S4 Pro SoC to save money though. If they do go with 1080p, I hope the Pro will be able to keep up. Don't want no iPad3 crap. Its has to be noticeably faster at 1080p.

Seems like for the most part there isn't much distinction between the Snapdragon S4 Pro and the 600 (other than in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S4) and as far as 1080p needing more horsepower, from a graphical point of view both SoCs are IDENTICAL with the Adreno 320 GPU so it shouldn't matter much!
But I'm still foolishly holding my breath for the Adreno 330 in the 800 but that's as unlikely to happen as a Tegra 4...

i dono, i think the krait 300 in the s600 vs the krait 200 in the s4 makes a decent (admittedly incremental) upgrade. so i'd much rather have the 600 to tell you the truth. Qualcomm claims "Snapdragon 600 processor to deliver up to 40% better performance than the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor at lower power." so that's neat.
the rumors say anything from s4 to s800 in the next n7, and while i think the 800 is a pipe dream, the bluetooth sig explicitly stating the inclusion of the 600 is a pretty good sign i think. i just can't wait til it's announced, in may i asked for play store gift certificates for my birthday so i'm kind of invested no matter what is in it

I wouldn't buy a 4:3 tablet. I use it to watch videos a lot, so 4:3 is useless to me. If you want that ratio, get an iPad or Prestigio or something like that.

I would bet on these specs
2GB of ram
1080p IPS 7" LCD
Snapdragon S4/or 600 (800 is unlikely but fingers crossed)
Made of better materials (preferable metal back or chrome bezel ) no screen lift
5MP back camera
2Mp front camera
HSDPA/LTE bands 4/17 (for att and T-Mobile)
200-250$ starting price tag for 16-32gb space
Lte model will be 300-350 for 16-32gb

it s not too big
it s just t.oO tall
cpu and gpu and display tech improved But another thing not improved and even get worse so technically it s not better than Z and ZL except 6.4" display
A large size of screen makes it's ppi less than xperia z .....
too big like a beast. doesnt worth to buy it.. 7inch tablet would be better

It's half and inch smaller than a 7" tablet , so the device is the same size approximatly the same size as the Nexus 7 screen. Your logic is a little flawed.
This device is a 7" Tablet competitor.

It is. The only problem with that is most phone functions still require the device to be held in Portrait. LIke the dialer for instance. With a device this big, however, it becomes impossible to hold Portrait with one hand (Unless you are Lebron James).
I had a Huawei Ascend Mate, and it just would not fit in my hand in Portait. More than 1/2 of the body was above my fingertips making it dangerous to hold. It kept leaning forward, about to fall out of my hand.
Now, if you accept it as a Tablet, and just know that you will pretty much NEVER be able to use it with one hand, I guess you would enjoy it. Just give up all those things you are accustomed to doing with your phone with one hand. You know, like calling people!

I stand under you completely, (My Z dialer works in landscape BTW) , I think even Sony see this issue with the Z Ultra too, that is why it is been advertised with the SBH52 Headset/Mini Phone . Sometimes even the Z is a little too big for my liking, it doesn't fit on some of my pockets when i sit down etc., there is no chance an Ultra Z is going to fit
But it still looks an incredible device, i'm sure there is a market for it if they made it !

Sheesh... calm down. Not everyone have small hands. It's completely possible to hold it in portrait by using one hand. I got Galaxy Note 2 and I could easily hold it in one hand and when I rest it in my palm, it fit with big room to spare, enough room for me to fit my WT19i device. It's all about user preferences. Some people like small phone, but some like me like big phones. Just stop bashing this phone because of its size, okay?
You Are Right Guys... No Worth Of Buying It...
It's Just Sony's & Samsung's Game... I Can Tell That Xperia Z/ZL Is The Best Phone And No Need Any Other Phone Because You Can Do Everything With Z/ZL ... Maybe In 2020 There Will Be 3.6 GHZ 4Core , Bravia Engine 20 Phones With 1TB Drive But There is No Need... GS4 Is Better (Benchmark Results) But What Can Be Done With It , Also Can Be Done With XZL... Xperia Z is Just perfect and I HATE SAMSUNG... !!!

I Love my 8.4 but...

Hi all!
I am a happy owner of the Galaxy Tab S 8.4. The screen wows me every time I hit the power button, and the size/weight are perfect for my daily commute on the NYC subways. With that being said, I don't love how the processor performs, and how long it has historically taken Samsung to update the OS. With the Nexus 9 just a couple of days away, I wanted to start a good discussion on the state of 8-9 inch tablets.
Tab S Pros:
Screen - Simply Stunning
Size and weight are perfect
SD card slot
Tab S Cons:
Sluggish performance (likely stemming from Touchwiz and switching back and fourth between core sets)
Update cycles
FREQUENT accidental button taps
Nexus 9:
k1 - k1 - k1 - did I mention the k1?
IPS display (although not a higher res than the Tab S)
Android L - VANILLA
OS updates in tune with Google
On Screen buttons (I hate the samsung soft keys... a lot)
Cons:
No SD slot
iOS like 4:3 screen ratio
Heavier than Tab S
I'm sure there a lot of Tab S owners wondering the same thing, and want the opinions of current Tab S owners rather than general android lovers. Be honest... if you think I'm nuts for considering, tell me. If not, tell me why. EITHER way... it's a great time to be an Android enthusiast.
Thanks in advance.
well I don't have the 8.4 variant, using the 10.5 LTE and for me it's all about the screen,I only use it for watching series/movies because of the screen, nothing more, so the Nexus 9 won't be even close to it when it comes to experience, also like you said micro-SD card to store series/movies, that's the only thing I do with it, I have not used tablets before as I did not find any use for it, but with this screen, just wow.
so for me performance is low prio,I have even underclocked (and undervolted) it to 1GHz on the A15 cores just to get little better battery life. if I want performance I use my desktop with i7 3960X and 2xR9 290X
but I'm sure Samsung will release a updated version of this with latest Exynos 5433 SoC, I guess with the Tab S they wanted to show us the beautiful S-AMOLED screen and the Exynos 5420 was the best they could put in it, altough Snapdragon 801 should have been possible, but they want to use their own SoC.
I already placed my Tab S on ebay in anticipation of the Nexus 9 release.
My reasons for the new Nexus:
1: Newest/Fastest processor - with 64 bits and the Tegra K1, it should be 1-2 years future proof.
2: Soft touch back -
3. Newest Android support at all times
4. Nexus Devices hold resale value for ~9 months
My reason against the tab S:
1. Very high resale value as of 10/12
2. Its processor is dated.
My reasons for the Tab S:
1: Prefer AMOLED screen
2. Prefer hardware buttons.
3. Have a 128 GB microSD that is about to go unused.
4. Compact size for screen size.
My reasons against the Nexus 9:
1. No microSD (bigger deal if max size is 32GB)
2. Crossing line into full-sized tablet
3. The Nexus 10.... quickly surprassed
btw, the Nexus 9 might come with micro-SD, still no AMOLED
Sent from my GALAXY S5
Decision made.
Wanted to share my decision with everyone, which was tough.
I ended up selling my Tab S and its case for 340. Gonna pre-order the Nexus as soon as they go up. The k1 is such a draw... and the screen isn't that far off from what the Tab S has. IPS is great, and if it's 1440p I'll be satisfied. Crossing my fingers hoping that the rumors are true.
Either way, there are some great Android options out there now.
I was going to get the tab 4.. I ended up getting the tab s 10.5 because of the Samsung ad of the amazing amoled screen, its thinness, fingerprint scanner, and the flash. I kinda regret it now since I don't really need a amazing 2k amoled screen and the development of Roms for it doesn't have much support. Aw well at least I got something to show off its fake gold trim
Nexus 9 specs:
228.2 x 153.7 x 7.9 mm, 425 g (Wi-Fi) / 436 g (3G/LTE)
Screen: 8.9 inches (4:3)
versus Tab 8.4 specs:
212.8 x 125.6 x 6.6 mm, 298 g
Screen: 8.4 inches (16:10)
For me the Tab S wins on portability (versus screen real estate).
Also I do prefer the 16:10 form factor (better usable in one hand, in particular as I use it as my cellphone, plus better for videos. I also prefer the narrower design for text input by swyping. For extensive Input I combine it with an Apple wireless keyboard which has almost same depth wich makes it good for traveling). Performance is plenty enough. Only disadvantage I see is lack of custom rom.
Can I honestly ask besides removing some (lots) of the bloat, being able to install a different launcher and rooting to install xposed what do people think a custom rom will give them?
I realise some kernels will allow extra features like overclocking etc (Not a good idea on a small device IMHO and with 20+ years experience of IT) but what do you really need a custom rom for?
Custom ROM = Customization ?

Samsung is working on the second generation of the Tab S

It took longer than I thought it would considering its Samsung but I read an article announcing their working on a second generation of the tab s. There wasn't much info nor were there any specs so I didn't post the link. Hopefully this one will fix all the minor issues. Considering what the original was this new one should be the top dog for awhile. Has anyone heard any other info?

Yes. Article in Android Authority. 9.x" and 8.0" Tab S2
They're gonna be 4:3 ratio which sucks for media.
Sigh, please be a rumor with this 4:3 crap! What are we reverting to a simpler time?
Grrrrrrrr!
4:3 is very good for everything else besides watching movies, but I guess if you use your tablet for watching movies mostly then yeah it's going to suck.
What I want is better speakers (probably not gonna happen) and I want less air gap between the glass and screen to make the screen look even better.
Better speakers would definitely be nice but I'm not sure how good they'd be in a slim casing. New tab will most likely get the toned down tw. I couldn't wait to root and get rid of tw, its the #1 that keeps me away from Samsung phones. I love the note 4...

Im pretty sure its going to have the new exynos chip. Like the ones made in korea that had a tad newer chip then the ones we have now. And probably a fix on the overheating issue.

+1 on the over heat issues, been having it all day(playing hearthstone)
I'm very happy with my 10.5 and looking forward to 5.0.1. It helped reduce lag on my note 4 considerably - its virtually non existent now, and the battery life is better so I can't wait to receive it on my current tab s - hoping it will kill the lag. I don't think I'll upgrade this time round to be honest. It all works well (side sync and throw to my samsung UHD TV works a treat).
Ok, perhaps it would be a change of pace having a smaller screen but.... I really hope they offer this tablet in 32 or 64gb (128, yeah right) this time and kill 16gb once and for all.
No tablet should have 16gb in 2015. I paid extra to buy the 32gb 10.5S just on principle.
Here are some leaked specs....rumored.
http://www.sammobile.com/2015/02/19...y-tab-s-2-8-inch-and-9-7-inch-specifications/
I think 4:3 would be an improvement. As some others have said, 16:10 is good for movies. For everything else 4:3 is better.
I think I'd actually prefer 3:2, but either that or 4:3 would make me upgrade from my Tab Pro 10.1. I can't really get used to 16:10, it only feels right when watching movies.
I felt the same way. I would absolutely positively never use a device with 4:3 aspect ratio.
Then I got a nexus 9. Figured I would hate it. But I found that movies were actually fine on it. It is more a psychological thing about unused screen space I think, because I found it no more distracting than 2.35:1 aspect ratio on 16:9.
But what made me really love it was having books, magazines, textbooks and comic books fill the screen completely. Very comfortable if one does a lot of reading.
And the strangest thing: I found myself surfing the web in portrait! Caught myself one day... though...whoa...when did I start doing that? Didn't even think about it. Its strange but 4:3 makes a web page feel like you are reading a book.
As a disclaimer, before someone gets on my case for daring to mention the nexus 9 on a Tab S forum: I own a Tab S 8.4 and a Tab S 10.5 so I do have a basis for comparison.
And for what its worth, I still watch most movies on the Tab S because the Amoled screen is unparalleled for movie watching.
A new 4:3 Tab S with Amoled I think I would be a remarkably versatile tablet and in retrospect I think I would be fine with the idea.
I disagree. Tablets are more for media consumption than anything else and 16:9 is the standard so anything closer to that would be better for me. I owned ipads and would upgrade every year up until the ipad air with I owned for a week and returned it. The black bars watching movies made the 9.7" screen feel a little bigger than my note 3! Switched to a note 10.1 2014 and it was so much more immersive because the video occupied more of the screen. On flights all the ipad people I sit beside usually ask about my tablet and the fact that the video looks so much bigger on my device than theirs, so I'm hoping the new device will be 16:10 and include an SPen, as it is so much more useful on a tablet than on a note device.

Regarding comics, the resolution used by Comixology digital comics is 1988 x 3056 which is quite a bit closer to 16:10 than 4:3.
The thing with movies is depends on the software you can just zoom in and fill up the screen. Sure you are not getting the whole movie frame and not seeing the movie as the director intended, but nobody intended you to watch their movies on a little phone or tablet either [emoji20]
on the other hand, with non movies stuff things feel more proportional on a 4:3 screen. If you're browsing the web, in landscape you have wide space horizontally that may be unused and at the same time you see less of a page vertically and have to scroll down more to read. In portrait it's too narrow and text maybe too small.
With apps like Gmail or tapatalk where you have a split pane in landscape mode, again it is too wide horizontally so the space is a bit wasted but too short vertically so you see fewer messages. In portrait mode, split pane is just too narrow and awkward so they end up using a pull out drawer design instead. Thus you have basically turned your tablet into a giant phone. Take the on screen keyboard. On the 4:3 screen, it has roughly square keys like a real keyboard, as opposed to rectangular keys like the infamous chiclet keyboard on the IBM junior. (In dating myself lol)
When I moved from iPad to android tablet first thing I noticed was most apps are just phone apps on a big screen and not really taking advantage of a large screen. I think 16:10 has something to do with it. If you look at lollipop, Google didn't even bother to do anything different on tablet. The settings app for example doesn't even fill up the screen.
Of course a great deal depends on your use mix, but I think some people just reflexively hate 4:3 because Apple uses it and they haven't had much experience with it.
I'm going yikes at the choice of the 5433. My feeling was always that we got shortchanged in getting a 5420 after SGS5 released with a newer version. I can see myself passing to wait for a Snapdragon 810/Exynos 7420 processor so that my tablet is not outclassed by my phone.
As to the 4:3 vs 16:9, I'll try anything once. Sadly, post Nexus 9, I can see a world where 16:9 tablets cease to exist (apple has a majority of the tablet market in the 4:3 factor so other than Google's insistance, as a competitor, that's the way the world will work.
I got a Dell Venue 7840 (because I will try anything once). I can feel the speed bump. It doesn't impress me otherwise relative to the Tab S (screen is same to slightly worse, dimensions are within 10% on thickness and 2% of length/width and it weighs more. Post having that and playing at the store with a Nexus 9, I feel like samsung could take the tab s, do nothing but replace the processor and have a 2015 flagship.
My concern is that the rumor mill says the battery will be only 3800mah. My T705 has 4600. Battery efficiencies are always improving, so Samsung should be striving for as big a battery as possible, not just rely on newer chips and a lower resolution screen to save power. Better, bigger batteries are super important for all mobile devices. Just getting by is a mistake. Do you get that Samsung?

I sure am hoping the Tab S 2 leaked specs are indeed just made up for clickbait! The screen - the one outstanding feature of the original Tab S and the main reason people (inc. me) bought it - sounds like it will be far worse. It will be shrunk, have a worse resolution and a 100% media-hostile 4:3 aspect ratio.
Having used my Tab S (with CyanogenMod of course) for a while now, I'm convinced that the quality of the screen is the most important aspect of a tablet (far more so than CPU/GPU/RAM specs) and if Samsung make the screen worse like the leaks claim, then they're not onto a winner in my books.

I've learned not to pay leaks any mind especially when it comes to samsung. They've hurt a lot of feelings over the years with expectations. They know they hit a hr with the tab s display it would be a shame and a death sentence to lose a products main feature.

Nexus 6 vs Nexus 5X

So I ordered a Nexus 6 for $300 brand new on eBay. I am intrigued by the Nexus 5X as well.
So here's why I think where the Nexus 6 is better than the 5X:
QHD Screen, Dual Front Facing Speakers, OIS in the camera, more RAM.
Here is where I think the 5X is better than the 6:
Better form factor, better processor, fingerprint scanner/Nexus Imprint, better camera (even though no OIS), and better front facing camera.
Now, here is what I prefer, the features like the fingerprint scanner, camera, and better processor.
Here is what gets me though, less RAM means less quality performance, the price for a 32 GB is over $150 more, and the Nexus 5X needs Type C to Type A to be utilized on my MacBook.
So is it worth it for me to get the 5X? I am a little bit budget conscious, but could get the 5X. I have the 6S+ as my daily driver, but want a Nexus device as my main android device. The Nexus software is good and will pair up nicely with my Moto 360. Suggestions?
I wouldn't say that the 808 is a better processor than the 805. The 64bit aspect is more marketing than practical, since you don't actually use a phone for tasks that benefit from 64bit. Those tasks are handled by dedicated hardware blocks. So what the 808 has, are 4 *weak* A53's, and 2 *power hungry* A57's. The 805 has 4 *strong/fast and power efficient* Krait 450's.
In fact, the 805 has been put against the 810 and actually came out VERY strong. In many cases, exceeding the 810.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/snapdragon-810-benchmarks,4053.html
*** note that in that article, it is important for you to recognize TWO very important facts about the tests;
1) They are comparing an MDP810/t (development tablet with massive internal heat dispersion plates) to a Nexus 6,
2) The Nexus 6 is running factory on-CPU full disk encryption, whereas the 810 is using special crypto instructions.
Both of those facts are to the benefit of the SD810, yet the only conclusion possible given the outcome, is that even WITH those points hurting the 805, it is still holding up against the 810.
And the 808? Basically just cut off two cores from the 810 and call it an 808.
As far as the rest of your points comparing the two phones...
1) The 5x has a MUCH better screen. While it is true that the claimed resolution is lower, the Nexus 6 has an RGBG AMOLED, which cheats on the resolution (it is only full resolution in GREEN, red and blue are only 2560x720). The differences are pretty obvious under a magnifying glass. The 5x, while only 1080x1920, is an HONEST 1080x1920. I would go so far as to say that I would choose a 6 inch 1080x1920 over this. And its not just about the visible artifacts, which yes, *are* hard to see.. but half the number of pixels to drive, the graphics *performance* will be a lot higher with the lower resolution screen.
2) Speakers... Nexus 6 speakers suck real bad as loudspeakers. As a headset, its fine (i.e., at lower volume pressed against your ear). The second speaker on the front is really quite pointless.
3) OIS? I can't tell the difference. It still blurs when you shake it during a picture.
4) More ram... yep, it does have a bit more ram, but, android knows how to manage ram very well, so you really shouldn't be able to tell a difference in device performance. Realistically, anything over 1 GB is adequate. Anything over 2 is just marketing fluff. At least for now.
5) 5x better form factor.... its the same form factor, rectangle. Maybe you are referring to the size?
6) 5x better proc... nope, as already discussed.
7) fingerprint scanner? Well, that may be useful for people with clean smooth soft fingers, but for the rest of us, fingerprint scanning is more trouble than its worth.
8) I don't get it with phone cameras. This race to super megapixels is idiotic when the two adjacent pixels bleed into each other. Phone cameras suck. All of them. We have a fairly cheap point and shoot digital camera, but through sheer lazyness, my wife got into the habit of using the phone. Couple of weeks ago she picked up the cheap point and shoot, and was blown away by how good the pictures were that came from it. Seriously... phone cameras ALL SUCK. There is nothing you can do to overcome the physical limitations when dealing with having to maintain a THIN phone. You just don't have the space to put in a decent lens. Every new phone that you get has claims of having a better camera than the last phone, yet phone after phone, I still can't tell the difference, they still suck.
9) USB type C. Yeah, it is kind of expected that during this period of transition, you will end up needing to get the cables that connect from the old to the new. The good news though, is that you don't need expensive powered converter boxes, its just a matter of the plug itself. Eventually, you are going to have to pick the first device to upgrade to the new plugs.
Here is my take on this;
I own a Nexus 6, and while it is a bit bigger than I like, I would NOT buy a 5x or a 6p. Neither offers a substantial benefit over what I already have. If they were a little bit more substantial, like having the snapdragon 620 and 820 like rumors and logic suggested, then they would be very tempting, but even then, its hard to say. I'm kind of glad that they didn't make them with the new chips though, since that temptation to upgrade now doesn't exist, so I can happily wait until next year and get something that is *actually* better than what I have now.
And I tell you, snapdragon 820 is really going to be something.

OnePlus 5 Specifications
Snapdragon 835 (2.45 GHz)
5.5-inch 1080p DCI-P3 screen
3.300 mAh battery
6GB/8GB RAM LPDDR4X
64 GB/128 GB UFS 2.1 storage
0.2-second fast fingerprint reader
dual camera (20 MP f/2.6 and 16 MP f/1.7)
Bluetooth 5.0, LTE Cat 12
Price: US$ 479
The dimensions should be fairly similar to 3T and Oppo R11.
1080p OLED screen + Extremely efficient 10nm SD835 + 3300 mAh => thats a great combination (on paper) for a device with great SoT/Battery-life.
If we are to take cues from the Oppo R11 reviews the camera setup looks exactly the same as R11 where the second camera is a telephoto lens for 2x zoom and portrait bokeh purposes. If they score 89-90 on DxO mark this is going to be one of the best cameras on a smartphone for 2017.
With the exception of a faster processor, more storage and dual cameras, doesn't really appear too different from the 3T.
This video explains the design of the Oneplus 5 and why oneplus probably went in the direction where they took best design elements out of 3T and marry that to the iPhone 7s design. The reasoning behind the placement of dual cameras and the odd antenna lines on the top seems to make sense.

My take on the design... It's most likely going into a case or getting a skin slapped onto it, which will help differentiate the phones. Then there is also the fact that the iPhone 7 is a good looking phone...and it feels good in the hand.
I'm excited for the phone. No doubts about getting it. I already know the first thing I'm going to do with it... Take pictures of my Nexus 6P and post it on Swappa.

Still a a rumor, needs to be confirmed by an official Google Statement.
On the one hand it totally looks like a Oppo R11 twin with more powerful specs http://winfuture.mobi/bild/1497443227
But maybe there are some differences. Oneplus 3t is smaller than Oppo R11 and Oneplus published this picture which indicates IMO that Oneplus 5 is smaller than 3T.

If OP5 would be even marginally narrower than 3T it would be a big selling point in my opinion.

That picture doesn't have the dual cameras so I doubt it's a Oneplus 5.

If only I can ditch my 6P & use the OP5 on Verizon. This would probably be the only reason I don't get one, is the fact it wouldn't be Verizon compatible.
Other than that, I've always wanted to try one. There is a slight chance of going to Tmobile, then I'm sure there's no issues there.

Uh yes, with the exception of the faster and more efficient processor, larger and faster storage, and superior cameras, it's essentially the same phone.
Any guesses as to the price of the 128 version? Is it like a flat 100 extra? The no SD card will be a first for me since I've had Android (2008) so I'm a little annoyed with having to use an OTG drive or whatever else. I would be much more comfortable with the 128gb version unless it's close to 600.

A guy I work with is thinking about the U11, because Verizon/AT&T doesn't work at his house. I personally use StraightTalk with a Verizon sim. If I need to, I'll just get a new SIM card and stick it in. I just hope it will still be available on the 23rd, as thats when I get paid.
such a waste on specs
1080p no led? > so 2010
dual camera ? > use a charl zeis 41mp best mobile camera ever, if nokia ever with those huawei and even iphone cameras get trashed
i had high hopes because i saw they atleast gotten a 5.5" led screen but you say its a lcd
and seriously these features are worth nothing, dual camera for what ? its not like it is more professional it shows how idiotic people can be to have dual cameras in a phone to take a picture or selfies
sorry il wait for nokia and its charl zeis camera, no one beats those as far as i know
Get a look at the pre-order

So costly at $599! I hope they make some adjustments!
And also, the 128GB variant should be with 8GB RAM, right?
How come this thread says $479 and the post says $449?

They aren't really releasing their next iteration without at least Quad HD Display, are they?

Probably trying to cut costs to a bare minimum, looks like they're trying to spin it with an accurate colour space but a massive mistake. A crazy move.
