It all works don't worry. At least if it works in razr-qcom's source it works.
BTW: I'm Bytecode, just have a different username on XDA.

Sounds good I am glad the camera/camcorder issues got sorted out for us recently. Noticed any screen tearing?

i was hoping someone would bring aokp to this phone

Ok, backing up my barebones install now, will try this in the next hour and report back

Loaded up newest build and running extremely smooth. Just one question. I looked through files and couldn't find the .etc folder. Is it hiding in a different spot on this ROM or do I need to add init.d support to it? Thanks for bringing this to the M Byte.

Ok, got it up and running. Def. still have the screen tearing issues I have had on other ROMs, but it goes away with 'Disable HW Overlays' checked.
Not my cup of tea so far, but thank you for all the work Bytecode, I am sure this will make a lot of people happy.

Ok, thanks, I'll search harder. I must be missing it. I figured it had init.d support.
I'm not seeing any of this screen tearing, and the swag is nice.

Just popping by to say hello and thanks for your work. My gf picked up an M yesterday and today says to me "get all this motorola crap off my phone" so obviously I obliged. Being a huge AOKP fan and using it on my Bionic and my N7 (that my gf uses and likes) I went looking for AOKP for the M and found this thread. I unlocked bootloader (obviously), installed TWRP 2.5 and then your AOKP rom. After I got it mostly setup I gave to her to customize to her liking and she is much more happy with it.
From what I saw while getting the basics setup for her it runs smoothly and I had not found anything that did not work. The only thing I have noticed is when waking it up there is a "colorful fuzz" much like the old analog tv snow (but colorful) for a split second before the lockscreen appears.. this also happens when booting just before the nexus "X" bootscreen.
It has only been a few hours but she is a phone junkie so if there are bugs/issues she WILL find them lol. I will relay any issues on to you.

Please tell me if you do find any, AFAIK razrqcom-dev-team's source is a little screwy right now so the ROM might be a bit force-close-y. Nothing I can do to make it more stable until they patch the source.

Misc. Notes
This is pretty polished, here is what has changed since the last time the 926 folks got this Rom.
- UI look has been changed to reflect the newest RemICS
- Redundant apps have been removed
- Rom is smaller in general, and uses less resources than previous build.

Awesome job with everything btw. You're amazing.
Quick question though, why not use 10.1 as a base instead? I thought 10 is not under active development by epinter?

Not included because on the other devices I dev for some folks prefer to flash the Hellybean G-apps because of the nice look, but they can't be auto-updated like native G-apps. : p
I made this Rom with the bare minimum in regards to G-apps and tweaks because that will cause less conflicts in general and people can customize it to suit their own preference since I probably will not be touching it again with the exception of CM10 updates itself.
Will the 10.1 still be the "preview" or will it be newer? Lik alpha or beta?

Mirror - Dev Host
Apologies for anyone having slow download speeds on Mega.co.nz. I will be looking into this.
Future Enhancements: As this is only an early stage at the moment, I am now going to be working on merging Root, Custom Recoveries and Locking and Unlocking the Bootloader all from the same file which will of course take some time to build. If you have any more idea's or would like to see something be added then please feel free PM me.
I want to make you all aware that this is my first post in the Nexus 4 Section and I'm also working on the same installer for the Google Nexus 7(which is broken at the moment!) and the Galaxy Nexus found here, which will both have the same enhancements in the near future as the Nexus 4 Installer. Thanks for viewing and I hope you find this little tool helpful.
Changelog. (Updated 28/02/13 @ 01:32AM GMT)
Please note: I do NOT own a Nexus 4 or a Nexus 10 (when the N10 Installer is released that is) so I depend on user feedback to know what has gone wrong!
27/2/13 - Version 1.0 - First Release:
Installs Android 4.2.2 as STOCK ONLY ROM
Version 1.2 - To Be Confirmed.
- Add Root/Busybox and to be able to Root/Busybox after installation of Android 4.2.2.
- Enable flashing of CWM
- install .apk's to device
- and much more!!
FUTURE VERSIONS:
- Graphical User Interface: Cause I know you want it right?!
Updates for other Nexus Installers:
Samsung/Google Nexus 10 - Not Released.
ASUSTek/Google Nexus 7 - Broken! - From running the installer myself, I found out the installer changed my 16GB Nexus 7 into an 8GB Nexus 7 so I will not be releasing the Nexus 7 Installer until further notice.
Samsung/Google Galaxy Nexus - Released as of 17/02/13 - Version 1.0: Here

Has anyone reported issues with Bluetooth audio? When I try to stream audio via Bluetooth my phone locks up for several seconds then restarts back to the M logo, and I have to hard reset it to get back into the ROM. (I'm still on a daily from a few days ago if that is relevant.)

Where do you get the vanquishkitties kernel? Or for that matter the other kernels that get mentioned? I installed what I thought was the latest vanquishkitties and suddenly my phone thought it was an XT926! Fortunately, I could get back into the bootloader and fix it.

Over on Droidrzr.com is Code Kernel... Or vanquish kitties... It is built for the 926 but all msm8960 moto devices will work with it... Also, arrrghhh has a kernel here on xda. Both will work fine...

I mean my PC reported my phone as an XT926. Also, when my phone booted, I had no touch screen capabilities. This was using the latest AOKP Version 7/10 and kang_vanquish_2013-07-11.zip

Say no more. I obviously had a bad link. That's why I've posted a request in Q&A for kernel links.

Thanks a lot!
Had some trouble with my wifi but now it's running and i gotta say it's pretty good. The only thing i noticed until now is the recents button being a little unresponsive and taking its time to show the recents.

coming from another CM rom it SHOULD be fine...but if you question doing it, the correct answer is to always do a full wipe
I just flashed over a previous nightly. Working fine so far. Thanks for the build!

I recommend it because I've had problems before due to dirty flashing....
Hi, I'm running this ROM for about 24 hours and it is definitely fast and smooth. No issues to report yet. Great job.
My advice would be to keep the ROM lean and light like it is now, possibly even leaner.
I think when new ROMs come out, they start to get bloated with useless things/"features" with every version.
I like how this ROM is nice and basic and fast, comes with Franco kernel which is my favorite.

[ROM][E6653] Slim Stock 32.0.A.6.200

I thought i'd upload the rom that i've been using for the past 2 months for everybody else to try since I'm getting such good performance out of this, i'll add more to this description later.
Based on 32.0.A.6.200
Features -
Odexed for reliability and performance
Rooted
Busybox
TWRP v3.0.0-0
DRM fix
Call Recording
Google/Sony apps updated
Heavily debloated
many more things that i can't remember
A data wipe is recommended but I have left it up to the user, the updater script only cleans Dalvik/art cache from /data
Obviously if you have any problems, don't post here unless you have wiped data.
This Rom includes the kernel from my previous thread, so any questions related to TWRP or the kernel can go here please.
I have only tested this Rom by flashing it with the TWRP version from my kernel. So if you have any trouble installing this please flash that first from my other thread then flash the Rom again

Thanks to @tobias.waldvogel for the DRM fix that i've bundled with this Rom.
I made an account on Mega a few hours ago, it seems to be reliable from what I've seen.
Let me know if you are having any trouble downloading.
Thanks, i will try
But, what's the difference between ROMAura and this one ?

No. You will brick your device. Why on Earth would you think that a ROM released for the Z5 would work on the Z2?

I flashed Xposed for you to try and it did boot, the camera works since I updated the apk.
It seems to be working but you'll have to try it out properly, I left the rom Odexed as I didn't plan on using Xposed with it.

You say you've been using this for approx 2 months. Have you noticed any differences compared to stock? How is the battery life? Any significant kernel tweaks?
Thanks again!

I have been getting better battery life. But that's because I heavily debloated it and tested for a month or two to make sure there are no bugs.
The kernel is completely stock, just with TWRP added, I'm hoping this will be useful to new users as they can root and debloat their devices very quickly and easily.
I did try v9 and v10 of androplus's kernel, and got great performance. So if you want to do some tweaking try that

I tested it for a few hours, maybe not long enough.
But I noticed all 8 cores stayed on whatever settings I had set for thunderplug, the only time they went off was when the screen went off.
Can you confirm this? Or was it just my setup.

as you can see in changelog (https://kernel.andro.plus/kitakami_r2.html), load balancer is default mode you just have to run:
Code:
echo "1" > /sys/kernel/thunderplug/hotplug_style
PS: i use smmanager (playstore) to autorun this cmd on startup ...
PS2: you can edit setting in Kernel Adiutor when hotplug activated...
