[Q] N7 outdated? - Nexus 7 General

Hi, sorry for the question, im from Argentina and i would like to know if the n7 still alive?
Enviado desde mi Transformer usando Tapatalk 2

nexus devices never die on the development basis. you can always find great roms and kernels with awesome support on nexus devices, not only nexus 7.

Hell, the nexus one still has an active Dev community, this device will get official/unofficial support for years to come , simply because millions of them exist

Just be wary. The N7 seems to be having a spotty time of things in terms of long-term sustainability/performance.

Could you point me towards a legal official source that days phone manufacturers are obliged with a legal obligation to update software providing exact date/time etc of update even it so was the case?
Think before you speak
Pressing the thanks button requires just few seconds and a heart n mind that feels satisfied
---------- Post added at 03:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:41 PM ----------
Kindly use the JB sticky thread in the general section guys

18 months is a good policy but should be more clear for example lets say i have a samsung phone with 2.3.3 which i got 16 months ago , this policy means samsung has to give me jb or can samsung say i will upgrade it to the latest 2.3.x only or now its 16 months old and samsung choose not to release a jb update for this phone in 2 months time, after that can samsung be able say ok 18 months is over no update for this anymore.

I'm SICK of waiting! !!!!
Had it on my nexus. Its what ics should of been. Its light years better. The ask google app is 100%blows the iphone away. Its so smooth. I love my note and its functuality so my nexus gathers dust even though the os wipes this. They must have had the int. Carrier free version for this just sat there for months . That makes me grrrrrr!

Samsung is pissing me off. So i am sure next time i am moving to LG or sony. When i have to wait for the updates i can do it with other products. atleast i will get rid of their cheap plastic by doing that.
