You need set correct permission.

I get an error message saying that home.apk is a read-only system file, any ideas what's going on? my device is rooted

Will this work on .253 firmware odexed?
I can try, but don't know what to do if it messes up stuff.

(Mod) Xperia Z Statusbar

Hi.
I`m coming from the ZL Forum and I have made some Mod`s for the ZL.
Someone asks me to make a Statusbar Mod for the Z .
So, here it is.

NEW
After asking of some User of different Sony Devices,if i can Mod their Status/Navbar, i think i do two Mod`s for all Xperia Devices since ICS to Now.
These two Mods are only for the Statusbar Icons,the Sony Logo in the Navbar and the Drop Down Background of the Notification.
This Background is for All Sony Devices. there is no Device Name.
The Status/Navbar Background is Stock. If you want an other Background Color , you must change the Statusbar and than Flash my Mod.

I have the jb systemUI of the Xperia T.
I hope this works with the Xperia V ,too.
This evening i make the new status/navbar for your V

How did you get the Sony emblem to replace the home icon? And can you add the locksceeen mod you made for the ZL please

I have stock 434, and use XZRecovery to flash Right now I use the ZL mod, because I made a request for the Z mod

Rom based on stock .402 rooted & deodexed required.
It works fine.

And yeah, I figured out the problem was that I had recently restored from a Nandroid that wasn't deOdexed. Planning on trying it again sometime soon.

Unfortunately, no.
I'm waiting root on LB just to finally deodex firmware, root it and start building themes and mods for Z1.
All my themes are working on Z2 as well but I can't use it...what an irony

Workaround, use stock be_movie_spc and move it to system/etc change permissions and reboot.

I installed both files and I found change in lockscreen transition. Please list out features of this mod. If possible share some screen shots pls.

It is not working at all. Replacing with the stock setting.apk just makes battery settings open but when you enable stamina mode from settings/ quick settings tile, the systemui starts crashing constantly. I reverted back to stock systemui.
@XpRoPhEtX2015, bro please fix this. I really love this mod.
