[ROM][Halo][FK] Stock Stable CyanogenMod 10.1.2 with Halo [20130714] - Nexus 4 Android Development

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
I wanted a ROM as Stock as possible with Halo from Paranoid Android, so I started this project for my own and decided to share results with you all. What you get is the latest rock-solid Stable version of CyanogenMod (10.1.2) with no extra additions, except for Halo from ParanoidAndroid and FrancoKernel r163.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
My additions are available in my GitHub repositories. Please visit github.com/UgoRaffaele/android/ for detailed instructions to build this ROM.
Special thanks to franciscofranco for his marvelous FrancoKernel.
Please report any bug in this thread.

* CM 10.1.2
* New Halo
Original post on my website: CyanogenMod 10.1 + Halo

I do not own a Nexus 4, but still I want Halo and CyanogenMod 10.1! What can I do?
Build for all CM 10.1 Supported Devices
To get started with Android/CyanogenMod, you'll need to get familiar with Git and Repo. Follow CyanogenMod Build Guides to setup your Build Environment till the initialization of the source repositories.
Then, to initialize your local repository using the CyanogenMod modified trees (with Halo), use a command like this:
Code:
repo init -u git://github.com/UgoRaffaele/android.git -b cm-10.1
Sync up:
Code:
repo sync
You will get the latest CM Stable (10.1.2) sources, then you can follow the rest of the Build Guide. Have fun!
Requested from users - I'm looking for builders or other developers to build for the following devices:
HTC One (m7ul)
Samsung Galaxy S (galaxysmtd)
Other devices:
Galaxy Nexus (maguro)

I'll check once my University exams will be over and PG will be more stable Anyway, since I don't have much time to follow/pick every commit (I also work in a IT company), I honestly don't know.
I much prefer to apply changes to Stable-quality versions only.

understand. The latest nightly is pretty stable IMO and it adds the camera tile and privacy gaurd settings. it's the reason i left halo, would be great to have all in 1.

Great! Was searching how to do this and found the thread.
Could anybody give me a clear guide on how to merge this commit into my current CM-building environment? Because setting that up was a pain but also great fun!
So could anybody please post a little bit of a guide on how to merge this and other commits?
Thanks and appreciate your work man!

If coming from CM10.1 stable build to your build with Franko kernel should we do a full wipe or just cache?

@Morpheus90 thanks for your amazing work!

He refers to this commit: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/e49288d5b13f33172eadd068d1ef1eb89295f78f
Quoting Koush, now "ordered broadcasts are delivered to system apps first in the event of a tie". It's made to prevent non-sistem apps from stealing datas from or non-sending text messages.
It's a really useful mod, I think I'll merge it asap.

[ROM][CM10.2][4.3][JLS][KANG][HALO 2.0][OpenPDroid][9/30/2013] *DJL source*

Hello all! I want to introduce my first ROM that I built from github and the repos. It is my first time building from source, so I am happy about it . Some of you may know who I am from the MyTouch 4G thread, since I ported ROMs on there (you know who you all are).
First off, I want to give a huge thanks to @DJLamontagneIII for helping me with all my problems and allowing me to use his repos for this ROM. And for letting me post this. This whole ROM is made from his repos, but it is for the Nexus 7 (Flo), but I have brought it over for the Nexus 4 (Mako)!
Other thanks go out to CyanogenMod (and team), @klvnhng for his guide, @inffy for his guide, @obtained, @TheDarkDefender, @Cristiano Matos, @Der_Schubi, and whoever else I forgot
Check out @DJLamontagneIII's ROM for the Flo here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391779
*No Linaro, as I don't know how to build with it yet. I believe it's placebo, so I probably will not include it.
Now I want this ROM to be about you all too! So if you want cherry picks to be made, just tell me by replying to this thread, and I will consider adding it. Be sure that it is a good pick, e.g. a cool feature or improvement. I will pick what I see is good as well. It does not have to be from Cyanogen's gerrit, but from a github repo as well. For the github repo, it need's to be cm10.2 based or I will not do it. I may not be able to merge it, but I will do my best.

so...I am back, and this time, the ROM built successfully! but, I need testing on it. if all is well, I will update the OP
I just synced DJL's github and added couple of picks from the cm gerrit for vendor/cm. it's to resolve those deep sleep problems i've been reading about. idk if it worked, but that's why you guys can test
so you know the drill. backup, backup, and BACKUP! I am not responsible to what happens. i'm sure everything will be alright though.
http://d-h.st/p97
thanks :good:
Works nicely so far. I will keep an eye on the deep sleep.
Once again, I am having trouble building from source. I have no clue when another build will arrive. I may have to wait for the dev to fix up some code. Luckily, this ROM is interchangeable, meaning you can flash crDroid on top of this and it will not ruin anything! that's the good part about having cm10.2 as base
first of all, I want to thank those who tested out the test ROM that I posted earlier and replied. @AcmE85, thank you
next...I was able to build successfully! so a new build will be up soon
I will also update the first post

Here a little show of Nameless ROM for Sony Xperia Z a.k.a Yuga by my awesome friend @infected_
Wow this looks really good.
Do AOSP ROMs have better battery life than Stock-based ROMs (e.g. Existenz v5)
Great to see some new top class Dev's supporting XZ:thumbup:
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
awesome rom! quick question though is this rom using the 4.3 blobs and is the driver that fires wake locks fixed
No wake locks yet.
Very impressed so far.
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
This rom is pretty smooth, fast, and stable. So far no notable bugs which is great. However, Android OS is still first on my battery usage history. I would love to see some more settings like changing the navigation bar size, listview animations, centered clock, and custom carrier label. But that kind of stuff doesn't take away too much from the experience as a whole and this rom is probably my DD for now. Keep up the great work!
Edit: There is audio stutter and distortion when playing music but this seems to be a common issue throughout most 4.4 roms.
@herna
This should help you fixing the audio stutter bug.

The owner of that host server has just say me to wait a little.
"it's normal
don't worry
it takes up to 30 minutes to update the links"
So maybe we need to wait a little for it

Don't worry. The site may take up to 30 minutes to update links. This is due to it being a beta site. Our launch site will not require a wait to see files. :good:
Sorry for any inconvenience while we update our beta site!

Introduction
This is ROM is built from Omni sources, but I cherry-picked (added manually) HALO from paranoid sources. This is my first ROM that I've every built so don't expect it to work perfectly.
Please read the FAQ and Known Issues sections before complaining about anything. DO NOT ask for ETAs (I will smite you if you do)

Known Issues
Active Display causes SystemUI FC. DO NOT activate it or you will have to wipe data
Halo disappears from the screen completely when hidden (There is an option to disable that, but not in this build. Working on it)
Halo is a bit buggy when rotating the screen. Just disable and enable it from the notification drawer.
Multiwindow is still quite buggy, but that's not my fault. Blame team Omni for not finishing it

Congrats on your great work @paxy97
Just want to check how's the battery life on your home-version. I'm using walter79's and very happy with stability and battery.
You mention also in the bugs section that Active Display crashes?? I'm having no issues at the moment, and I really like this feature.
Any clue why it doesn't work on yours? If this is the case, not sure if I should change or maybe wait a bit.
Also, how is it with the Bluetooth issue? Still ongoing?
Anyway, I thank you for the hard work and the effort you are putting into this... keep it up.
:good:

Hm strange, when I flashed this ROM and enabled active display systemUI started crashing and I could do anything except boot to recovery and wipe data :/. Also while I was fixing some issues in the code I noticed that a lot of them came from active display conflicts.
I don't know about bluetooth, but I assume it's still bugged since my build is pretty much omni from source. I haven't changed anything regarding bluetooth.
I will ... until july 22nd, because I'm going on vacation for 3 weeks
For old cm themes. there are 9 commits: https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/c/2790/ #mGerrit
https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/q/status:abandoned,n,z
I'm sorry to say that I probably will not be able to make a CM version, because CM code is too different from Paranoid and I get too many errors that can only be solved by rewriting most of the statusbar and notificationService code (which I have neither the time, not the knowlege for). Sorry again, going back to dirty unicorn porting
Don't sweat over it, I assure you your efforts are highly appreciated.
Thank you for your work and please, keep it up!

I am , my pc has been running 48h straight downloading and building. Now I downloading dirty unicorn sources again, because I messed up the last ones. Hopefully I'll at least get that to build. Should not be too difficult though. It's based on pure omni, so I'll just add our device tree from omni's github and use walter personal github for the kernel, which is amazing btw . So hopefully in about 15h you'll have a build if it runs without any errors
New build coming coming soon (today or tomorrow, depends if it builds and uploads before I go to sleep).
Features:
- walter's personal kernel sources (the ones he uses for homemade builds)
- Omni's multiwindow (it's EXTREMELY unstable. It's still under review on gerrit)
- Omni changes so far
* Theme manager is still giving me a lot of errors so sadly no build with it yet

Yeah, it's much better than active display. Not buggy and doesn't consume as much battery.
Damn it. I just got up, looked at my PC and realised that it failed to build because I'm out of HDD space -.-. I had 30gb free didn't expect it to use that much. Anyway uploading the build when I come home from school

[ROM][SPROUT][6.0.1] Zeus-ROM | Build 05 [23/05/2016]

Zeus ROM is a free, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), which is designed to give extra features, increased performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
/*
*
*/
Zeus ROM is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (Gapps). Zeus ROM does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for Zeus ROM is available in the Zeus ROM's Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Zeus ROM then fork our repos and start making pull requests.

Screenshoot for features??
Don't you think @Swapnil Solanki that screenshots and features of ROM should be provided? *_*
I was flashing this recently. Tested on Evercoss A65 (sprout 8)
this ROM was an CM13-based ROM with a change that you can see on my attached screenshot.
My experience for now? Is smooth enough and you can use this ROM for daily driver

Yes, it supports but currently CM Theme Engine is unstable so not every CM 13 theme works.
Perfect.. Thanks
Now had used for about 6 hours. And there are no ui lags, no deep sleep problem. Everything working perfectly. Good for daily use.
Edit update. (After almost 2nd day use)
Battery backup not so good. It is draining very fast. Charged 5th time today. 3g draining battery very fast. No other problems so far.
Edit built 3 review:
Fixed almost major issues. And it is good to use now. The fact that u include viper audio makes it more awesome. I loved the changes you made in camera too. Just perfect.
