I had been searching for a screen protector that covers even the curved edges of the Note II screen, offers best clarity and best protection. Heard a lot about gadgetshieldz being very good .Having personally used it for my brother’s iPhone 4s I thought that I’d give it another try. And now that I have installed it, I can vouch for the fact that indeed it’s a great protector to have for the Note II. I couldn't find a review of gadgetshieldz for the Note II. Thought I should post a short review with a few pictures.
Okay, so first of all living in India things like an SGP case is really hard to come by or really expensive. I got to say that gadgetshieldz is really by far the best and cheapest option that offers this kind of protection. Another thing being gadgetshieldz operates in India and offers free home delivery. The thing arrived pretty quick too, in about 2 days. For all the Indian members interested in purchasing this you can head over to this page.International users can head over to www.gadgetshieldz.com. You get 3 options basically: 1) Screen Protection 2)Body Protection 3)Maximum Protection. A thing with the Note II is that after some use, the silver bezel starts to wear out. So I obviously went in for the maximum protection.
I should warn you though that this is a WET install. A very cool thing about this is that has a perfect cutout for the proximity, light sensor, front cam, speaker grill & the home button. All the cuts are precise. It also comes in some pretty neat packaging which gives it sort of premium and high quality feel. All the instructions of application are given pretty well, so there shouldn't be a problem in the application. On application if there are any bubbles formed, you can flatten them out with a credit card or something of the sort. As for the small bubbles, they should disappear with time. The front and back side were pretty easy to install. The sides being curved were a pain in the A$$ though.
The screen protector looks fabulous on both, the screen and the body. The clarity is awesome and does not compromise the display. In fact it's very hard to notice that there is a screen protector on.With the protection on the sides and back, you can say goodbye to any more scratches.
Please hit the Thanks button if you liked the review.

Thanks mate! I really like the cut of this sp and I don't mind a wet install.

Carbon Fiber Ghost Armor

So I was originally going to just get the screen protected, but since the guy was totally unprofessional at the local mall on the first attempt of the sale I contacted Ghost Armor and explained what had happened and they gave me 25% off so I splurged on the full armor.
My review:
The screen protector is very slick. Hardly any tackiness. I think there is a slight tint to the display, but nothing too drastic. I would say the orange peel is minimal for a durable protector. The two main things I look for on a screen protector specifically for a full touchscreen is the tackiness and smudging. This is very good on both. Slick swiping and smudges remove very easily.
Now many people are probably familiar with their brand of screen protectors, but many might not be too familiar with the carbon fiber body armor. I don't know if its a local thing as I live in Phoenix and Ghost Armor is located in Mesa, AZ, but I have yet to see it as an option on their website for the Nexus S. The main pitch the sales rep threw at me was that the matting would give me a little more texture for grip. There was a sample for looks, and it had a little texture to it. After being installed it is rather slick to the touch. Another thing I was worried about was the skin being applied with the Nexus S curves. After seeing the headache my mom had with Ghost Armor on her Palm Pre I was skeptical. I can say after a week of in the pocket the corners have held down very well. There is also a thin band that runs between the volume rocker/power button and the screen to give it a full complete look. It does look rather appealing in the end.
There is an added cost for the carbon fiber armor. I believe it is an additional $10. If you are looking for a more aesthetic appearance besides the normal clear armor and are willing to spend a few extra dollars, I think you will be satisfied. Other than the slick feel at first touch, but after being handled it does seem to settle once the phone is warmed by the hands.

Thought I would also post my Carbon Fiber keyboard too for fun.
I hope someone finds this useful as I didn't see anything for this product (especially pictures) in the forums when I was looking into it for my Nexus.

I pretty much had the exact same carbon fiber skin for my nexus s from zagg. At first, I thought it was awesome and all but after a while it loses its appearance. I was going for the carbon fiber texture that offers somewhat of a "grip" but over time it just feels like a smooth plastic.

I purchased this case for £6.95 form AMazon yesterday and it came today. I wanted a thin case that offers as much protection as it could, and I believe this is that case. THis case is listed as $35 on thier website, I just wanted to say I dont think that it is worth that much.
The case has a hard, plastic structure with a layer of Brushed Aluminum on the back. This gives it a cool touch and a very nice texture. All cutouts are very well aligned and I have had no issues with audio or pressing the volume or power buttons. The pogo pins are also exposed which is nice as this is the only case I know where they have allowed them to be open. Overall the case is very good very slim and offers quite a lot of protection.
THe negatives come in the way of the design though. The huge poetic logo on the back of the case (see images) may put some people off as well as the bottom and top silver plastic being exposed on the device. Also the case is not that grippy to hold. Meaning it is very slippy to hold and may fall out of your hand.
Great case at a great price.

Here's my video:
Great review man... does it provide any protection to the front? What I mean is if you put the nexus face down does the glass touch the surface at all?
Thanks for putting up the review. That has got to be one ugly case though. I want my branding to be mostly invisible. That one screams LOOK AT ME!!!!! :silly:
Just recently got my nexus and I've been looking for a new case. I just recently dropped my nexus on concrete and the top right corner the I guess bezel or the silver gray material came off. Am wonder ok by if this case would provide decent protection against such a fall

It came with 3+1 free.
Font on the packaging looks like Spigen. I just ordered some too. Hoping that they are as good as you say.
thats what I thought aswell. its a quality protector
I got these on Amazon while I decide whether or not to keep the device. If I do I'll get a glass screen protector, but until then these are really great. Perfect fit and you can hardly tell it's there.

Going to have to disagree about these. I've owned multiple smart phones and screen devices, and have installed many different brands and types (dry install, wet). These went on terrible, even using the shower method. They are just a legit square, making it impossible to line up since you can't tell how much of the bezel or not it protects (tough to get on straight, tough to tell how far up or down on the bezel it goes). I'm going to have to order a better brand, such as Spigen.

Review: Melkco Special Edition Kubalt Double layer case for the LG G4

Hello all,
I'm coming at you with another review of a case. This was sent to me from @adamsjordan75 - straight from Hong Kong. The case just arrived and I had the pleasure of opening up the package and installing the case right away. Please see this link for the promotional pictures first:
https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=835591319823762&id=147941101922124
The package is nicely done. First of all, it does not look cheap. Secondly, it comes with a free screen protector and a cloth cleaner. I'll be honest - I didn't expect it to come with a screen protector, especially since Spigen's screen protector costs something like $11 + shipping. Third, it was shipped in bubble wrapped envelope to protect its goods during shipment. Keep in mind that this case traveled far to get to me, and it arrived in pristine condition.
Please see below for some pictures - will upload attachments via my phone.

Here are some pictures of the packaging, right out of the box.
Here you can see the clear cut-outs for the microphones, IR blaster, charging port, speaker, flash/sensors, and USB. The front side of the phone is protected by a lip - probably 1mm or so, to prevent the screen from touching the surface (desk, table, ie). The back is TPU/silicone material, so it's grippy, yet soft. In the beginning of the install, I had some trouble getting the phone into place and thought that the fitment was off. However, I carried my phone on a short walk and the silicone eventually wiggled itself in place. You can see from the pictures with the phone installed that the fitment is perfect. The case is not too tight, unlike my Rearth Ringke case, which makes me NOT want to remove the backing to swap batteries because it feels like the phone/back will crack every time I take the case off.
This case was on carrymobile.com, but as I am unable to locate a link there, I will link you all to Amazon.

I plan to update my review in a few days, as I'd like to get some usage in before giving a review on that.
Looks like it might be a good one to grab. Looking forward to your update
I had the pleasure of using this for a few more days on my vacation. The case is fairly easy to clean, especially since I got it dirty repeatedly because of my attempts to take pictures of food while eating with my hands. The case comes off easily when you want it to, allowing you to access the sdcard or to swap the battery. I made use of this feature many many times in the past few days.
Definitely a thumbs up for this case.

The Orzly FlexiCase for the OnePlus 3 has a simple design and covers the whole phone so it offers good protection against scratches and bumps on your device. As it is very slim and lightweight, it may not offer the best protection against drops from high levels, but it also means it isn't heavy to hold and it is hard to tell a difference in weight between the case being on and off. Even though it is very thin, it is still is flush with the camera bump of then phone so you don't have to worry about that

The transparent design of the case is simple but allows you to show of the aluminium/soft gold of the phone which is great if you don't want it to be hidden. Also, if you are also using a skin from Slickwraps/dbrand you can show that of too and still have good protection with this case.
[I will add pictures with slickwraps skin on later]
All of the cutouts are in the right place so you can charge the phone and/or plug in headphones without having to remove the case.
Also the LED and microphone at the back of the OnePlus 3 isn't covered which is good. Although the volume buttons and the power button is also covered with plastic, the buttons are still all very tactile and aren't difficult to press. There is also a cutout for the alert slider, which is very easy to access and change profiles (Silent/Priority/All).
Furthermore, as the case is flexible, it makes installing and removing the case a breeze, and due to its flexibility it fits with the tempered glass screen protector from Orzly perfectly for me.
To conclude, this case is great for anyone looking for a cheap case looking for good protection on their OnePlus 3 without having to hide its great design.
Yet again another biased review. I agree, case is great. The TGSP isn't. It doesn't work with the case at all.
