It's great to have more choice on the KF2. Thanks for providing us with another option.
I can confirm this is working fine on my KF2, so flash away.

Rom is solid and stable, quick as are all the cm based rooms for the kf2.
I liked the addition of so many wall paper backgrounds.
Experienced the same image stretch on boot animation that is present in all cm roms.
Overall the experience was good, nice addition!

Wiping the system from twrp kills the existing installed rom.
When moving to a new rom I always make a full twrp backup, wipe system and factory reset wipe, then install new rom and gaps.

I've only had my kf2 for a few days now, but I still wipe the system when installing a ROM. In fact, I tried to skip wiping the system(as a test) and I got a bootloop(granted, I was already in a bootloop from a previous ROM. Point is I needed to wipe system to get out of the bootloop).
So yes, wiping the system should be safe.

Thanks for the update.
I've gone to change the wallpaper, and when I choose the "Wallpaper" option, the thumbnails are not the same as the actual wallpaper. The thumbnails look quite funky, but I only seem to get the default wallpapers. The CM, Gallery, Live, Paranoid, Solid and Swag papers all seem to be correct.
I also can't seem to find the PAC wallpaper as was included before?
Still looking for any other issues.

If you are using CWM, then yes.
If you are using TWRP, then just wipe data and flash.

Ninja-edited: Thanks for the head up. Going try TWRP recovery in now.
So far since I have flashed this last night I have gotten 3 random reboots 2 of which hang on the grainy white screen that pops up just before the bootanimation starts. Other than that I love this ROM.
Edit: I may have figured out the problem. Had been using the PimpMyROM app which seemed to be causing the issue. Ended up wiping the apps data and cache then uninstalled and did a clean flash of the new ROM build. Been running for a good hour or so with no random reboots.

I'm assuming this has the microphone bug where other apps can't use it (voxer, hangouts, Skype eat.)? Since it's a Kernal issue?
Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2
Now, got this rom working great. Ahhh, such a beauty.
EDIT: Not sure if it's a known bug, audio doesn't work via bluetooth?

Bluetooth works on version from 5 19 but that's the only one that I was able to get Bluetooth audio streaming working on.
I would post a link over to the ROM but it looks like that link is dead.... I would ask bkjolly for a link of you want to try it for your self

I would assume you are correct. I have the same issue with all 4.2.2 ROMs for XT907. So it's def a kernel issue and not a ROM issue. =]

Charging up my kindle fire again! Can't wait to try it out. Does it have the home screen flip problem? When you try to move an icon, the screen flips. You have to move home screens in portrait mode.
Issues
Hi, I have been trying this ROM for about hour and here are my thoughts/issues:
1) system is fast same as normal CM10.1 from hashcode
2) it has flipscreen problem
3) ______the biggest issue is for me DPI (I cannot change it for all application and system easily), everything is really small
That is all for now
But thanks for this port

It's a ROM issue ATM. The DPI doesn't stick unless you manually change the app DPI pa. Prefs.

Well, I dont have kindle here now, but I will try to explain my issue:
Quick setting (I dont know correct name) offers me: Tablet UI (1000p/89(?) or 1000p/100(?)) - that doesnt help much (still small)
In advanced setting I can change all to 1000p (but when I restart device, apps are still in 360p and some of them I cannot change to more than 360p)
In advanced when I am moving with DPI, the number doesnt change (still 160)
And so on, and so on. If you know how to use it and you are using it on Kindle Fire HD 8,9 without issues, I will do research and I will try to learn, how to use it.
In the PAPrefs, I cannot set the global DPI and it is showing 160 DPI no matter how I adjust the slider.
Per-app setting works fine, but it is very difficult for me to get to PAPrefs at first because the DPI is too small (I suppose it was 160, KFHD 8.9 should be 256 in quick calculation).

I'm giving this beast a flash now, I'll report back later today with my findings with both the included kernel, Woot's kernel, and with/without the QuickRemote file in case that borks something up.
First thing noticed: There are no navigation buttons and I can't seem to enable them. I'm stuck using Pie. I changed the DPI settings and cannot get them to go back to their defaults.

The ROM looks amazing I just with that 4.3 wasn't such a wasted effort now that 4.4 is out and should take much less effort considering the Nexus 5 and Flex would be easy enough to KANG from.
Here's Hopes that the official 4.4 comes out as promised form the frency carrier leak.

Well for now until pacman updates to 4.4 we can still use the new Google launcher that is preinstalled in this ROM. However, saying "okay Google" does not work for me

Using CWM - doing a full clean install, I keep getting a gapps error. I've tried the gapps provided in the OP as well as the full 4.3 PA gapps, but no dice on either. Anyone else have this issue? I'm wondering if I should switch to TWRP?
I've also attempted both the 11.24 and 11.25 builds with the same result.
im about to flash this when it gets done downloading. But i'd like to use a custom kernal since i haven't used one in 3 months does anyone have a recommendation?
Thank you for this. This is my standard go to Rom. Just waiting for cm to get Debugged and I'll flash this

I love this ROM. There are a few bugs and I think my battery life decreased by a bit but with all the customizations this ROM is amazing. Hopefully some of these bugs will be sorted out in future nightlies

4.4 Pac is in development, trust me...it's not the easiest thing to get fully functional on so many devices.

Thank you for this, I will have a nice long weekend to test and try to fix.
I was able to get a GPS lock, no SOD's yet and no reboots yet. The hybrid settings seem to have some quirks. I set it to the recommended setting and the top of the settings were cut off and the quick settings are on the left side (slightly) and the notification panel to the right. One question I have is that it seems that most cm themes don't theme the "LTE" in the status bar and quick settings. When it was a 4G icon it would always get themed. Thank you for bringing us PAC!

This Rom seems very smooth and responsive, very nice work so far. The only thing I can report is that I couldn't seem to get the nav bar to show up...can't stand pie control, personally. I'll admit that I haven't run pacman before so maybe I missed something? Anyway, thanks for adding another ROM to our device!

No, no reason. I actually don't even use that Gapps. I use one from when KitKat first came out which is slimmed down, guess i'm too lazy to download the latest. You can use whichever KitKat Gapps you like.

Sorry, looks like the address is missing a forward slash after the nightly so should be this http://pacman.basketbuild.com/main/i9300/nightly/pac_i9300-nightly-20140303.zip (this link works by the way)
or maybe that wasn't it. I know we were having problems earlier due to the amount of downloads and traffic. Just refresh the page and it will be fine.

PACMAN-ROM 4.4.2(KitKat):
1) amazing bootanimation
2)amazing rom
3)did i say: amazing rom?
4)aaaaad could you do something? because when i click on pacman console to search for a new nightly apears that i have a new version and the version its the same
5) in changelog its a link to internet, could you do it like in cyannogenmod?(optional but useful)
6) the rom with more free ram(awesome)
7) contextual panel its beautiful, more than the omni
8) appdrawer without animations
CONCLUSION: the best rom in xda for now(in my opinion of course) and its in NIGHTLY hahahaah
Versions
What versions of CM, AOKP and PA have been used?
Any sign of Hybrid Engine and/or PIE?
Cheers...
Battery life ok anyone?

can I install Banks Minimal Gapps with this rom?
Also which boeffla kernel compatible with PAC ?? OMNI or CM ?

When I install Titanium backup it says "Your SU binary (version "16com.android.settings") is functional but might not work reliably on some android 4.3+ roms.
Then when I do actions that require root, for example uninstalling a system app, titanium backup acts normally but then I realize it didn't perform the action and the system app is still there, even though titanium told me it was successful.
Is this a root issue? How can I solve this?
Thank you.

First question, can any kernel be used or are we limited to CAF kernels, eliminating great options like Franco and the derivatives?

CAF kernels due to the CM base
Epic whomp. Please detail that in OP so this question isn't asked a thousand times again. The title with AOSP threw me off.

That one is very outdated. Franko is now on 203, this one you linked to hasn't been updated since 193.
If there was a CM compatible Saber build, I would jump the AOSPAL ship but I know nothing about building a kernel and no one seems interested to do it either.
