If the ones from the op aren't good then I would try goo 4.2.2 gapps is what you'll want

the gapps on op work, just that certain latest play updates are missing. I just use system cleanup to update system files when needed. its a very handy app to have.

[ROM][4.2.2][unofficial] Rootbox Nightlies

Hey everyone as Bajee is taking a break from RootBox, he has left updates to other Individuals. I decided I would start posting my own nightlies for people to use if they so wish. These builds will be for people who want more current nightlies than are officially posted. Please remember these nightlies are created using only RootBox sources and if there are any issues there is a chance it is my compiling that is at fault. I have been using my own nightlies and seem to have no performance issues that are not in the official nightlies.
I have seen others do this so I thought I would help out. Please leave some form of notice if you download a nightly from me (I.E. Thanks or comment) so that I can the number of downloads I am receiving.

Awesome thanks for the update!
Just flashed and everything is great! Still have the bugs from phablet and tablet modes (I guess bajee hasn't fixed those) but THERE R NO MORE FCS! Cheers!
On a side note, the lagging with Ruzzle (and I assume camera is also affected by it too, it's a commit that bajee plans to revert) has not been fixed... Yet. Not as bad as the FCing though.

Adding a new device:
If you're a maintainer and would like to add a device to be officially supported (ie. go into nightlies), please follow these instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483720
Other builds:
If you have other unofficial builds, please PM them to me. Keep in mind that while I'm not against releasing builds yourself, I'd rather have the official ones in here until nightlies
Testing the rom on my Mako. Fast and smooth, although Active Display seems to work randomly: some Whatsapp's notification showed, and some others didn't. And notification staying on screen time is very short, couple of seconds.
EDIT:
Bugs reported to Jira.omnirom.org.
In general terms, great rom, and great job. U guys rock. Thanks 4 everything

[ROM][TESTING/ALPHA] ChameleonOS in Testing Mode

A while ago I did a ChameleonOS attempt but didn't get many testers. I made a new build and really want folks to go through it and put it through the paces.
Link to builds:
http://www.rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy S4 (SPH-L720)/AOSP ROMs/ChaOS
Update:
Both builds have a bad boot.img but flashing CM or KT boot.img will get you going.
Link to KT kernel (thanks Teknician for verifying this!):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2288309
After I get OmniROM up to this point I'll start looking at fixing the boot.img problems.
And keep in mind - it's a test build. Looking for stable? Try another ROM for now.
This latest build relies heavily on CM repos so please keep that in mind. I'm hoping it will give a pathway to port OmniRom as well, but we'll see.
Thanks!
I'll test. Was curious if we were going to get some omni love

You guys are welcome to test the older build as well. Heard that one booted - problem is I had to wipe the drive and lost the bringup for it... so I'm starting again from scratch.
I'll get back on it tonight and see if we can't get a working build here in the week.

We don't want to test the old Roms we want the new ones no disrespect here but please make sure your updated Roms boot the last 2 Roms you posted are flops this and omni and the old Roms were posted by some one else and not by you.

How long did it take you to flash? I waited 5 minutes and it still was flashing so I got impatient and restored my backup.

just added this to my multirom.
it's pretty rudimentary, don't have to rush and install.

camera seems to be from 4.4.1, not really good in focusing.
my suggestion is to wait it out. i find stock is better.
Is it just me or does LTE not work, just wondering?
I've been trying to download this for an hour off the paranoid website and their rouk mirror as well. Does anyone have a mirror they can hook me up with? Thanks in advance.
Honestly Omni ROM is better at the moment until they add features like pie and halo until then it's just a stock ROM..

Yes PA officially released it so it's fine to mirror. I saw your PM but It won't let me download without access. Thanks again
