Hi there,

oh...weird. the previous version in the youtube-link looks good, though.

Yes, I think HTC dropped support for it in their framework. It's a shame.

HTC Sense

Hi,
Has anybody seen the new HTC Sense interface? I think it looks much better than the touchflo3d. Also, does anybody know if it will be available on the HTC touch HD?
Cheers

oh i respect u so much
ok you guys are just wrong, this is one of the things i dislike about some of the users on xda.
You could have simply told the OP that this has been discussed several times, and that he only needs to use the search function.
Sense as it is seen on the Hero, will not be coming to Windows Mobile, instead the idealogy of Sense UI will be likely be incorporated into Touch Flo 3d.
There are a few skins that developers have been working on to bring some similitude of Sense to Windows Mobile, these are the one's i'm currently aware of:

it is included in mcr2.9 as it is part of htc sense. probably won't work in other roms.
Oh, I thought, that is the Widget of the first HTC ROM with flipping times.
Sorry.
I still cant figure out how to get it to work on my phone.. I just said forget it

It won't work without Rosie installed (and running). It's an HTC widget, not a regular Android widget... it only hooks into SenseUI.
Also, if your question is why doesn't it actually flip, that's a limitation of the US version I know for sure... the animation was taken out by HTC because of the drain on system resources. The animation may or may not be functioning in the widget released in Europe.
I did pull this from the original rom so it should flip but when i posted it i thought id like to give it a try and i couldnt get it work either so I gues htc must have changed something else in the ROM that it relies on maybe... Im far from being an expert though so don't know if it should be able to work or not
Sorry
Not working on my Samsung Epic 4G. Is there a similar widget that works WITH the flip clock animation intact for non-HTC phones?

Lacks the animation, but it's the closest you will get. Remember that it's removed due to a C&D, so you can't get it or post it on xda.
I have my own black version of the HTC flipclock that i rebuilt/themed and the animation flips/works perfectly, i've uploaded it for you (install through recovery as update.zip and make sure it does not go on sdcard, has to be on phone storage)!
It would be great if a Dev could make this work with non-sense roms
Enjoy.
wont install on my optimus one

the thing is the flip clock needs the sense framework.....if you want something similar to it...download applanet and install fancy widgets pro and theme the home widget i paid for the app but if u need it for testing i suggest this. the clock its identical to the sense ui analog flip clock
i wanna a htc flip clock for cm7
OUPS I didn't see the 2nd page....

[Q] ZOE & Blinkfeed for HTC One Jelly Bean 4.2.2

Hi All,
Just recently rooted my HTC Juan M7 and just flashed Jelly Bean 4.2.2.
I was going through some of the features and I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a ZOE camera feature on Jelly Bean like offered on the stock HTC One Sense.
If there is a ZOE feature how do we access it in Jelly Bean.
If there is no ZOE. is it possible to get it?
Thanks all!
Any posts are appreciated! If you know please feel free to PM me!
Cheers!

Not sure I understand the question. Do you mean CM/AOSP or GE? If so, the answer is no, those features are Sense-specific.
Someone ported the camera to GE, but Zoe does not work. Blinkfeed is part of the Sense launcher, and AFAIK, no one has tried to pull it out. Most people wanting mods of it are looking to get rid of it.

Indeed.
But, OP, you're being vague. By 4.2.2, do you mean an AOSP ROM, Google Play edition ROM or Sense ROM? I'm assuming you mean AOSP, in which case, no. ZOE is not accessible.
ZOE is a proprietary piece of software that HTC has copyrighted, and it would be illegal to use it on an AOSP ROM. It's the same reason many devices have driver problems and why we have to flash Google apps separately from the ROM.

At the moment, ZOE features are specific to Sense 5 on the stock ROM. Maybe some people are working on it, but I honestly don't know.

Morning all,
Thanks for the replies. And ya sorry its been a while since ive posted! Shouldve posted all me specs.
Im on the HTC One
4.2.2.
[ROM][m7]Stock Android 4.2.2 Google Play Ed. - Root/Busybox/Odexed/Deodexed (7/7/13)
Stock Android 4.2.2 for HTC One M7.
I saw that there was a app called SO.HO that produces some similar effects like the Blinkfeed but its a launcher.
Anyone know of any other widgets?
And it would be quite wonderful to be able to activate the ZOE feature on the camera. It really is quite nice.
. Do you mean CM/AOSP or GE? . Not sure i quite understand either! Noobie alert!
If you are on Google play edition zoe and blink feed, etc won't work as they rely on components of the Sense 5 framework which the Play version doesn't have.

If you want Zoe and blinkfeed so bad, stay on Sense. Just my thought.
There is a way to change your lock screen to AOSP style.
You can download the AOSP clock and the GPe live wallpaper (DROID paper has the lwp). Lastly, you can use nova launcher and set the theme to stock jelly bean.
Flipboard is an alternative to Blink feed.

Does anyone know of and new Sense Roms that may contain features for the play roms?

Is it possible to apply scollable home wallpapers?

Like browsing the home pages reveals parts of the wallpaper. Is this possible? I'm on 4.4 Sense 5.5. Thanks in advance!

Sense 5.5 does not allow scrollable home screens yea its sad but if you want that go to an AOSP ROM hahaha
Geez I thought Viperx can sorted it out.
In S4 it's the same thing but you can enable it via xposed

I was thinking of a similar fix or a workaround being available already to enable that.

Htc sense 7 launcher for s6/s6 edge

HTC SENSE 7 LAUNCHER FOR S6/S6 EDGE
Ok guys, so far this is just a base for a project, currently my device doesn't have root, therefore I'm doing what i can without. Therefore here is the sense 7 launcher working that can be installed on your Galaxy S6/Edge. Install both APK'S
Once/IF we get root i can definitely get things working better. However, in the meantime, when placing widgets you can jut tap them, and move them later.

Just stalking the forums lol. The wife got the Gold Edge so I figured I would look around and kill some time. I'm worried about the battery life for her use. She got the gold edge because it was pretty lol. Why did you not really like the edge?

No Notification Badge Numbers on icons
I assume because we arent rooted yet on this one that the Numbered Badge icon notifications that go on top of the App Icons won't work until we can get it rooted and figure it out? I have the sense launcher installed and when i get new emails or text there is not badge number on top of the icons?
Any way (presently) to change the settings for the clock/weather widget on the Blinkfeed page?
Update: Went to the original creator of this launcher to get what I was looking for

I have that version running on my S6 Active and it works great. I had an HTC One M7 before moving over to the Active and after using it for a couple days I started missing that Blinkfeed and this seemed to cure my fix. Kinda like the best of both worlds, the only other thing I miss is the front facing speakers, but I guess the military ruggedness will have to make up for that.
