Without the sim card the phone boot?
Did you tried the hard shutdown(volume up + power for 15 seconds till you feel 3 vibrations)?
Did you tried to flash another firmware with flashtool?
Did you tried sony update service?

I've had exactly the same problem, i've fully flashed first with Sony Update Service and i've re-downloaded the latest flashtool version and that's worked,
Also be sure that you have your smartphone correctly installed.
Have you tried?

You should try to fully restore your phone and don't try to flash rom anymore or you'll brick it

[Q] Flashtool doesn't recognize my Z

I know this sound like newbie and I start thinking I'm newbie right now.
Yesterday I have my Xperia Z (C6602) Region TH. flashed to DoCoMo and it was working perfectly except a little thing. It has a lot of bloatware so I managed to get root and uninstall a lot of them. Hour later OTA arrive so I install it and my phone stop the networking. 3G and Wi-Fi working really strange (I supposed to know this is Baseband problem not because I uninstall DoCoMo bloatware carelessly)
So I use Flashtool to flash DoCoMo (101.D.0.333) again and realized later that it was not my careless uninstall. It was OTA that kill my phone feature so I tried flash my region Firmware (10.1.A.1.434) to get the baseband back and flash DoCoMo fw without baseband again later.
And my problem starting from here. The phone not recognized on Flashtool (it say "Cannot identify your device") and it ask me to input what my model is (So I choose C660x) and it make my phone ready to flash once I put it to flashmode. But no, once I put it to flashmode flashtool itself couldn't recognize my phone is in the state ready to flashing so it keep saying my phone need to put in to flashmode by press Vol.down while plug the USB.
I have no idea how to fix this. I already tried uninstall-reinstall the USB driver. Try SO-02E driver (which is the same as Xperia Z) but it still not working.
And each time my phone reboot it keep asking me to choose the language and tell me to put the DoCoMo sim. Does this mean I need to put the sim first to make the phone pass the state on Unboxing?
All I need right now is to flash my region FW back first. (Or maybe find some way to make radio.zip from FTF). Should I root and put a recovery into my LOCKED bootloader and find some way to install radio?

Oh just saw that I really put it in a wrong section. And yes, I'm using Beta6. It was working fine until I flash it again today (was working after OTA, but no, not working for now)

Does your FTF contain loader.sin? If not, use a complete FTF. This one for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2336874
You could also try with Sony Update Service (SUS), but this program will wipe all your data.

I don't think there is anything to do with your locked bootloader. for ftf thing, there's some threads on subject of making your own ftf and you need to search the forum. but I recommend re-downloading a proper ftf again, it's easy if you have resonable fast internet access.
good luck.

Is this problem related to Kernel or some chip problem?
If this is kernel related Plz suggest me kernel(not stock) and custom ROM (4.2.2) for my device.

I have tried everything possible on the software part i.e installing roms and kernels....but no result
I think this might be problem from hardware side(Battery, its connectors etc)

Are you on windows 7 or 8? If you are on windows 8 you have to disable something... Driver certificate enforcement or something I forgot ...
In order to turn it on, you press the power button. If that doesn't work, then that means something is wrong.
You have to install the drivers for ADB to flash stuff. Install Sony PC Companion and plug your phone in, see if it detects it

[Q] Xperia Z restars and before booting up RED Led shows up. What to do?

Hi all, today I faced one problem and I don't know what to do.
I have rooted C6603 phone, and when I'm on Root Browser and changing anything - phone restarts and before bootup and screen turning on, RED LED shows up for couple seconds and then It normally starts. Can it be, that phone is going to brick itself ? I have installed SoftKey's (CWM).
Version : 4.1.2 - waiting for K.K.
Thanks for all suggestions or answers .

On the right way, I have camed off rubber from headphone claps, so, Can I pull that clap out without phone disassembly? I can clearly see in that little hole, that It have some fatter back, so, If i'll try to push it and get out, will it work without making seriously damage?
