After flashing my first CM10.1 on LG L5 e610(MDPI) ive noticed that i cant use the Theme Chooser for any Theme,i have tested many.Than i have found a thread in XDA about a moddet Theme Chooser with that u can use Themes for all dpi on your Phone.After raping our friend Google a while i found the attached one that are for any Android 4.1/4.2/4.3/4.3.1/4.4/4.4.1/4.4.2 Rom with Themechooser worx(it should),i have flashed it with cwm,before i have mounted system blabla,flashed and rebooted without cache or dalvik cache wipe and ALL THEMES in HDPI/XHDPI I HAVE TESTED ARE WORKING 100%
So all credits go to real dev,the problem is to find him,i have found the mod on Blogspot and the link to XDA says me it doesnt exist,so enjoin and dont thank me.
Tested on CM,Slim,Paranoid,PacMan.Vanir Weeklies.

Hi to all. I am running Cyanogenmod version 10.1 alrogers version for my Galaxy Tab P1000 European version, and I had the same problem with the themes, so I installed the Modded theme patch through TWRP , themes are installed now fine all I had tried , BUT I have a very strange problem My IMEI had changed, to 004999010640000 and when I restart the tablet I have a message invalid IMEI, my carrier has no problem and the tab is working, but I want to fix it. I had tried deleting cache and dalvik cache, and restoring the 2 full backups I had the last 20 days, but no luck with both of them. I saw this message about the invalid IMEI first time after flashing this patch, and I cannot imagine what this has to do with the IMEI. I have my original IMEI number is there a way to restore it? I don't want to full restock again etc,etc. I had read in XDA that if I flash modem.zip in pda field, through odin without repartition, will fix it, but I don't do it without your advice.

Was hoping to get a ThemeManager for stock 4.1.2 JB on e610. This didn't do it, theme engine kept crashing and there's no gui for it, not even an activity shortcut. Tried both Xposed theme modules with no luck, seems there's no option to theme stock ROM that does not originally include a stock theme engine.

fine, it is based on stock framework from v20e, so it should be fine on all ROM´s based on this ...
if anybody likes to test new version, here it is :
looks exactly the same like 1.2, but i added ...
1) CRT effect
2) Overscroll glow
3) reboot option in menu
(2+3 are taken from trapacska´s thread)

The official HC3.2.1 for the GT-P7100 (10.1v) ,was released a few months ago and i found it to be almost as smooth and stable as ICS, only with one major benefit, the camera works.
Unfortunatly Honeycomb looks like pants and ICS is beautifull; so I decided to Completely re-theme the rom. V1 is out now for you to play with and Features:
-Pure honeycomb with almost no additional apps
-The additional apps included are : Flash, Titanium backup, ES file explorer and Go launcher HD
-Rooted , busybox etc..
-All non updatable apps and UI are ICS themed
-Fast, stable and everything works

I did set up a linux machine today and made an acount on github, connected to github etc, so i'll be building from source soon, now it's copy paste stuff

flashed the rom. looking good and seems to be smooth.
But i get FCs very often. even in the settings. can't even set up my google account. did a wipe, but after installing (did it before, then recovery couldn't access the sdcard where i copied the rom to flash).
this rom is quite promising, but actually it has too many FC. will flash back stock.
but will definetly keep an eye on this one

Hmm many issues it seems, i might have an idea what went wrong with the build i have put online, let's pray that my tab is repaired quickly so i can make a new build that deals with it, i also got my hands in the kernel source, trying to figure out now how to enable overclocking and adding some governors

MIUI v4 for Legend
Found this ROM made by Cofface in a Chinese forum for the HTC Legend. As you might of guessed it is an MIUI v4 port for our phone. There's still many things not working which I'm going to try and get working. This ROM still isn't fully translated and I don't recommend you use this as your daily driver just yet. It has MAJOR speed/responsiveness problems. I've modified the build.prop to try and make it faster and included a default overclock.

-Bluetooth

It should port MIUIv4 to any device. Actually we have a ICS ROM ( zeubea's ROM ). I wanted to try this but I can't download the official ROMS from MIUI servers ( http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/miui-rom-2-5-18-roms.16608/ ). Maybe this can help.

Hi All,
I have successfully ported miui v4 with some essential parts are working; wifi, call/sms, usb storage (using UMS), browser etc.
At this stage, it is usable but have some bugs to be fix before can make it perfectly working.
1.One of the bug are the signal bar stays the same regardless how bar i have.
2. some UI glitches, for example in root explorer when i press menu and then when i replied the sms from the pop up, when it reach the second line, the same glitches will come out.
I'm very new in this kind of things, mostly i just do some simple modding. I hope any Devs or any members can help me or at least to show or even just to guide me where i can fix the bugs before i can go to zeubea and ask his permission (i use his ROM as base) and share it here.

When i have free time, i will upload the file to mediafire and pm you the link so that we can play it together.. anyone interested also can pm me and i will give the link. i wont post the link or even open the thread yet because i havent pm zeubea for his permission yet plus eventhough it is working, there's still many issues need to resolved.
Right now i'm stuck at the graphics glithces in several places; sms pop up, sms app conversation list when i rotate the screen, menu in root explorer etc and i have no idea which files that responsible for the behaviour and whatever comes out from logcat seems like an alien language to me
some other issues are torch not working (not a dealbreaker for me)
But the signal bar now fixed, usb storage also working and no need to use UMS.apk workaround anymore, themes seems working fine, changing dpi also doesn't break any apps, camera working fine with flash, performance are good so far...

2. hardware buttons backlight is not working "automatically". had to change brightness to make it work and wont light up again once screen is wake up or brightness set to auto. workaround is to tap once at brightness to make it auto and then tap once again to go back to your brightness.

How did you go about porting this? Like what guide did you use and what ROM did you get the MIUI parts from? Also, do you plan to rebase it off zeubea's latest CM9 Beta4? Great job on the ROM, can't wait to get home and test it.

At first, i search on the net for the guides, there is some in xda and some in miui.us forum.
However, foolowing it give me boot loop each time. So, i just do it my way.
I take many ROM to try out (galaxy ace, sony xperia etc) but none working until i use wildfire s ROM. Once it is bootable, only then i go and look for the issues and the fix from the net (faster way) as i dont have much free time to look into the apk files and fix the issue. Somemore, i only have one phone, this is my only phone to communicate so, you can imagine how furious my gf if she can't call me the whole day LOL ;p

LCD density intentionally set to 133 for my usage. Forgot to mention it. Later i will include the patched play store.

Doesn't change anything... same lockscreen that before flash.

1)extracted the lockscreen zip downloaded from first link..
2)replaced the files in cm10 20121105.zip
3)flashed the cm10 zip..
4) wipe cache, dalvik, fix permissions and..
voila it worked....:laugh:
but its not that great..
To make flashable zip work, maybe you should free some space on system partition. Can't try ATM, because I'm currently on stock ICS and testing it. And probably will stay few more days for testing purposes. So I'll skip few CM10 nightlies...
Anyway, thanks for porting this for our device, I'll try it as soon as I'm back on CM10.

no..thats why i said its not that great...
I just can't get it to work..even when I replace the files in the CM10 zip and try to flash it it keeps aborting and giving status 0

1) halo ring : it could be due to too big image size.. Current version(v3 for JZO54K) is for HD screen devices. If you are trying to use this patch for WVGA(hdpi) device, you have to replace WaveView.java part to old version's one (v2.5 for WVGA).
2) black wallpaper : this is lockscreen transparency issue. check your rom version and see this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...5&postcount=23

Don't include the META-INF folder.
I included it in the latest nightly, for me the clock only show 3 digits and the lockscreen unlocks really slow..
back to normal !

same here..only 3 digits the 4th one is cut..ex- time is 10.35 ... only half part of 5 is shown..

Well, I've replaced the files of the new link directly into the ROM zip file, and I had the problem of the digits. But selecting "center" into lockscreen settings (settings/lockscreen) just fixed it.
All I can say is a big thank you, caus' I've been waiting for it for a very long time, and even if you can't add widgets or shortcuts, and that the unlock is a bit slow, this stays a very good mod !

why dont you make an Aroma work for all those deleted apps.....there are a few apps which are popular....like gtalk, FM radio, You tube, Weather, Google maps, etc.....that will be a great help.....

that's the exact same thing I thought, the new loockscreen is awesome, but you know, some people like oranges, some like apples..

great....in future versions u can give options to supercharge the rom using v6 supercharger n kickass kernelizer with tweak services.jar.....
also u can include free versions of Apex n Nova launchers.....and probably root explorer [free]....

HI,
I have been using this rom since yesterday, and find it very nice to use, the next updates may please have the corrected version names in the options during install ( 20e, 20g should be 28 respectively). Also even though I chose 28g, it installed the 28e version........hmmm.
REst is fine, and lovely to use!! WAiting eagerly for the updates with best of stock and other roms !!
