U are using a virgin Xperia Z. U never unlock bootloader before. U never root before.
LOCKED BOOTLOADER
BACKUP any critical data to microSD
Copy this rom zip package to microSD
Flash stock Sony's firmware (FTF) 10.1.A.434 (for android 4.1.2) or 10.3.A.0.423 (for android 4.2.2) using flashtools
Root using any available method
Install any available recovery (TWRP recommended)
Reboot in recovery, do factory reset & install rom until finish
Turn off device. (Hold power button + vol up until vibrates 3 times)
Flash latest Sony's firmware (FTF) matching current latest monxDIFIED base rom using flashtools. Uncheck all WIPE options and exclude all EXCEPT KERNEL & BASEBAND to get latest matched kernel & baseband.
Turn on phone. Done.

U already rooted your phone. U already have recovery. U are maybe currently using other custom rom.

OK, i have installed this ROM It's ultra smooth & the camera is pure awesome with out fc. It also comes with bravia engine and x-reality
Stable camera, no fc so far. It takes a few secs to load the AR mode, May be due to our hard ware.

the only thing that keeps me away from AOSP/AOKP roms is the facebook contacts and calendar sync, if there is a workaround for this i would download this rom now...had it before and liked it a lot...

Had some time to play with this now - without doubt the fastest rom I've had on the note so far.
I experienced lots of sod's on 2.2 hopefully this will fix it, however I'm becoming convinced that sod's are due to certain installed app's. Not sure which ones yet but working on it.

How to install
What do you need:
installed flashtool + drivers (will be installed after flashtool instalation)
zip file with ROM -> copy to SD card (DO NOT UNPACK)
ftf file with stock JellyBean ROM (original unmodified firmware) -> save to directory C:\flashtool\firmware

Shut down your phone
Run flashtool, click on flash icon , select flashmode.
Select file with stock JB ROM from the list. Check "No final verification" and confirm.
Connect the phone after request. Push and hold Volume down and connect cable to PC Wait for flashing to end.
Disconnect phone from PC.
Root a install CWM
Turn on phone.
Hold volume Up a and wait for blue LED until it change to green Enter into CWM.
In CWM select
-> instal zip from sd card --> choose zip from sdcard ---> select .zip (sk-cz_xperia_team_uniQue-XT_final ) ----> yes
Restart phone, let it boot into system, do basic setup and restart again.
Done!

If you already are on another ROM and have CWM there is no reason to flash a stock ftf, root and blah blah blah. Just wipe your phone minus SD card and flash in recovery.

1)I didn't like that my user data had been wiped away (I already was on 140 James bond firmware, so I chose to wipe nothing)
2)I found a bug using the camera: while I take a picture, if I go into the effects option I get a forced close... This is really annoying

Yes you can but I recommend to flash clean ROM to make sure that its really clean... (at least format system partition)

ROM has integrated script to do it by itself (format system, cache data etc...), but for just to make sure I`m also doing it before every install

Is it possible to change the menu background or the black theming? I like all the tweaks but not a fan of the GUI.
Also, can't remove the data notification from the menu, and weather widget force closes.

Ultra Light is a de-bloated stock ROM without Touchwhiz Launcher and S-Voice. Nova Launcher is installed out of the box. This ROM is for people wanting a more traditional Google 5.0.2 experience, without sacrificing the features of a Touchwhiz ROM. Instructions
- Make sure your device is rooted using PingPong Beta 6 and above
- Join the G+ community using the same Google account as you're using for Play on your phone/tablet Here
- Sign up to receive the BETA versions from Play Here
- Use the link provided after sign-up to download the app.
- Put the ROM someone in a folder on the root directory of your device
- Open Flashfire (Accept root permissions)
- Select wipe (Accept defaults)
- Go to flash zip and select the ROM

A tweak to keep launcher in memory
A tweak to slow down the wifi scanning intervals
Some other random tweaks that I cant remember right now :silly:
Its unclear how much of an impact these tweaks make, if any at all, but it cant hurt.

This is not a themed ROM, so I am not sure what your looking for in particular. I have over 100 pieces of software on my phone, I would be more than happy to submit some screenshots if you would like.
What does deodexed mean? Does the Rom essentially look like the stock AOSP? Are the settings and notification center have the same appearance as stock android?

It will look like the stock ROM but will have a ton of stuff removed including the TouchWiz launcher but it will, in no way, look like an AOSP based ROM.

No it means the extra touchwiz apps are gone, what's left is the same systemUI (general look), same settings.apk (the setting menu), etc.
If your looking for AOSP look, go to the Verizon section and get the AOSP theme based on the urban theme.

I did a dirty flash of the ROM so i keep my data then straight after installing the rom I have installed gapps, then cleared cache and rebooted

I did wipe of caches, (advanced wipe in TWRP) flash rom then straight after flashed GAPPS, data all still intact. As for results I certainly wouldn't go back.

Dirty flash is flashing a new ROM without first formatting the phone. Which can cause problems but it went smoothly for me.
Does it have Russian language?)
when i back from this rom to 5.02 rom , i lost signal from 1 sim ,, there is any solution for this? i have now only 1 sim :/
