I want to upgrade to Xperia Z, but i have some questions first. - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi, i have an htc one s and i want to upgrade. after some searches i think that XZ is the phone for me. but first i have some questions
1) I have read that after the 4.2.2 patch the phone can support exFAT microSD cards, is this true? (it is important to me because i want to transfer files bigger than 4gb)
2)If the previous is true, how do you format the microSD cards? from the phone or from pc?
3) any idea on the availability of the 4.2.2 patch? i live in romania and i want to know if it's available
4) i have read on sony forums that after the 4.2.2 patch some users complained of lag in various areas, such as swaping through menus, gallery, games etc. anyone else experience this?
5) i watch movies A LOT, i often go to friends and mirror the movies from my phone to their tv through the MHL. Currently i have a samsung MHL adapter, do i need to buy another one or does this one suffice?
6) can the Xperia Z play 720p/1080p @ 48fps mkv/mp4 movies without any stutter?
7) what can you say about the camera? i mean shutter speed, low light quality, good light quality. if anyone else can compare this to an htc one s i would appreciate it.
8) how good is the screen, in your oppinion? im fairly satisfied with the amoled on the One S, and i think that switching to the Z will feel like a slight downgrade in terms of screen quality.
9) how durable is it? i dislike my one s because i feel i have to treat it like a new born baby, its made of aluminum and gets scuffs and scratches very easily.
and the most important questions:
does it blend?

All great questions. I just ordered the Z so I cannot answer them. I will let you know when I review the unit.

That's not an issue, just download an FTF file from this forum, doesn't really matter from which country.

They were probably to lazy not to do a full wipe before installing 4.2.2.
I underCLOCKED my cpu to 1ghz and I have no lag and I'm not even a wizard...

Just make sure to get screen protectors before you use the phone and you should be ok, also don't forget to get a case.

Camera is not that great. I am an amerture photographer and I was more impressed with my last phone (i9100). Main issue is Sony overcompress the images so there is quite a lot of noise. Low light is pretty poor really but that is my opinion. If the lighting is favourable then the quality is more than acceptable.

The screen is very sharp and brightness is good. Compared to the AMOLED of the samsungs the colours are more natural which I like. Blacks are not as good though but the Sony screen is a joy to work with none the less.

Given the Xperia is mostly glass on the outside it would be more likely to break than an aluminium one or at least twice as likely for you to end up with broken glass (ie the back or the front). Also the glass comes pre coverd with anti shatter platic film which is very easy to scratch and cannot be replaced. That said I dont use any protection with mine and I'm not that fussed. I don't expect it to look like new when I'm done with it though and I like it to be naked so it isn't bulky in my pocket. I've droped mine a couple of times and it bounced pretty well. The only marks are from when I put it it my pocket with my keys and the sharp car key marked the screen protector.

well, i was a bit afraid of screen angles, because a lot of people don't reccomend z because of that, however when i finally turn on the phone, i was impressed. Maybe you won't be able to check the clock when you're in bed if you have bright wallpaper, but the resolution, brightness quickly cover this minus

Nopes.
Of course it does play, but with hiccups and not in sync at all.
I tried it with MX Player.

(4) First, like Dsteppa (@ #3 post) said, laggy or not depends mostly on how one updates to 4.2.2 (from 4.1.2). Full wipe / factory reset / clean install do really help to avoid lagging.
I've tried serveral approaches to update my XZ to 4.2.2, and finally achieved "no lag" by doing this: format whatever partition I can think of on the phone (system, data etc.) hence resulted in "soft-brick" (phone won't boot but stuck at the SONY logo screen), then plug the phone to SONY's Update Service to repair by flashing the latest 4.2.2 onto it, followed by installing every single app back to the phone 'manually' and not through backups from Titanium Pro.
Second, lagging or not may also be app related. 2 out of 103 apps that I installed do result in sluggish and heat up when run; one is a local weather app, and the other one is Chrome. Both are running good and smooth on 4.1.2 but not on 4.2.2. My wild guess is that they're not optimized for XZ 4.2.2 yet. Freeze them with Titanium Pro (root required) and my XZ is running smooth and ice cold now.
Anyway, I believe if you get a new XZ right now, it should be with 4.2.2 out of the box, so, there shouldn't be any problem, just be aware of what app to use and you'll be fine.
(about my XZ: stock rom 423, Generic HK R4B, odexed, rooted, mod with PureXAudio v18 / Navigation Bar 36dpi)
- - - - - - -
(6) The 'stock' movie player does have some limitations to play those formats you mentioned. "MX Player" does not.
I have tried 480/720/1080, interlaced/progressive, 23.976(or 24)/.../60fps, level 3.0/.../5.1, H.264/AVC/mpeg, AAC/Dolby AC-3/DTS (custome codec required for DTS), mkv/mp4, subtitle(s) with UTF-8 format, 10gb+ a file... etc with MX Player Pro on my XZ, play smooth and no problem so far EXCEPT those files with 10-bit color-rendering instead of the normal use of 8-bit (since 10-bit is not yet supported by hardware acceleration).
I don't have any mkv/mp4 file with HFR 48fps since I only render my DVDs and Blu-rays with framerate set as source, and there is no DVD/Blu-ray disc comes with 48fps so far in the market, including the blu-ray release of Pete Jackson's "The Hobbit", which is using 24p instead of the HFR 48fps like it's theatrical release. Reason is that today's commercial grade blu-ray player and TV doesn't support such framerate for it is not a standard yet; well, in the future yes may be. If you really want to play HFR 48 materials, you will need some industrial grade equipments, like those for use in studios.
So I doubt if XZ can really support 48fps playback; if yes, XZ won't be this small in size, plus, it won't be selling at this price.
Just a side note, movie that you download from Internet which claims itself running at 48fps, is just a gimmick and use 'fake' frame to achieve it's so-called 48fps, not true HFR 48. When playback, it won't do any good but harm your system/player since extra computing power is required to handle/correct those fake frames, which are supposingly not being there.
Hope this help.

[Q] From Xperia S to Xperia T: is it worth it?

Hi guys, I'll go straight to the point: I was thinking of exchanging my Xperia S for an Xperia T, paying about 30€. I have some questions for you owners, hoping you'll take a couple of minutes to answer me
T is more powerful, no doubt about that (actually I do have a doubt: does it have dual channel RAM like Xperia V or is it the same RAM as Xperia S? ). What I'm particularly interested in is:
- Camera -> Better? Worse? Same? Apart from those 13 MegaPixels, Sony sensors are always quite good, the problem is how Sony optimizes the software part (sometimes awfully, unfortunately). So... would I regret switching from S to T?
- Battery -> Neither T nor S have great battery life, this is actually well known. But how's battery life of Xperia T comparing to the one of Xperia S? I'm actually satisfied (enough) with my S... would I regret buying this T?
- Bugs & Problems -> Is there any terrible bug that I should be aware of? And in that case would I be able to solve it with a little modding?
- Last question: would you recommend me to change my S with a T for just 30€, or do you find it useless?
Thank you for your attention, hope to read you soon
I've got the T, my brother has the S, so I#ve had the chance to use both (at least a bit)

About even. 1MP more doesn't matter (you won't notice such a small increase in pixels. A camera needs to have at least 25% more pxels to show a visible increse) - and since most of us don't print and most screens still show only 2MP the pixel increase is irrelevant.

Also: about even. You can get through a day with both with restricted usage, but heavy usage will drain both fast

Not really a bug but an annoyance: the home/back buttons are softbuttons that take up screen real estate unlike the S, which has those buttons as sperate touch areas

Camera MP count

I agree a 1 MP increase is irrelevant. Unless the increase goes in hand with a bigger pixel size, which usually means a bigger sensor. Even the opposite is true. Higher pixel count means higher pixel density which mean higher digital noise which means more software noise suppression which means more loss of detail!
The really relevant data would be the sensor size, and secondly pixel density. The same sensor size with 5 MP count would potentially deliver a far better quality, especially in low light conditions.
The useless counting of MP is the prove of marketing powers. Even when using the build in digital zoom, anything more than 10 MP in a hand phone or compact camera is looking good on the package description, but delivers no value to the consumer. Professionals seldom need more than 20 MP. They have much better sensors in their cameras, which are multiple the size of the toy sensor which is in a phone. The right feature in the Xperia would be a switch to connect two or three pixels to one unit, that would be a real improvement.
To the phone, wait for the next good offer. The differences are not earth shaking.

Yeah the biggest reason I could see to upgrade is the increased screen size it's a lot nicer to use then a 4.3 and maybe the build of the LT30A is one is one of the things that made me fall in love with this phone when I was buying it but other then that and maybe the small apps I can't see a reason to upgrade just wait till something better comes out.
Thanks for your replies. I actually specified that I know those "13 MegaPixel" means nothing: that's why I was asing users about the camera quality, because I can't just rely on that number
Apart from that, I'm just willing to change because the Xperia T design is one of my favourite ones, plus it will still receive support from Sony. I'll probably go through a serious change in march/april 2014, but for now I'm just a bit tired of the S (though I'm quite satisfied with it).
Thank you anyway for your opinions, hope to read more from you

Actually 2 words : "Under investigations"
From a development point of view it would make much more sense to take the T over the S. The T is getting an official 4.3 update (maybe even 4.4) and the S isn't. Developers are currently doing fantastic things with the T from solid stock ROMs like Hybrid and Miui to super fast and smooth 4.4 ROMs such as OmniRom. They are doing so much on old kernels and software. Imagine what they'll be able to do once the T gets 4.3 or 4.4.

Need Honest Opinions on Z1!

Hello Frnds!
It's been quite a while that I am planning to buy Z1 but m unable to.. Just wanna be sure before spending too much on a smartfon!
My main concerns are - Sound Quality during the call & in recording a voice note or a call rec. How is the sound quality of Z1 in all these?
I have askd people and came to know that call rec is indeed successful in Z1.. So, I just want to know it's sound quality.. And how is the zoom quality in the camera? Plus, what are the flaws you people have faced in the basic functionality of the device? Pls. reply with your honest reviews! Pls..

Cover flaps handles are made of hard material, unlike ZR which uses flexible material, so this one's more prone to break

You should check the QA section, the phone have many issues, like Touch Screen, Camera Overheating...Impossible to Unlock Bootloader. I think you should wait until the Z1 come out with Android 4.3 or Kitkat and see if this issues still there or not. Don't do the same mistake like us.
Honestly? I think this forum is full of paranoid people who likes to complain, or guys who overload thier phone with crap and mods untill it over heats and fc everything.
I'm super satisfied with my z1. It is a big phone though, very big mind that. The screen is brilliant a tad more yellow than other deviced perhaps but it's simply a pleasure playing games or watching movied with, even with few people watching, viewing angles have improved from previous Sony phones.
I can reproduce the touch problem if I try hard but on daily use it never bothers me... Hope it will get fixed...
Sound and call quality is excellent, best i've seen so far in a mobile phone, volume is very lound on earpiece and headphones.
Thats my take, don't bloat it woth crap and it runs fast cool and perfect

Euclyptos I think it's a small minority affected by touch screen issues, I'm definitely not, the bootloader unlock Sony made it perfectly clear that if you do so it will cause things to stop working ie the camera, not really a problem tbh and if your not happy with the phone sell it and buy something you can overload with cr*p!

Hi. Z1 is a great device. I may not have a giid screen as it has a yellow hue but it is still bearable as sometimes it is noticable and sometimes it's not. The camera is great but a little improvement wouldn't hurt. Camera apps are really really great most esp the Timeshift Burst, AR Effect, Social Live. Setting aside the yellow hue, the screen is great when playing videos and gaming. Sound is good for me, loud enough for me. Sony Media apps are the best. Hardware is very classy having the black one. Super premium feeling once you get hold of. Software side, very fast and very smooth. UI is so clean. I'm very satisfies with Sony's UI. I think for me it's the best (other company's are great too but this is just my preference ) Just make sure you get the later batches and triple check the unit first before purchasing.

Both of you, first of all I do not overloaded the phone, still stock. Overloading the phone with apps do not have influence on the phone in the first place. I am not paranoid as well. When you start play a game on your device and the virtual joystick will stop working or will go crazy OR some buttons will start be pushed even if you don't touch the screen, give me a call!! and not with just 1 game.
I already made a vid about this issue, and I will do another one when the joystick stop working in the middle of the game. Thank you.
At last I love this phone but I am disappointed, I hope to solve my problem with an update on 4.3 or 4.4, that's why I said to Wait and not to not Buy it.

I have been using this phone for three weeks now, and have zero of the problems listed. I have no screen yellowing, I have no touchscreen issues, and call me crazy, but I don't need to view my phone from some silly angle, I look straight on when I use it.
I was able to leave Samsung and take my 64GB microSD card with me. Big plus. I purchased an external battery case, just in case I needed the extra juice (which I never have).
I think the difference is I am an adult with a family and a job. I don't sit for hours on end on my phone playing games or surfing the web. When I am at home, I will use my Macbook Air or Nexus 7 for that.
This phone is amazing, the screen quality is outstanding (coming from a Note 2), the microSD slot is a godsend, and the phone just feels like Sony took the time to build a quality device. I almost went with a LG G2 until I held it. It's no better, if not worse, than any Sammy product... feels plasticy and not very substantial. The call quality via bluetooth was a huge upgrade as well. (don't see many people note that)
And the big plus, I have tested the waterproof capabilities twice; once in the shower and another time at the beach. Both times, I was floored. This waterproof marvel from Sony is just flat out fantastic.
Get to know how to use the manual modes of the camera, and there's no limit. (I think most of the complaining picture takers are lazy)
Just my two cents.
PS
I play games on my XBox 360 and XBox One, and my gaming rig for PC games. I don't need a phone for that, let alone a "virtual joystick". They have something for that already, it's called a Vita.
mate besides all the problems its a wicked phone. people prating with a perfect phone then moaning. let the phone get optimized properly ( right now everyones after updates) from sony
the touch screen is a minor issue with a couple devices affected (never the less point 1)
Screen issue some devices r and some are not ( tell u the truth if ur moving from a omled or soma like that then u will notice a difference like me (good one) but i have loved it as it like my telly but miniature)
cant tell a difference between my s!!! and this when it comes to sound quality of call speaker/ recorder
speaker at the bottoms tiny bit low but my amazing notification tone is annoying to every1 HAHA (incoming worms tune)
anyway u cant get everything in a phone perfect ( and then people who are not happy get the phones u like and shine them and then stick them straight in ur A**/ ears:laugh::laugh::laugh PEOPLE HONEST OPPINIONS PLZ:angel:

[Q] iPhone 5 or the XSP?

Hello,
Does anybody here know or at least suggest me, what should I keep (I already own the iPhone 5 but I can't use it when my parents are not at home) or should I go and buy XSP (there's a discount for this device otherwise I would need to consider about S3 Mini or Xperia M) which I could use at anytime I want? Thanks to everyone who answers!
XSP is heads and shoulders better than XM or S3. And since S3 Mini is a cut-down version of S3, both in size *and* specs, IMHO there is no reason to prefer the alternatives.
You do have to remember that moving to Android means leaving the Apple ecosystem behind. You'll have to repurchase apps, and there might be some games that are not available on Android.

You do have to remember that moving to Android means leaving the Apple ecosystem behind. You'll have to repurchase apps, and there might be some games that are not available on Android.

I know but I mean the key features like multitasking, camera, headphone that comes with the phone and so on. I know that some games on iOS aren't on Android (like Infinity Blade 2) but that doesn't matter me much, the only game I play on the phone is Clash of Clans and sometime (rlly rarely) I play Asphalt 8 (which I have purchsed for both Android and iOS, no worry for piracy) so.. I just care for the key features like the rear and the front camera. Both of the phones have 8MP camera rear camera but the exposure is different, is that a big difference between the quality? And like the screen, as I know the iPhone 5 comes with an Retina HD display and XSP with TFT HD display but with BE2/X-Reality so I don't which is better
Pretty much everything is better on the iPhone 5. It has better multitask, camera, comes with better headphones, has better hardware performances. As an XSP user, I can't think of a feature were the XSP is better than the iPhone 5, there might be some, but the iPhone is mostly better.

But as I know, Android was made for multitaking and for hardware, the XSP haves better processor and the camera is same or am I wrong?
If you want something that just works then the iPhone 5 is better.
If you want something you can play around with ROMs and have more control over the phone then the Xperia SP is better.
My preference is Xperia SP, I dont mind the iPhone as a device but its restrictions annoy me.

Android is made for multitasking, however, due to how newer apps are build, devices require more than 1GB to run smoothly. Sadly, the SP just has 1GB of RAM, which makes it slow at times. The processor is good, but the one on the iPhone 5 is the same, if not better. And no, the camera, while 8mpx, works better on the iPhone.

Hello,
Does anybody here know or at least suggest me, what should I keep (I already own the iPhone 5 but I can't use it when my parents are not at home) or should I go and buy XSP (there's a discount for this device otherwise I would need to consider about S3 Mini or Xperia M) which I could use at anytime I want? Thanks to everyone who answers!

The iPhone Camera is WAY better man.
The SP is awesome but as someone above stated,if you want something that works, the iPhone is better!
Good luck!

Ok but the iPhone still have only 1Gig RAM... Even some newer devices, even iPhone 5s didn't came with 2Gig RAM and for the headphones, both phone and headphone are using 3,5mm jack so... I can only think of the S5 and Z2(...?) to have 2Gig RAM so...

Can You post me some comparison pictures taken w/ the iPhone and the XSP? It would be really helpful.
Ok guys, looks like I'm more undecided now, can some1 do a +/- features for both phones (like comparing them). It would be great! Thanks! :highfive:
Edit1 : It would be even better, if any1 could suggest me a phone which I can play with the /system and do a normal work/sometime playing Clash Of Clans and Asphalt 8 and for music listening at the same time. I thought that the XSP can do it but it looks like it can't
Xperia SP:
+Design
+Loud speaker
+Bigger Screen
+Unique ilumination bar
+Runs a more "open" OS, Android (and outdated one)
-Camera
-Low RAM
-Materials used feels cheap at times
-Bad screen quality
Iphone 5:
+Design
+More apps
+More updates in the future (it will at least get two more mayor iOS updates)
+Premium build quality
+Better cameraS with slow-mo video (I'm not sure if it's the 5 and 5s or just the 5s)
+Better screen quality
+Better multitasking (iOS is more optimized for multitasking nowadays in my opinion, as iPhone 5 almost never lags).
-No unique feautres
-Speaker quality is okay.
+/- iOS is not as open as Android, but it's a beatiful design nevertheless.
This is what I can think of.

I can't post comparison pictures right now but there have been a lot of complaints about the XSP camera.
Some users are also experiencing some issues like blurring and extremely poor low light pictures.
If you need a good camera, dont get the XSP.
I don't think these issues are only with my device.
The phone is amazing in other aspects like hardware but if the camera is important, take a comparison from someone else has both the phones!
I'm sorry I can't put up pictures because I'm waiting at the airport
Good luck!
The camera on the SP is REALLY bad, the lenses even get scratched super easily, that's why people get blurry/overexposed pictures. If it's your priority, the more reasons to go for iPhone.

This phone can perfectly do that! Asphalt 8 runs fine with 0 lag on ultra settings and you should be able to play music when playing either of these games

And I know one thing about the i5: the WiFi sucks! My dad is always complaining about how he doesn't find any networks while I can find like 10 with my sp or that he can't connect to certain wireless network while I can

The SP had some WiFi reception problems (range) but the latest update has fixed it.
WiFi reception is perfect now!

Overall love

Yes, yes, it's possible to love a phone. Heck, you sleep next to it, don't you? Rate this thread to indicate your love for the Sony Xperia Z5, all things considered. A higher rating indicates that the Sony Xperia Z5 is an incredible phone that you enjoy tremendously. You love it.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
The best companion for me. Best cam, amazing audio, great gaming feel and the best fluidity
And lack of development...no custom roms, no cust kernels.. Thats the only thing i dont like about z5

The stock ROM is so good in this device, I would probably just stick with it. Unlike Samsung Galaxy phones which ruins the stock google experience, this one doesn't. It used to stutter and lag a lot on Lollipop, but after the Marshmallow update, 99% of the lag is gone.
i love it pretty, powerfull and slick
Obviously it's the best phone i've ever owned, coming from a nexus 4 and a moto G. Build quality, design, the beautiful screen, playstation exclusive features ( WHICH NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT FOR SOME REASON, EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE AWESOME???), the camera is great if you know how to utilize it, almost stock android experience. The only downer is the camera software, algorithm and the lack of full manual controls and RAW.
I had this phone for a while before giving it to my mom and stick to my old Z1.
Camera have very fast focus speed and good WB. Just need a better image processing software.
Stock Lolipop is buggy and very late Marshmallow update compare to other brand's 2015 flagship device. However, It's worth to wait because most of bugs were fixed.
I love frosted glass at the back too, easier to keep it clean than a glossy one at Z1.

To be fair, and assuming you are talking about the remote play stuff, the reason people don't talk about this is that it's not exclusive really. Some clever people ripped it and modified the apks so they will work on pretty much any phone. Not only that, the modded version is actually better as it removes the WiFi requirement so you can use it over a good 4G connection too!
Still awesome features, just not unique.
The Z5 is great, the Marshmallow update has boosted it a lot, thats for sure.
The camera isn't that great when it's a little darker. (Black becomes purple/blueish?)
The front camera is terrible when its darker.
My overall experience is still 5/5 because the sound is great, it has a really good battery life, and it never freezes or random reboots.
Great phone!
I tried to make love to it. Now I have a sticky phone
love it, but i hope there will be other CM or AOSP ROM so the phone could do more like Nexus 6P
I love my z5, i love sony since the very beginning. (since sony ericsson)
And like it or not, sony has the most stable android version, eventhough they are very slow at updates.
Im pretty satisfied with sony.
The only bad thing is, how hard it is to root sony and do stuffs like that.
Security and these stuffs make us harder to costumize our own phone.
I know sony have their own reasons. But at least, give us the simple damn chance to root our phone without unlocking bootloader
Gesendet von meinem E6653 mit Tapatalk
Absolutely love it!!! Moved from Z2 and it's the best phone I ever owned. Not sure why so many people have problems as I have not experienced any so far
Sounds like a defective unit, return it immediately.
Clearly I got a dud give the high ratings of this topic. The audio using Sony 5-pin headphones is ok but not great if you're after true HiFi clarity and audio detail. But trying to use third party standard pin headphones or line connections is a complete joke due to the phone not recognising the connection about 75% of the time and just spitting out hideous humming and buzzing noises. This was present from the word go and no method of cleaning inputs has helped. And the fingerprint sensor only works half the time with no rhyme or reason as to why it won't recognise the print. I have two Samsung devices and both have absolutely no issues whatsover.
So if this my lover, they'd be out the door with their bags trying to find a new home.
The best smartphone I've ever had.
Every Sony I get is just better every time.

It is one of the most beautiful devices currently! There are times when I'm looking at and admiring the device!
Pretty dissapointed with this device after having it for less than 4 months and moving from LG G2 and HTC M8.
Problems:
- landscape/portrait orientation switching stops working after some time, reboot of the unit gets it back alive, temporarily (happens after Marshmellow update)
- Yelow ghostly spots have started showing up on the upper left edge of the screen, most likely due to overheating (I'm using phone a lot )
- Finally, few days ago when I rinsed my unit in clean, tap water, some of it entered the unit and made it's place under the screen, making upper left corner of the screen (water entered from headphone jack?) glowing like it has brighter spill...
All in all, I wille try to return this expensive piece of faulty electronics, but I guess they will not accept to give me some other device...
Sony was my first Android device, but now I'm confident that it's the last one as well...
+ love the stock rom look
+ Super Video recording image stabilization
- Awful lag before starting video recording
+ Great photos in good light
- not so amazing purple & bluish tint in low light
+ Great sound
- Cheap headphones included
- I miss glossy glass back
Overall not so much impressed, but still a great phone.

Replace my iPhone 7 with this...?

Hi guys, I'm an owner of an iPhone 7 (second hand, but perfect) and a few months ago I had a Xperia X Compact (that I loved). I use both systems (iOS and Android) but I was thinking to come back to the little green robot. Do you think I'll lose so much in terms of video and pictures ? For the others specs I think it's a great phone, but I still have some doubts for the camera performances...
I hope in your point of view

The video camera is top notch and no sign of any distortion, aparently enabling steady shotseems to correct the image.
I think the problems with the stills camera are overblown, I've been taking lots of pictures since I received the phone and it's hardly noticable.
Given that it's an algorithum that fixes it, I am sure it's only a matter of time before Sony release a fix.
There are so many things that the phone does right. This is such a step forward fromm the X compact.

Thank you so much for your answer Didgesteve, I really appreciated that! One more question: what about the video quality in general? is it good? Especially for the Full HD (30 or 60 fps, I don't use 4k so much)...

Video quality is very good, better than the photo quality. The main ACTUAL problem with the camera is no OIS, so pictures can come out soft, especially in low light.
This may not compare well to your Iphone7 in many ways, but Android is a different animal, altogether. camera is not on par with Iphone7, but unless you are one of these camera snobs it isn't going to bother you much. Also, Android O has some bugs to be worked out, but nothing serious.

I see...no, I'm not so snob about it , I loved X Compact camera so much, and I found it much fun and interesting than the iPhone (in terms of software functions and possibilities), It's just curiosity because I read a lot of gripes about distortions, bad colours, and so on... I'm seriously thinking to give it a chance

colors do come out a bit red-ish in low light sometimes. you won't really notice the distortion unless taking a picture of a brick wall, checkerboard or something of the like.
if you liked the X compact that much, you will likely appreciate the XZ1 compact to a great degree. the camera is (arguably) the worst feature on the phone, and i still think it's a great camera. keeping in mind that it's not an s8 or iphone8, you'll have very little issues with XZ1C.
I bought a XZ1C for these reasons, (It will arrive this week)
1. Form factor - this phone is quite a bit smaller than the iPhone 7, and the 7 is already considered small. It is a tad bit bigger than the iPhone 5 (which had the best in hand feeling to me)
2. Battery life - Champion. I need a phone that will lasts all day and i've read nothign but amazing things
3. Android 8.0 - No other device than the Pixel 2 series has this update yet. Thats cool.
4. Camera Capabilities - It can do so much, including the 3D AR thing. Pretty fun, even if it isnt the best!
5. Headphone Jack - There is one, albeit the quality and loudness not the best, but it exists.
6. Memory card slot - Self explanatory.
FWIW, Sony have revealed that they have made a camera feature to fix or minimize the distortion on stills.
Refer to https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74266872&postcount=60 that post to see. If the camera was your only hesitation for the xz1c, this should alleviate a lot of that.
You can refer to Amazon and sell it off Đánh giá iPhone 7: Sức hút đến từ đâu?
