(Q) need someone help - Sprint HTC One (M7)

So I got a HTC one but didn't come with the 4g lte sim card, so the annoying notifications about no SIM can't be removed
My question is could someone get me a 4g lte sim card? Only reason I'm asking is cuz I'm not on sprint
Please and thanks

You should be able to use any sim card for it.

Nope I get the SIM lock

I went into a corporate store and so they say they don't have them,he asked if I was a sprint customer and I told him I wasn't a sprint customer
So maybe they do just not for non sprint customers

I believe they're only for Sprint customers, since it's for sprint Lte...you probably need to use a SIM from whatever carrier you're on.

I know I need someone on sprint to get one for me ,,, cricket doesn't use SIM cards

Not sure if anyone is gonna give you their simcard theres bound to be info tied to their account on it, so maybe see about buying a prepaid one for tmo or att or boost (if they have lte for it) and see if that works to stop message onlu cost you a month at lowest cost prepaid

I'm confused... I think we need to clarify some things here.
1) It sounds like you bought an HTC One without a SIM card, are you sure this is a Sprint HTC One? Why did it have no SIM?
2) Was your intent to get a Sprint SIM card and flash the phone to Cricket?
3) What are you looking to do with another person's SIM card?

1) yes I got it without SIM card and yes it's a sprint phone
2) I am already fully flashed to cricket, I just need a sim so this will go away
3) doesn't have to be someone active SIM, it could be an old one

Verizon getting HTC One

It's been rumored and all but confirmed since it was originally released on other carriers, but it was spotted at FCC. One thing... If they get an SD card slot I'm raising Hell. Who's with me?

Pretty sure that's not going to happen, unless it's not really a "One" but a variant thereof. If memory serves me right, the only reason One variants with SD card slots exist (I think the ones in Asia?) is because some markets use smaller radio kits, which allowed for just enough space to cram an SD card reader in.
Well I mean, Verizon has gotten their own special variants before, so I wouldn't rule it out of the question

Neither would I, but HTC has pushed pretty damn hard on keeping the One uniform across as many markets as possible, so it's less of a tossup than previous handsets.
Last years model of the one series the Sprints Evo LTE came with a sd slot and no other did.
I would gladly pay the early termination fee, resell my phone to get my money back, and switch over to Verizion. Hell, even if there's no sdcard slot, I might switch, because I getting sick of Sprint ahha.

I used to have the sprint/nextel network for my work phone and I loved the push the talk feature but sprint has went downhill and there coverage overall is horrible. The one thing keeping me at Verizon is the coverage. The prices are quite high though

[Q] HTC One and iPhone 5

Hey I have a sprint HTC One and im wondering if i trim my sim card and put it on a Sprint iPhone 5 would it work ? If it does can someone tell me.. I just want to swap phones whenever i want too
You have to call sprint in order to swap phones. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the SIM card is only for international uses. Not Sprint to Sprint

I don't think it works like that on sprint see the sim card is just to get on lte. I remember when I got my replacement HTC one the sim card stayed the same but in the system sprint said it didn't match the one they had on record so my phone wasn't connecting to LTE. After a quick call and putting the right numbers in I got LTE. So you would still need the phone to be active which involves calling sprint to do the swap

Yes. The phone uses the sim card to connect to LTE. That's the only reason it is there. Your phone number isn't attached to it like GSM. So swapping the sim card won't do anything.

Is the Sprint carrier unlocked?

Let me know
My All New One
No
Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
You will have to call Sprint International Services and tell them you are traveling overseas and if you meet certain requirements they will unlock it. If not you will just have to wait for somebody to find a fix if you want it unlocked.
To the 2 ppl that replied (and anyone out there) did you tried popping an att/tmobile Sim and see if it works? the m7 came unlocked no?

The M7 did not come unlocked. It was the same thing with that phone. You had to call to unlock it, internationally. It was them sim unlocked for all but you had to be rooted.

Sprint nexus 6 compatible with other carrier's?

I've searched everywhere.. All throughout the q&a but nothing so my apologies if I missed it or if this was posted/asked again... But anyway is the sprint nexus 6 compatible with other carriers like straight tall or att, T-Mobile, Verizon? And if so will it get 4g LTE on those networks?

yes. itll work on att, and sprint/verizon(if the imei gets put into their system since they are cdma carriers, or you put in a currently used nano sim). the tmobile nexus 6 is exactly the same as the one you buy from the play store.
I'm successfully using Straight Talk with the AT&T SIM on my Nexus 6 from Sprint. It's an unlocked phone despite what the guys at the Sprint store try to tell you.

just stick in your sim card and it should work automatically. if for some reason it doesnt, make sure that you are using a valid att apn. its not sim locked(like atts version), tmobile just lets a nexus be a nexus, for real.

No doubt, man, no doubt! I heard and read about that fiasco... The way I got this N6 is nothing short of a miracle. It fell right in my lap. Bought it from a girl for 50 $ because of a shattered screen, turned around and contacted Motorola and they already sent my replacement. I just received it today and Now after spending another 175 with Motorola I have a new N6! And, Motorola sent me a new one factory sealed in the box with all original charger, cord, box, etc! I didn't have any of that except the phone and all they want is the phone back! Crazy!!! I guess I was meant to use this phone because I did want it but the only way to get it was through AT&T's next program and I didn't want to do that, especially reading about all the issues. And, I really was happy with my one plus one. But fate decided it was time for change. So, here I am!
