I will try to make this as simple as possible as to point out where you went wrong
Underlined in red you will see the section of this site where developers can create threads to post there roms/kernels etc.
Ive also tried my best to Highlight in blue the section on which your post may have been more at home but at the same time research is also a good option

Today shortcut in start menu??

Please could someone advise how I might remove the "today" shortcut that I have in my start menu? Please see image below.
I've looked in the today list of programs to apply to the start menu but "today" itself isn't in there Is there any registry entry that I could edit to remove this?
Many thanks!

You've already asked this in http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=271711&highlight=#271711 so why start a new thread
I dont believe its possible, and please dont double post.
I asked serveral questions in one post in the general section. I since have had the impression that because of this, my smaller query regarding the today shortcut was being overlooked by most.
It was purely in the interests of finding a solution to what I beleived was probably a simple problem to fix.
I'll know to keep it to one question per post from now on.

Any noob guides?

Hey guys,
Is there any noob guides for upgrading roms and keeping the Tilt in general up to date?
I don't know what hardspl is, what soft/hard resetting means....etc. that's what I mean when I say noob....I am pretty good with computers though, so don't treat me like computer illiterate.
Look in My Signature and at the top of the list for threads that says "READ HERE BEFORE POSTING!"

[Guide] Simple Android Tutorials

Hi! I recently made a site to host my Android Mods and I decided to also put up some tutorials. As I couldn't really find some of these tutorials on other sites and I had to contact some developers to learn how I thought it would be a good idea to post my site here for others who need to do these simple modifications to their Android devices. I can also make new tutorials on request (as long as I know how )

These are the tutorials I currently have on my site :
Decompile Android Apps with Apktool
Change Navbar Size and Glow Animation Speed
Change Clock Color in Status Bar
Replace H icon with 4G on Android Devices
Thanks

No trying to troll or be a jack***, but if you are in doubt about if you can post something or not, why not just check the rules to see if it is allowed? Then if it isn't it would save the moderators some work.

HOW TO CYANOMOD STOCK Samsung Galaxy Plus (I9001)?

Hello guys, I'm sorry that I post this and a lot of people might have asked the same question and I know how terrible noobies are (I know it, I used to be a psp custom firmware expert).
I have a 2-years old SGS+ (I9001l which I haven't updated as there are no updates for it. I have read that the cyanomodgen of 4.2.2 on this phone works very fast and I'd like to work on with this.
I have been looking around and there surely are tons of threads but I honestly dont understand a thing.
Could someone PLEASE give me a very basic step-to-step guide of how to get a stock I9001, 2.3.5, to the cyanomodgen 4.2.2 (i think cyanomodgen 10.1 or 10.2)?
I would pay 5 euro (like 7-8 dollar) for the best guide.
Thanks in advance.

Use the i9001 WIKI, has everything in it to guide you.
You should post in the correct forum, just above i9001 has its own Q&A thread and using the search will give you faster answers. This is a community, most of us just help each other, money has no attraction here

I think this should be merged into the main root thread.

There is already a Question thread regarding root in this section. To find it, use the Search field at the top near the right:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This is the thread you're looking for:
You'll find your answers, particularly in post #9 in that thread. Note, the instructions are for the Tab S7, so anywhere it says Tab S7, just replace that with your model, so don't literally use the Tab S7 bootloader.

You have a point, but I think it's better to show new users how to find what they're looking for.
If I had time, I'd make a How To Guide thread, but I don't and probably won't have time for that, and I also don't like making a guide for a device I haven't received yet.
