No problem, once I build them for my xt907, its a peace of cake to port them to the mb886.

That +100. Once the initial rom is done, alls necessary is do the same exact things for the other phones.
To Eveyrone
If some of ya'll had any idea how easy it is to do we'd have a lot more roms available. For most roms, all ya gotta do is add in the Dev Team's CM repos, maybe tweak a few makefiles in device or device-common (just reference the SGS3), go to vendor/whatever, copy the SGS3 files and reword them for us, add us to the vendor/whatever lunch script....that's it. That's how almost all of us are doing the custom roms. I suggest the SGS3 because it has the same board as us (msm8960) and you want to reference a device as close to us as possible. What's cool is the X is supposed to have the msm8960 as well as being the same resolution as us....X better ship with a 4.3+ kernel that Hashcode, Epinter, Dhacker, and the gang can use.

Cool.. Any screenshots of this ROM? People who have flashed how is the battery life?? Thanks a lot for the ROM dude..

Hey guys, as of recently it has been tough to keep up with posting "OP Updated" whenever I update a ROM since I have quite a few ROMs I'm supporting on 3 different forums. So from now on, it is gonna be up to you to check the link in the OP for updates. I will be updating all ROMs regularly... So check back often. Thanks guys and ENJOY!

Good ROM thanks very smooth and I like the pie style
I see you ported chameleon OS

Probably this one or aokp. Used to be aokp no question... But slim has won my heart recently... Been running it for a week. Longest I have run a rom in ages.

I'm having some trouble getting Gapps to run on this ROM. I'm using the 7.8 version, and the Gapps from Slimroms for version 7.x. In particular, the Play Store keeps saying that there's no connection, even when there is - I can use the browser.
Any suggestions?

[ROM] AOKPCB ROM ⋮░ Built from AOKP Sources

Hi everyone,
I would like to introduce another ROM which is based on AOKP. This is not my work, and I just want to share it with. Scar45 made the theme for this rom. you can follow him
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629194.
Also you can check his mini-website for theme on nightly roms as well. As you can see in the tile there are 12 supported devices till now but more are coming.

This looks kind of cool. Just wish it toned down the circuit board graphic.
Agreed, i liked the little hints of circuit board you've decided to add. But you went kind of overboard with it, in certain places. (like the notification pull down menu)
Are you sure this is a rom? Or is it a themed rom?

Testing it right now.. I like it! It has loads of options in rom control. Like changing lcd density and software buttons on/off/customization. I haven't seen this before.
I like the option for weather in pulldown menu, but unfortunately I get "Rom control has stopped" message when enabling weather service.
EDIT: Maybe because I forgot to install gapps But now another problem. ALL apps I had bought from Play Store it wants me to buy again. I'm logged in to my google account and looking at the list of not installed apps and it asks me to pay for them..! Solved by downloading any free app I guess? Now all is marked as bought.
I've flashed this rom this morning with Trinity t11 kernel, all good beauty theme but for now i have founded a major battery drain

for 24/48 hours will continue to keep the T11 kernel of trinity, in case the battery drain should not settle, I will follow your choice and I will try with the mathkid kernel, you chose 19.5 cfs or bfs? [MOD] Search key to Recent apps AOKP-B40

***This project is no longer maintained following the release of AOKP M6***
Thanks for everyone who used it, maybe make a return in Jelly Bean
Modifies Search Key to Recent Apps instead of home long press. All credit goes to evilisto.
Compiled by me using code kanged from evilisto http://bit.ly/JJ88Jl
I know there is another thread but Since evilisto took a break there have not been updates
Thus I will compile and keep flashables updated with AOKP builds and every so often with CM9 nightlies.

AOKP M6 REVERT
CM9
**CM9 has now integrated the mod in the latest nightlies and only a key edit is needed now**
With a root explorer, open /system/usr/keylayout/cypress-touchkey.kl and change SEARCH to APP_SWITCH the reboot.
You can also going into /system/usr/keylayout/cypress-touchkey.kl and edit APP_SWITCH to SEARCH to restore search button.
Disclaimer: These may or may not work with ROM's based on CM9 or AOKP. If you try, prepare the revert with android.policy.jar pulled from your ROM zip framework.
CM9 nightlies are subject to change, which may cause incompatibilities. I will try to update weekly, but please post if it doesn't work for a specific nightly and I will try to update ASAP.
Does not work with ICS Slim right now.

Yeah apparently their frameworks differ too much to work.
Revert only replaces with unmodded. aokp policy.jar so same problem since not compatible.

Im guessing the CM9 one might work. Either that or the stock one(go to evilistos thread).
Otherwise might have to use Slim repo to get it to work.

There you have it, what I have been working on behind the scenes......AOSPA wasn't made for non-nexus+hdpi devices like the GT-I9100G, so certain parts may be buggy...I will try my best to fix them, but there is no guarantee...and as usual, no whining and no ETAs...feel free to report bugs but be as informative as possible...remember: logcat it or it never happened!

I was trying to push stuff into their gerrit but seems that it is down...lol

[INDEX] All Roms, Kernels, Recoveries, Radios for Wildfire

Hey guys as you all know that the old willdfire index thread is outdated and the owner has stopped updating it. I therefore decided to start a new one. It will be (hopefully) regularly updated.
Important: Please note that I am a human being like you so dont expect me to index all the roms in one day. Although I will fully try to update it but we have a new ported rom almost everyday so dont shout at me if I am late. Lastly I have decided to exclude some froyo and gingerbread roms which are buggy, outdated, discontinued etc.
Now to the real part

Build STK based ROMs for various devices. I used his build on g3 and they were as good as a LG firmware based rom could be. Speed, battery, smoothness all the typical stuff. Haven't used his shamu build so can comment on that. If you use please post your thoughts
ah ha ha, you guys are sneaky
I'm still in testing phase so not posting anything yet. 1.0.2 just got uploaded a few minutes which should fix some issues I had with the previous builds. SkyDragon will come to the forums once testing is done.
Sounds like a cool plan and rom! Keep us posted...
Thanks! Will do ^^
Will have Rom, Kernel, and also working on F2FS TWRP ^^
I can install with multirom but it doesnt boot up
Thanx

are you using my kernel instead of stock? and rom v1.0.2? If not. try rom 1.0.2. My kernel is the only one included that supports kexec hardboot but I don't run multirom myself so haven't verified it works completely yet. There's also a chance it will replace primary rom due to how the rom installs. Everything is still very much in beta at the moment. I've really only uploaded specifically for my team to test but if you know where to find it I can't stop ya

Meh, can't really do much now [emoji14]

Just give me feedback if you use it please. I know data/apps aren't installing, everything else seems to work fine, but yeah ^^
Edit: oh, and the stock kernel likely doesn't work with f2fs at the moment, need to recompile it. My kernel (zendragon), and elite kernel do work with f2fs however.
