Good I don't know whats wrong with everyone. Ive tried them all.Crossbreeder is crap.comadose is ok but makes gaming horrible andvi just don't see a lil bit of a better benchmark being worth it.

I agree. There are sacrifices for each one. It is possible to have it all except battery life can be an issue if you go too far haha.

Welcome to FactoryROM AOSP Project:Sweet. Due to the fact that the BETA
version of FactoryROM was so successful, I went ahead and compiled some

This is JUST THE START of a project that I have been working on. Basically I have a
very stable base with a great set of options to customize the phone to your personal
preference. I want to thank all of the hard working teams such as AOKP, CM,
EOS, Codename, and all of their dedicated members for making this ROM possible. Most
of the Android development I have done in the past has consisted of device ports and this
is my first real go at a AOSP source based ROM. I take NO CREDIT for any of the
functionality which is included in the ROM. I simply merged the existing source code to
produce a work of art. The next step for FactoryROM is to include some of my own

Most of the stock apps are already inverted, but I'm sure the inverted GAPPS will work just fine.
On a side note, how is everything running for everyone? Is it smooth enough? I don't have a Nexus S, so I can't test it personally... Keep me updated..

Just flashed this rom, and oh my.
The rom flies! Smooth as butter, no laggs at all, loving it!
Only thing i like to see added is the battery percentage in the status bar.
Honestly dont know why Google haven't added it themselves yet :/

Thanks. I'll look into adding some of that. Maybe I'll rebase it on aokp or cm so we have all of those features. Haven't decided yet...

Maybe better to keep it based on stock... there are already SO many aokp and cm based roms... fully optimized stock rom to avoid as many bugs as possible... just a thought, flashing your rom now to check it out!

i,ve got only couple of things to ask/request.
how can i get rid of Gapps, not all of them.
because i only use gmail and gtalk, the rest is only a waste of memory for me.
and the second, could you please add the navigation bar mod?

You can use titanium backup to delete any apps you don't want. As for the nav bar mod, I can look into that.

Glad to see you here in the nexus 4 forum DJ. I was running your ROM till version 8 on my note 2 till it was stolen. I got the Nexus 4 and I thought my frosty life was over, lol. Nice I think I might give this ROM a try. My buddy ptmr3 is part of Deviant Development, awesome guy and awesome dev as well. If you have ever owned a Galaxys S 2, 3 or Note you know DD make solid ROMs. :good:

I seriously don't know why but after deleting them using titanium backup application, I'm feeling weird that my phone starts lagging which in real it isn't, but you know human nature :/
Anyways, sorry if I'm demanding more than i should have but this is like my dream come true, having stock rom(as it has the speed) with fee important tweaks i need, so far I've got the stock rom with speed just few tweaks left to make it a perfect daily driver

This Rom is very clean but I couldn't use HTC restore because I wasn't able to sign into my HTC acct using Facebook. Also Facebook and Twitter arent available in Blinkfeed.

Yes you can, Use your file manager to delete. Im pretty sure i know what happened. Im going to use this release some what as a beta and i'll get everything worked out in the next update.so please post anything you may find.

You need to try another kernel, it will work, some kernels do not play nice...

yes sir, and we got permission from noobz to port that to G4, and my dev was all over that, Clev rocks, he did a good job with it, I do the roms, he does the mods...lol..

Alright everyone using this Super Awesome ROM... I have made some Mods. I made these for use for myself but thought I would share them.

I have simply changed the mount points to work on Sprint Ecliptic KitKat
You can reference Verizon Kernel Thread (Lunar), for latest changes. (Verizon Only do NOT Flash from download links in either thread). Removed link to avoid confusion, not hard to find.

**Sprint kernels are hosted on AFH (Androidfilehost), if you are downloading Sprint version anywhere else you are downloading from wrong link.
Please note that only supported kernel is stock kernel built into rom:
**Kernel is not officially supported on Sprint Device, however you can see that buckmarble and brymaster5000 will assist as time allows.
**Make backup, and as always flash at your own risk.
I have been running the OC kernels since December and have found there to be no issues. If you want to revert to included stock, you must dirty flash rom, or pull boot.img from rom and flash through fastboot.

ONLY PROBLEM i've come accross is native tethering, it connects but no internet access.

thanks hawk that fixed it.
Was working 5.5 goodness but flashed the blue 5.5. Theme and I lost my dialer...saw this and figured why not try hawks build...
Good job! Being I dirty flashed and only dalvik and cache wiped I was expectmy huge problems....but my problems I had are gone, lucky me.

Anyways, I have 2 little kids and don't have much time to research or the wife will kill me lol.
Two things...
1) I'm s-on with revone, 4.1.2 and on stock with goodies rom. Besides full wipe including internal storage, do I need to update h-boot, radio, and firmware?
2) Native tethering stable?

Just added native hotspot fix to OP flash Rom let it boot then flash the fix
And I never flashed the updated firmware

Awesome work! Love the inversion. Two things:
1: Is the Sprint native hotspot fix a fix to make it work, or a fix to mod it?
2: Sometimes in CDMA/LTE mode, and I'm on 3G, I get an unable to establish wireless connection error. Anyone else getting this or just me? It goes away after a few minutes though.
