Any IR remote apps that are compatible with the stock Google Play ROM?

I running 4.3 Google edition stock on my att htc one. What are you guys using as a TV remote app. I'm currently away from home in a hotel ND they have a generic remote that doesn't fully work :/

Aosp roms and GE roms don't have built in IR app. Does anyone know of any that are similar in functionality to the HTC one? I'm looking for one that i can tune directly in to a program using the channel guide (like the htc app). If that's not out there, is there any quality apps that can do the basic remote functionality?

I'm running the stock ROM and was wondering if anyone has the apk for the HTC TV app or an equally nice TV app I can get off the playstore... I've been searching play store and haven't found any remote apps that are made for the it blaster which would be a brilliant idea if someone wants to make one cuz there are a decent amount of devices with or blasters now... But I loved this feature and am kinda sad that I'm missing out on it now somebody help :banghead:

Sorry, but no other TV app is as nice as the HTC TV app. I'm searching a few weeks now, but didn't found any good ir app the the M7.

I have All Access in Google Play Music, and use it on both my HTC One and my Nexus 7 2013. I noticed last night that I have gapless playback on my Nexus, regardless of whether the songs are downloaded or not. I also have gapless playback on my laptop, playing from the Web page. My One continues to have a slight gap between songs. Both services are running stock Android 4.4.2. I couldn't find any way to make changes in settings. Any idea how I can get this to work on my One?

are you using the stock app for your nexus 7? i know the stock music app from google does allow that but the stock HTC sense music app doesnt allow that. so thats where you might want to clarify
No, in all cases in using the built in player for Google Play Music.

In fact, I don't think the Nexus even has a music player other than Google Play Music.
