Here is a flip case on eBay but I'm using a Silicone Case and i would recommend this to every zr user.
Flip cases are for big and broad phones, our XZR is a pocket-able phone .
A flip case would be not be so easy to use.
I request mods to move this topic to accessories section.

Nillkin has one, check their homepage or ads on eBay.

How about using a scratchfree screen guard ?? that's way more comfortable..although it wont protect from breaking :good:

Well, I'll compare it with car bumpers. So none of the car bumpers isn't covering it's floor, likewise phone bumper doesn't cover it's back.
Can you dig it?
well i guess....that : put sunglasses: a bumper....YEAHHH !!!!

I have one for my S3. But yah no luck. I haven't found any for our phones yet. I contacted the company but they said that at the moment they have no intentions of supporting our phones. Sucks. This phone has the worst luck with anything. I still love it tho. Lol.

Thanxs for good explanation, but what is than this that we called bumper?

I've been thinking about cutting the back off of my cheap gel case. Or buying a rubber wrist band and cutting out holes for the ports/buttons.
Is there any special advantages of having a bumper over a gel case?

I'm really satisfied with my gel case. Try s-line gel case for your phone in eBay. I got mine for under 5€.

I recommend this case great and adds no bulk to note 2 i give it a 10 out of 10

I purchased this case on ebay great price free shipping phone looks good protects note 2 just fine it doesnt make bulky heres link to purchase and pics http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=281028003729

This case is only good for protection from scratches. While using this case I dropped my Note 2 from 2 feet onto pavement and the screen cracked. The case is great if you want something very slim but I wouldn't trust it for drop protection. The casemate tough case is also very slim but provides 10 times more protection.

I only use this case for after work during work i use a otterbox commuter

Yep, read another post with someone dropping their phone using this case and it shattered the screen. It's slim and protects from scratches, but next to nothing drop protection.
+1 for Case-Mate Tough as one of the slimmest cases with a drop protection on par with other cases twice of it's thickness.
awesome!
I just like this case cause phone still looks sexy with it and im pretty carefull with my phones but i do construction work so otterbox comnuter goes on at work

I like my cruzerlite case, this doesnt look all that great.
Lol but everytime i see Verizon customers with note 2 it makes me giggle, cuz of that home button advertisement.

I have the aluminum button from spigen over the home button for that very reason.
Back to this case to be honest I didn't even think it looked all that great. The back is an absolute grease and finger print magnet.
After getting my phone replaced I tried out the seidio surface case (which I liked, good kickstand) before finally settling on the casemate tough case. It seems to be the perfect marriage of slimness and protection. Although I'm probably going to order the seidio convert case add on for the surface case I already own for those trips where I might want additional protection.

It comes in 3 colors for 10 bucks. Actually the black and silver look very nice, much better than stock and I actually prefer the tactile feel. It has a very nice metallic spiral design. I was concerned about the button moving around but after 3 weeks so far the adhesive is very good. I'd recommend it especially if you have a Verizon note 2.

I had a slim case on my N2 once, a Nilkin one but pretty much the same design as this one.
Then I dropped my phone whilst getting out the car, and now I have a dirty great big crack across the bottom of my screen. No insurance...
Now I have my phone in an Otterbox, with a film screen protector to hopefully stop the crack getting worse. I has a very big sad.
Do yourself a favour, avoid slim cases as they're worse than useless. They give a false sense of security that WILL be shattered, along with your screen, when you drop it. If you're going for a case, get something that PROTECTS!
That's exactly what I just wrote in another thread for Case-Mate Tough. If you want a super slim case, great grip, and durable corner protection to give you a piece of mind - there is no better choice but Tough case.

Alternative To Otterbox Defender

What is an alternate case to the Rugged Defender W/Zero Lemon Battery...
What off Brand ones have people been using?
I don't think anyone is using anything besides the modded defender (or deNfender Chinese knockoff) or the tpu it comes with...
I'm using the tpu with a flygrip and a home made flip cover that I keep improving.
Going to post pics today but don't know if anyone will care. But it works for me! lol

Custom cases?

R there any protective custom cases? I might wanna make my own custom but then they don't look very protective

There are some pretty good YouTube videos on how to make leather cases. Adding padding to something like that isn't hard and not too expensive.

Got Bored from the Slippy Grip_Note2_N7100

Hi everybody,
Here you can post your experience about the slippy grip of your mobile (especially N7100), and how you've got rid of it; either with using special casing or without using any casing.
Thanks for your participation.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
I didn't. The Note 2 needs to be slippery for me so it can slip into my pocket.
I tried to use casing, but itmakes mobile looks bigger, also I removed the chrome from the bezel thinking it will help, although it looks more fun to me but still very slippery. I'm searching here and there, the only reasonable solution is to replace the battery cover with one like Note3 battery cover, but it's not available in markets in my country, I have to go through ebay or amazon

If you're willing to try; you could spray it with Plasti-Dip http://www.plastidip.com/
It will give your phone a rubbery/grippy feel, but is easily removed if needed.
You could either spray the battery cover with it, or also spray the bezel as well for ultimate grip.
I use an Imak Cowboy shell case; it has a really nice/grippy texture and adds very little bulk to the phone. You can pick them up for $10 on eBay.

I find the Ringke Slim case adds a nice level of grip, or rather adds a non slippery surface that's grippy enough. It still slips effortlessly in and out of my pocket. Also it really doesn't add any bulk at all. Try a search and I'm sure you'll see some photos.

Sure. I'm loving this case: it's nice and grippy, fits snug, and looks pretty good. Not bad for $10 shipped.

took your advice. put plasti-dip on the back cover and its freaking amazing. no more slippery note 2.
i had ordered the 'leather' back cover but that didn't provide any grip. plasti dip is amazing.
thanks

Scotch Brite scouring pad might do it.
I recall people using that method to give a 'matte' appearance to the GS2 plastic bezel.
