Take a look at this thread dude...
As far as I know, you can't directly use a .tar file... you will have to extract or copy the files and folders from your phone and then put them on your PC.. more info are there on the thread.... :good:

CWM backup files can be used. I was using that before. System.img I think. Not sure for TWRP recovery backups.

I tried flashing some mods but it did not work on TWRP (TWRP gave me some flashing error) but when I tried with CWM, it worked... Funny thing was that the developer of that mod clearly mentioned to use CWM not TWRP.. donno why?!

Nope
Maybe that's why....

I've tried to add (more) support for the kitchen and dsixda has just approved the changes https://github.com/dsixda/Android-Kitchen/pull/19/files.

The main problem I have with dsixda kitchen is that it doesn't recognise hidden.img.md5 (preload partition) and I have to extract it manually and add all the apks to /system/app, which makes the ROM bigger then the partition /system :/
Edit: I forgot: it doesn't recognise kernel.bin.md5

I read couple of comments there, and to some people it cause a bootloop. So I would not suggest you to try it, it is abandoned theme for our device.
If you want you can make nandroid backup in TWRP, and try it. If you get a bootloop - just restore backup.
You can flash IAdvance v4 if you want. But don`t flash Icon Pack, you will get bootloop.

Download first.
If it contains boot.img, it most probably is the stock kernel.
Well, if not, I think you can get one from the files that you usually flash with Odin. I do remember seeing a boot.img in one of the compressed .tar files.
Yes it contain

If u are tired of TouchWizz try Ressyrection Remix v5.1. It has good perfornance sooo much personalization options.
And i u wont like it try others AOSP roms.

If you want stability, battery, performance and obviously kitkat, try AOSP by J-team. For me it's just awesome

Ok.
So u have rooted jellybean.
Go to CoCore thread and install CoCore witch CWM.
U are I9070 user so install CoCore E. Move downloaded .zips (i recommand to check Md5 sum before installing if md5 is wrong re-download occrupted .zip) to Sd card and than follo the instruction in CM 11 thread.
Caution : I am, this forum is not responsible for any damge tob your device.
I dont think nandroid backup is needed because if instaltion went wrong u should use Odin.
If u will have any problem with instalation ask me.

U dont need to install latest version id CoCore but from this two versions install CWM Touch .zip. CWM is better than TWRP. For some resons TWRP is gaving some problems witch installing some ROMs.
And one thing.
After installing CWM touch .zip u will have CWM but touch version.
