Galaxy Note from amazon.de... how long?

To those of you who bought from amazon.de. How long did it take from ordering to in your hand?

five days for amazon.de

They normally ship out the next working day, then is two days wait for shipping by City Link.
My order was shipped on the 2nd, it is currently on the delivery van.

Yes, ordered on Monday, shipped on Wednesday, delivery before 5:30pm today and back to Amazon.de for refund next week.

Whats up with it?

I ordered late on Wednesday night. On Thursday for most of the day the status on the Amazon Website was "shipping soon". Late on Thursday I received a despatch/tracking email. I find it quite interesting to note the wording of the status recorded on the amazon.de website....

It looks like it has shipped from Amazon's UK distribution centre at Milton Keynes.
Anyway, Amazon says delivery for Monday but City Link says delivery today by 17:30. However, there is no sign that it is out for delivery - yet.

EDIT : As at 12:52 pm on Friday my City Link status has not budged at all from the status assigned on Thursday evening....

Yet still they are showing a planned delivery time by 17:30 today (Friday). I would have expected it to have been received at Chelmsford distribution depot by now (20 miles from me), hours ago in fact, and loaded up for delivery if they are to meet their planned schedule. It doesn't seem to be a very informative or up to date system.

ordered on tuesday. location london. still no status at london citi depot. spoke with citi link guy and he says amazon have to send it independently to citi link first which probably explains the delay.
Confused how you could have actually received it in two days guy above. And why sending it back ?

Did your City Link tracking page ever update between initial collection from Amazon and delivery to your address? I've been staring at a page all day which shows a planned delivery by 17:30 today but the status is still stuck on "scanned at collection depot" from yesterday. I would have expected to see some sign of "out for delivery" by now if they were to hit their target. Perhaps they just don't bother with intermediate status updates.

Citylink initially said delivery for the 3rd but it never changed from what yours says. Today however it changed to..

I called city link and complained that it said delivery for yesterday and I took the day off etc. But don't fear it will arrive tomorrow i bet

From past City Link deliveries they say 'Loaded into a van for delivery' etc.
Give em a call, you might be able to collect it from your local depot or something. City Link are pretty good like that

im getting the exact same as tdodd except mine is 3rd november. Would assume then I'd expect these updated for delivery so could arrive tomorrow now . presuming they update early in the mornings.

I have a feeling I've just wasted a day and will need to repeat the exercise on Monday.
I wouldn't mind, but my poor dog wants her walk and I daren't leave the house in case I miss the delivery.
I've tried calling a couple of times but just get a recorded message that they are busy and the phone hangs up. I've now resorted to using their contact form and am awaiting a reply to that. By the time I hear anything it will probably be too late to be of any use.

Indeed amazon and citylink both said the 3rd for delivery. When it didn't turn up I called citylink who said amazon have it. So I emailed amazon and they said citylink had it. I expressed my concern it was a high value item and no one was admitting to having it. Amazon said if it hasn't turned up by the 9th to call them back. Today however (4th) it changed to loading onto van so I knew it was coming. There was 0 activity on the citylink tracking page at all on the 3rd. It only changed today

5 p per minute, more from mobile amazon citi link calls, maybe if i had ordered from aamazon.de a day later I could have spent the £50 id save on calling them asking where it is

Which number did you call for Amazon? Did they speak English?

Currys uk preorders only

Hi if anyone else here has ordered from the Currys store in uk please discuss it here shipping and dispatch confirmations etc so far Currys is stating 19th July as arrival date.

I ordered from Currys.
Mine is still showing as
Delivery within 3-5 working days Thu 19/07
Got it at a bargain price of £189.99 Delivered

I'm hoping they'll deliver faster than 3-5 days

I don't know why but I have 2 nexus 7 tablets showing on my order page. One of them is showing the delivery date and the other is showing the same thing as your picture. I have only been charged once though. I ordered on the 29th
The same thing happened when I ordered the Xoom from them.

They've taken the money already for the order I have e-mail confirmation of and it's delivery status is "Your items will be dispatched as soon as stock is available"
The second order (it's # is 96 on from the other order) shows as "Delivery within 3-5 working days Thu 19/07"
Bit miffed they took the money from my account so early, and obviously might have the hassle of having to return a bogus order..
Still £189 (and I whopping £2.37 tracking in quidco) is good enough, I can always let a mate have one at cost , £189 ain't bad..
Plus I have a Google order I made within a couple of hours of launch, I'm hoping that comes next week!

Yes, only Google will be selling the 8gb version. All retailers will get the 16gb version

I have 3 orders showing and to be honest I have no idea how their system works. 1 showing 'delivery soon as stock etc..' and the other two states '3-5 working days 19/07'. I called them a day after I found out. Chap on the phone said it should only show 1, asked him to cancel the two dormant ones. He said he did, but they were still there. However I was assured only one payment was taken.
The whole thing just seems like a shambles, we shall see.

Looks like USA have had there pre-orders shipped from the play-store.
Has anyone from the UK had any shipment email from Google?
eBuyer seemed to has sent there's out early but have apparently since been told by google to halt them.

Has it got any defects? i have read in a thread or two some of the early ones ebuyer sent out might have been part of a recalled batch (that where meant to go back to google) with a defective adhesive. Some people are reporting the screen coming away from the body of the Nexus.

I haven't noticed any problems with it. I've hardly put it down since I got it yesterday so it's had quite a bit of use. Screen seems pretty solid to me. Overall, the build quality is excellent. Very pleased with it. I heard someone got a defective screen with ghosting on it.. unrelated defect though. Hopefully the defective models you're talking about don't go out to too many people.

Easy tiger! The screen issue has also been reported by people stateside (i. e. Not from ebuyer) and the "recalled batch" in that same thread is conjecture from someone without providing any proof as yet. The rumour mill is working full swing and needs no further encouragement!

I doubt it'll actually be pushed back that far, but as you said, it's saved you a tenner, £20 if you include the shipping charge from the Play store.
It's "nice" to see that noone else in the UK has heard back. Much more reassuring than the general thread in the stickies. Hopefully we'll all hear back on Monday! :fingers-crossed:

Anyone preorder real early and still not have shipping info? I preordered at 1130 cst, June 27 (before the play store was taken down) and still have no shipping email. My wallet account is unchanged, though it does show my order. I've seen several reports including a friend of mine who ordered days after me getting their shipping emails. Does Google not ship their product's in the order they received? Anyone who ordered that first day early not have their shipping info?

At least, when you call their hotline, they answer your call in the order in which it was received!! Not sure how shipping the newest orders first is a good business practice. (Based off the thread with all the order information, I believe there is a clear pattern to shipments)

I'm frustrated because I'm not allowed to cancel an order that was not charged. Was not shipped. Was not communicated. Is it not clear to all that they dropped the ball with LIFO shipping??
This is NOT about the set expectation of 2 to 3 weeks! That is completely understood! This is about how things in life work! Waiting in line for concert tickets before they sell out comes to mind. You get them based on your position in the line! If they sell out then sorry... Rather than waiting a week to order, some people were sitting and waiting for the ability to order first!

There were plenty of people watching the keynote. Google fans, press, and competition. As fans which ordered their device as soon as the order site came up, why are we being made to wait at the back of the line??? And people that were slow to pull the trigger are getting all their shipping info first??? Am I missing something? Is this bizzaro ordering???

Ordered a 8GB during the keynote on the 27th + ordered the gray case. No information received yet. I already picked up a 16GB model at Sam's so I am going to return the 8GB to Google Play... but I would love the case!

I ordered on the 28th and I haven't been charged or seen shipping.
I also ordered the case, so maybe that's holding up my status change.

I was late to the game compared to some of you other guys. I preordered the evening of the 10th. A day later I was charged, which told me maybe it has shipped? I've received nothing though, and I can't seem to find a way within Google Wallet to check the status of the order number.
I can't argue though, since a lot of you guys ordered far before me and are still waiting. But I share equal curiosity in regard to having some sort of further notification on the subject.

Play store on June 27th. Got tracking # on Saturday. 16gb. No case.

You aren't telling the entire story. Did you order a case with your order? Nearly all the orders I've seen that haven't processed yet were ordered with the case. There are many stories in the sticky post.

Ordered on the European launch day and replying to this thread with my shiny new OnePlus 3T 128gb. Sorry, I know it won't make you feel any better but I have a story to share.
I stayed up till midnight to order my OnePlus 3T. Soon after midnight, I got hold of 128gb version and it showed in stock with immediate delivery. Once my order was placed, I checked the order page and it showed delivery for 28 Dec instead. That was sad. I went back to the store page and checked the delivery time and it now showed 5 weeks. I thought I was out of luck and missed the opportunity to get the phone early. I contacted the support over chat and asked them the reason for this. They explained that the availability and shipping dates are updated directly from the manufacturing and we can only trust what's mentioned on the website.
I closed the chat and went back to the store and this time it showed me 128gb version again in stock available for immediate delivery. I added it back to the cart and checked out as quickly as I could. This 2nd phone that I had bought showed the shipping date of 29th Nov, whereas my first phone was still showing 28th Dec. I found it very strange but at the same time happy that I managed to find one that is available for early delivery. I went ahead and cancelled my first order.
I received my phone today. This just exposed some serious issues with OnePlus ordering and delivery system. I cannot complain but I can really understand what went wrong with your order.
Hope OnePlus will be able to identify the issue and send you your phone quicker.

I placed my order about 4min after the release in Europe.
Said delivery on the 2. Dec.
a few minutes later it changed to 6.Dec
2 days passed until it's finally shipped.
Today I checked the DHL website, it seems the phone is actually dispatched from Berlin. On the exact same day when OnePlus mailed me it's been shipped off.
DHL says it's gonna be delivered TODAY before 1 pm.
I think this proves that phones already arrived in Germany before its release.
Whoever orders it early, gets the units from OnePlus's EU ware house. Whoever did that later, gets the units from China.
Does it make sense?

I plan on ordering a 128GB very soon, and these lengths are a bit ridiculous. Maybe those dates are just the latest on when you'll get your phone, but you'll likely get them sooner as soon as they are in stock again?

I was emailed on the morning of 28th that it was at my local O2 drive one and a half hours to get it to find that it wasn't there while people where buying them in front of me :crying: but getting delivered by Thursday morning :laugh:

I live in The Netherlands and my OP3T 128GB arrived yesterday from Poland. The shipping and delivery was insanely quick.

Yeah, I asked OnePlus support folks and they said it's coming straight from the warehouse. I couldn't careless about where it's coming from as long as it reaches me quickly ?
Loving the device so far! It's a little too stock for my taste but I'll find the apps for my usage.
