[Nexus S Rom] Formels MIUI Mod 1.38.9 eeEvil fast[09/28/11]

Hey,
after many testings and looking for best components for my ROM I have now decided to share it with you.
I don't know if you know my MIUI Mod for Nexus One, but I think you will like it.
I think, I can say, that this package is selected very fine. The included kernel works very good with this ROM and so you can enjoy it without test yourself out.
Update:
I'm glad to tell you some news.
I don't know if you know Touchpal. This new touch performance is now included to my ROM. For now, touchpal is free on the android market.
In the future, touchpal will become a paid app.
And now the best on this story:
Formels MIUI Mod Users become the TouchPal Keyboard free for Lifetime.
I've asked the developers of Touchpal to include their keyboard to my ROM and they liked the idea so much, that we can do this now.

* If you come from another MIUI ROM with the same base, you only have to wipe caches and dalvik cache

But how can you give me the credit, when you don't have permission to use my work?
I put a countless hours in developing of my MIUI MOD, and you just take the scripts out of my ROM? You should think about your work as "Recognized Developer"
Nice to see putting effort and time into making a new "ROM", but you also could have made a theme for my MIUI ROM and provided it to the users.
Oh, do you have the permission from BuglessPete to use his kernel?

Yes it is 2.2. The clock in one of the screenshots(with launcherpro) is found on xda, if thats what confused you.

Ok my bad for jumping on you without checking the zip,screenshot shows an app that is not developer friendly. Promotion of such apps is not good.
Still I standby my words of at least trying to get permissions from the apps developer to include the app in a rom.
Also you could do so much more in reducing the bloat on this if you looked into things a little deeper.
I welcome all new roms so long as the effort is put into making it different from the norm.
Goodluck and I apologize for my over the top previous now edited post.
You would be wise to learn rules and common etiquette regarding xda and developement.

Its seems like there is a tonne of paid apps in here. I havent looked either, but looking at the screenshots it seems that way.

That was just an insult that I couldn't tolerate. Kylon is great at what he does. He had tried his level best in cooking such great roms. And about what you mentioned about links to his previous work, if you want I can upload it and give it to you. Hope I wasn't rude. I was just trying to be pretty straight

Yep just done the same lol. But there is nothing special here, this could be stripped so much without any issues.
I tried download twice straight after my op, both failed!! Did otf get to his zip and edit it before a successful download was made by us? And removed some apks? Mmmmmm I guess we will never know.
Was online at time of post ...........now gone lol.

Don't be so stupid...........
This could possibly be the start of another great rom for the wildfire. Probably not but still give the guy a chance before you jump down his throat. I know i normally jump on the bandwagon or even start it rolling when so called devs open threads with something we already have but apart from some silly mistakes in the op (*****ing about other roms bugs and saying this is the smoothest experience) i can't see anything wrong with him posting a new stock rom. Just think if people didn't take stock roms or stock aosp roms and modify them you wouldn't have cm, miui, lewa, mokee os etc etc
I'm not saying this rom will be the next *any of the above* as thats impossible for one man to create from a froyo rom but give him a little chance.
Only thing i'd ask the mods to do is delete every post in this thread except the first few......

I hear what your saying there scratch, I agree on giving him a chance. As ive said if its got something different! Then why not. On looking at the rom its not got any special twists or turns I'm afraid. As we both know sense roms are somewhat the easier to mod and make look quite unique to our likings. I still wish otf the best of luck with this though.
I also + 1 on mods to delete all posts baring initial op and lets start again.

Sorry guys, I'm no developer. I'm just 17..I just wished to share my try on a perfect rom. As the world caters to bright pages I designed the first one. However it's upto u to have it or forget it. Really sorry about blackmart. But almost all the apps I have are free. Hope u treat it as a way u would have expected had it been ur first thread.
Edit: Hello all, at first I didnt get what u guys were saying. Now I get it. I need to clarify. This zip never contained any paid/free apps. Im educated at least till this level. I have tested before for some devs. RGUI, Omega, Simplistic Rom so i know the amount of work that goes in to it, and the amount of work that goes in to build the roms. I could help to test some in the beginning but i have a hard time to stay on it. Im in university and we have alot of work. But i would be glad to help in the beginning so we get the rom going. Heres a link for N8000 firmwares http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N8000 the newest is LI5 but i dont know if it has all the locales. I tried the thai region one and it was strictly Asia and english locales, dont know about Australia firmware. But LI4 has all the usual languages and its not much older. About 10 days older.
So if you decide to play around and need help, PM me.

It automatically runs on boot but I also included it and a few other scripts in system/xbin/scripts. This way you can tweak to your liking.

I have been enjoying it myself. Another senior memeber from the original 10.1 tab made it. I only tweaked it to work for us. When I get time later I am going to give him credit and a link to his thread.

They run on each boot. I did included them under system/xbin/scripts so you can tweak to your likeing. Just use scripter from the market and run as root.

Please Note. I use TWRP. I do not support any other recovery's (because I don't use them therefore I don't know anything about other recoveries)
* Download the rom
* Boot into recovery (Holding down the Power button for 30 seconds will suffice. This is like a battery pull in case you didn't know. Also hold the volume up and power button reboot begins. Once you see the S4 screen and small blue letters at the top left, let go of the buttons and recovery will boot)
* Go to wipe and do a factory wipe (which is: Data, Cache and Dalvik) or flash [URL="http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23134718111252482"]THIS[/URL] (to install click on install instead and install the wipe zip)
* Go to install
* Go to where you saved the rom on your phone
* Install it. Wait it will install and go to a reboot menu
* Reboot. The initial boot takes approximately 3 minutes. If it goes past 5 min reinstall or redownload and install. MAKE SURE to check the md5 folks...
* Enjoy

VVM. It doesn't work... Sorry about that. But here's the fix...
Step 1, download the VVM apk from [URL="http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23134718111253332"]HERE[/URL] and store it on the memory of your phone or sd card.
Step2, Delete the VVM in system/apps on the root of your phone (it shows as VVM.apk and you will need a File Explorer with root access such as Root Explorer).
Step 3, Under Settings/Security on your phone make sure to check Unknown sources.
Step 4, Using the File Explorer go where you stored the VVM (com.coremobility.app.vnotes-1.apk) and install it.
Thats it. It looks harder than it is. You will now receive several texts saying your VVM is working. Just disregard them...

Would you flash older OTA's on a newer ROM??? That's the only question that needs to be asked. I mean just check the numbers...

Just disguised as 4.3.1. There isn't even 4.3.1 for Sense yet. There's 4.3 Sense 5.5

I have installed the ROM and it booted without any issues.
My first impression is the rom is fast and smooth no noticeable lags. And it has locksreen styles which SVHD lacks.
Will post a thorough review after using sometime.
Try it if you like sense 4.1.

The bugs so far are the front camera fc. I think... Because I don't own this device I am attempting to make ROMs for phones similar to the Desire HD so I need to see people's reports about the ROM.
