Don't know if anyone saw this yet and haven't seen a post, but it is official. The CM team has picked up support for the Atrix HD. Here is the article on Android Police and the official CM page.

I'm assuming you're one of those people that jump to conclusions. Yes, I used the search, been around and cooked enough on the windows mobile platform on here and other forums to know better. Found nothing when I searched. That is why I posted. So thank you for assuming, but your assumption was wrong.

Yeah. I saw it. Did a forum search using the keywords official, support, CM, and Atrix HD. That post didn't show up. If it did wouldn't have posted. My point towards Echo is to not to assume and to be a bit more friendlier. This is after all a community to help others and to spread information. Bad will towards other would have not be tolerated in the forums I modded and administrated on. The mods can deleted this thread since it doesn't serve any purpose since the information was already posted. I hate useless posts. That's why I only post when I have something to say. Thank you for pointed out the post.

@Matt
The point of the search is so you don't have to scroll to find what you're looking for. Unfortunately it isn't perfect and will not always find what you are looking for.
We could probably discuss this all day, but what would be the point. It happened. Let's all just move on.
Mods - Please either lock or delete this thread.
Thanks.

Hey guys, it looks like the HTC Rezound is close to getting S-Off by Evil. If you didn't know, the Rezound has had a locked bootloader all this time just like us. Can we look to how they got root to help with our own efforts. The method of getting S-Off between these two phones can't be that different, can it?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1375598
EDIT: Apparently links to his site are prohibited. But just google "s-off think tank" to get to Evil's site.
They look close resembling. Worth a shot and try.

I'm pretty sure the internals are very very alike too. The only difference I've read is the screen size. They both came out around the same time, so I'd think they'd be locked in a very similar fashion.

I hope so... That seems to be a pretty good option right now. I posted this same thing in the "think tank" thread in the dev section, so hopefully a skilled dev can take it into consideration.

Apparently he is very very close. The link said days, if not hours away. Would he be the one to tweak it for us or would one of us have to? I'm not even sure if we could post our version on here though, XDA is pretty ant-anything that involves him. Maybe he could post our version on his site.

Look, I don't like the guy and I think his attitude is terrible and he deserved the ban he got. But can we refrain from saying stuff that isn't true? It does nothing for guiding people to an eventual unlocked rezound (or vivid in this case). Open is supposed to be was android is about... not squelching possible advancements based off a personal problem.
C'mon now you're a moderator. Please conduct yourself accordingly. You could have left it at, "You can link his twitter, but you can't link his site."

As I appreciate your enthusiasm for moderating me. The statement was made intentionally. As I have had this thread topic in multiple forums and the dev in question prompts flaming from discussion as to why we can't link his site. Most people on here either love or hate the guy, I am cool with him. My statement is made because that's the reasoning behind not linking his site. I can post it when I did or we could wait until it was asked, I chose the pre emptive approach to avoid someone literally saying something negative about the dev and xda. If you have an issue with my statement please address a senior mod or admin.

I use the xda app and don't see a thanks button. But does it make a difference if someone tells you thank you or hits the thanks button? A lot of the people who need help on here is because they haven't taken the time to read through the information and follow instructions. If they can't take time to read and follow instructions, can't really expect them to click a thanks button.

Oh I know grouper developing will continue. Sorry I'm not good at expressing myself in forums and threads as I tend to trail off. Its a fact that there are some ROMs and kernels that have been, well -abandoned- for lack of a better word. I'm just trying to thank those devs that have moved on for whatever reason. I had the first kindle fire and was actually surprised to see people dev.ing for Otter. Guess I need to brush up on my online communication skills. I've miscommunicated my point on more than one occasion lately. Think I'll stick to just downloading and let everyone else do the talking.

With all the tech genius on the forum I was wondering if anyone could change the stock Walkman widget a little. Basically it's a bit out of place on my home screen with its dark background as all my widgets have no background.
Could it be changed to clear? Before its mentioned, no I don't want to use a different widget for it. I like the Walkman one.
I'm running Xperia Launcher 2.0.5b found on the forum. I can't find the link to the thread again though. I'm on a C6603, 4.1.2, locked bootloader.
I'm using the launcher as I like the extra little bit of customisation over the stock home. But would go back if needed
I hope someone can help.
Thanks

Let me quote certain points about what you are minsunderstanding about XDA developers:
XDA is and always will be about the developers.
XDA is not a place to come and make your phone cool.
XDA IS a place to come to learn and share your knowledge. If you are not here for those reasons then you are here for the wrong ones.
I have watched XDA become a place where every dumbass in the world has a smartphone and comes here thinking they have the right to anything. Well guess what? You dont have the right to ****. We share it because we want to and we dont if we dont feel like it. Are the Developers or the Mods required to make you happy? Nope not in the least. Wanna leave. Go ahead. I beg you, please do. The less people that are asking dumb question cause they dont know what they are doing (this is understood when your new, but at least look) or are too lazy to look for it the better.

If no one responds your request, that does not mean they lack the knowledge in doing it. Demanding things will get you nowhere. If no developer wants to do what you request, then move on. Xda is not about doing what people want developers to do.

Even though I was talking in general about your suggestion that everyone should need to be told how to behave properly (they already are, by the way, in the forum rules, read them), is that a proper way to behave when you're asking for help from people that work for free? Or even the proper way to behave in public? I think not.
As for everyone being a noob to begin with; that does not entitle anyone to behave inappropriately and ***** and moan if they don't get what they demand.
