Q&A​
Q. Can I use this ROM on S-ON devices?
A. Yes, you can use it, but you might face some issues like long reboot, missing boot animation, higher battery consumption , Wi-Fi issues and etc.
Q. My Wi-Fi doesn't work
A. You must update firmware to latest 4.xx.xxx.x
Q. Will new firmware wipe my device? Should I be S-OFF
A. It won't wipe your device, but your device must be S-OFF.
Q. My camera doesn't want to take pictures due to insufficient permissions and I don't see my files, what should I do?
A. Probably you wiped your internal storage with twrp recovery in the past. Install Terminal Emulator program out of Google play. Execute this command

The problem is symlink("wcd9320_mbhc.bin", "/data/misc/audio/mbhc.bin"); you took from my ROM/updater-script but you forgot ";" at the end
so just change

possibly. where is it? i installed another rom which had an incompatible kernel so the phone wont boot. of course i forgot to do a nandroid first. i get stuck at htc one white screen. of coourse i can enter recovery and fastboot.

Not that I saw. It just said "You are now running Maximus" in Aroma after 1 sec, then kicked back out to TWRP where it had a "successful" message.

Reboot into recovery
Wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik-Cache

Installing ROM as Primary ROM​
Just follow the Installation Instructions above and make sure "Inject MultiROM" is checked before flashing
Please note that the kernel inside this ROM does NOT have the kexec-hardboot patch​
Installing ROM as Secondary ROM​
Before doing this, make sure your primary ROM's kernel has kexec-hardboot patch, the MultiROM zip installed and you have MultiROM TWRP 2.7.0 installed
Download the ROM and place it on your SD Card
Reboot to recovery
Go to Advanced > MultiROM > Add ROMs > (Make sure Android is selected) Next > ZIP File > Select the v5 zip and let it install
When you reboot you should see your Internal ROM and CyanogenMod 11S v5

I can't get mobile signal to make phonecalls. Just says mobile signal not available. I get Lte data though

Maybe I just missed it but I've been looking and trying different themes but I'm unable to use the lockscreen to pick a 'target' to launch after unlock.

Seriously....no one is having issues making or receiving phone calls, or text messages.??Basically anything at all that would require cell service??
I have ran logs and they all return that radio is turned off....when clearly that's not the case cause it shows I have a signal and I'm getting data. Odd, I would venture to guess that's there's a broken hex value or two somewhere in one of the framework files. Not sure as I haven't bothered to dig any deeper then that. But honestly how can I be the only person experiencing this?

I also had a fc on the gallery when pressing edit. But I didn't run the rom long enough to get a log on that as I had to be able to make and receive calls and text.

Butterfly 2 is experimental for support... since I had to compile kernel without owning the device... but being that it's a msm8974 I'm 99% sure it will boot.... please give first initial boot time to take up to 20mins.!

Wow I didn't know that 3.0.0.0 was available. Yeah I have a B2 UL(UHL), the other is the Japanese model B2 WLJ.

I have HTC B2_UL devices, but which rom for it?, i downloaded this rom "HTC_E8_EYE_M8_B2.....zip", but in aroma installer options are: HTC E8, E8 sprint, Eye, M8, M8 sprint", but when i try all of them, my device didn't boot, only boot to fastboot mode?

Kernel for butterfly 2 compiled with no errors. So I know kernel is fine.... so I'm sure if you select m8 as install then flash my butterfly2bootfix I'm sure the rom should boot with no issues within 10-20mins.

Download the bootloader and Modem and before installing our rom u have to flash these files with ODIN.
-DOWNLOAD
1. Download my latest rom from the download section and place it on your SD-card.
2. Reboot into recovery and select WIPE.
3. Click on "advanced wipe" and select everything (Except for internal Storage/Sd-Card) select(WIPE} go to Main Menu.
4. click on "install" and select our ROM and swipe to the right to install it.
5. wait till its finished.(Reboot From TWRP)
6. First boot during about 5 minutes(dont interupt the process

No, same as on Nyssa. Which is normal cause its based off my rom.

I dont mind you using or taking things. Everything is free to use and open source.
But don't falsely accuse somebody. My Nexus rom was made a month before yours.

Flashed great for me @andybones! No fails or force closes. Only thing I have noticed so far is not able to set downloads in Dolphin to my sdcard. Was running Viper before and this was not an issue, though I seem to remember it being a problem with the original stock rom. This is what it shows...

What would be the best way to edit the shortcuts in the notification bar? To get rid of nfc, and add some others? Is gravity box the best?

hey @andybones, got it all running good. I cant believe they seriously removed the QS feature in system tuner. Can we possible add tiles and rearrange via default.xml, i couldnt make it work on the stock OOB rom, was wondering if it could be edited in prior to flashing?

I know, VZW must have really went out of their way, there are a lot of sku Id checks, wish I was better at smali and could take a hack at it
You can decompile and edit the tiles in system ui.apk, you'll find them in values/strings.xml
Don't think we can add any but can remove, rearrange

Yes, Gravity Box works. I have it running on my stock Verizon unit. Sense is now such a "light" layer that Gravity Box works like it does on AOSP and Sense Toolbox does not (and is not ready for Sense 8 anyway).
