phone died yesterday and every charger that i use will not charge it up. the green light comes on for about 10 seconds and then goes off. sat on charger all night and it still will not turn on. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you used the original charger? And let it sit for a couple hours?

Don't have the original charger. Using a art micro USB cable with a Samsung wall brick 5v at 1a.

Well this phone doesn't like anything but a factory charger if it dies.

Don't have access to one at the moment. Guess I will have to order one.

It seems that it does...

My Atrix HD doesn't seem to care what charger I use. It died on me this morning after 34hours (MAXX battery) and I am charging it up using a Blackberry 700ma charger (slow but works). I have drained it to death and charged it up via USB from laptop too. Not saying that its not possible for it to be "locked" to a factory charger, just saying that it seems not all of them are.

Is this the charger I need http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Origina...remium-Home-Wall-Travel-Charger-/150956867162

It could work, but remember the stock charger is a USB cable with an outlet block

charger?

Quick question. Before I purchase a charger for the kindle fire had I was wondering if it was ok to use one from a different device such as a cell phone. I have 5-6 different wall chargers that would work and I would hate to waste money if those would be ok and not harm my new device. Thanks

Any charger will work fine, provided it has a micro usb connector of course.

Thank you very much.

Some chargers are more powerful than others, just keep that in mind.

Atrix HD Battery Calibration Problems

I did the EB40 Mod on my Motorola Atrix HD and I noticed today that my battery was at 46% and all of a sudden it said 4% and that I needed to charge it. Does any mod or anyone know how to fix this problem I am extremely new to android and I would really appreciate any help I did manage to root my phone if that helps. Thank You
Need to get the battery to 0 and charge the phone to 100 with it off on the charger that came with the phone.

Do I plug it in as im turning it off or simply how?
Just once it dies try to to turn it on to make sure its dead and if it won't turn on plug it in and leave the phone off till it says 100.

EB40 mod & other box commuter

Anybody have both? I have this case and just ordered my eb40. Its already a tight fit so has anyone used both fine?
Sent from my MB886 using xda premium
Yes. I had to cut a square out in the rubber though the size of the battery.
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
I have it, I didn't cut out a square like deeje though. Its just a TIGHT fit. Don't plan on taking this case off a lot.

Now that I have the battery is there a proper way to calibrate it?

Once you install it charge it to 100 while the phone is off. Then run it dead and do it again.

My phone automatically turns on when plugged in. How can I make it not do this? Even it I turn it off plugged in it just reboots. Also when it turns on it flashes the Motorola logo then goes to some gray fuzzy screen. What is that all about?

check my battery

I just installed eb40 yesterday and I'm not happy with its performance... I have attached my battery stats here. Is there a way to check capacity of the battery to make sure it is not defective?

Perhaps you should wait a few days so you can compile the stats and then decide if your battery is defective.
It definitely shouldn't dip like that. Did you calibrate it correctly.

Yup, I did calibrate... But it is quite a heavy use... My stock battery only lasts for 3 hrs on that use...

3 hours how?
not even looping hd video over wifi with max brightness would let my eb20 quit in 3 hours

Let it fully discharge. Run Movies/Netflix till it just dies then let it charge to max (use the wall charger for this).
Battery Friendly Rom.....they don't make those for us.

^haha very true. The best rom battery wise that I've tried is Younggun's HoloBlur (feel free to correct me)

I'm using the holoblur ROM ATM and I'm getting good results with my battery life. I'd recommend it also.

The phone is dead now anything I can do?
Is your phone bootloader unlocked?
Have you tried charging it with phone off?
The only thing I can think of trying is going to fastboot and and go back to stock but i think you need at least 40% of battery
Sent from my MB886 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Are you using the original charger that came with the phone? If not, try using that one or a more powerful unit.
OK so the fun is dead there is only a green light on I can't boot into anything and I'm using the charger that comes with the Nexus 7

Only thing I can suggest is using the original charger that came with the phone. I recall reading posts from other users that could get their phone to charge by using the usb cable and charger that came with their phone.
If its dead and will not respond to a cable (original Motorola cable plugged into wall) , you may have to invest in a Factory Cable and let it charge in the bootloader so you can RSD a stock ROM.
