I'm using this rom and am running original kernel and have no rebooting after taking pictures with or without flash.

Good thing you fixed all the bugs but the rom is very laggy maybe due to the kernel

After using for a few days this ROM is what I was looking for. One bug I've found so far is when switching on breathing SMS in status bar in message settings messaging force closes every time a new message is received.

I don't think the SuperICS kernel v1.0.2 here would work because the dev says it is only for Samsung based Roms and not for AOSP Roms.
CM9 installs a kernel when applied. You think I should install it first?

Yes, there are some bug and missing option. Just be patient while dev look on it to fix.
Recommended to download Addons Extras_2.7_update to feel JB drawer animation while open close apps

No, call problem does not exists in my port (i think it is not there in Alchemist's too)..

What type of bug is it..? FC..?
i think its not RIL related at all since the dialer is not force closing and also there's signal bars, if we view screens...it must be only simple resizing issues causing FC..

i sure u not edit files in etc/paranoid before..u dont need to resized any .png in PAC rom..just edit n put good value in etc/paranoid files..so things will look small ..

Nice! I believe the ones that are required for the camera to work are in one of the androidarmv6 repos in github for the msm7x27 common, they are precompiled so they are pretty much universal for any ROM. If you want I can send you the PAC I compiled from source (I believe is version 19.x.x) if it can be useful for you

+1. Editing paranoid preferences is better than resizing whole rom.. i have tried that on my port from gio.. but, that looks bad in some parts such as battery icon etc..
Can any one confirm.. is this port from ace or a source build..?

I think is better port from Gio because the camera lib from Gio will work for us but from ace will not(I mean the one in lib/hw/camera.msm7x27.so) it worked on cm9 earlier

I remember using this ROM on my Nexus S (Sold now). It was pretty good. I loved the inverted apps. Since Carbon is faaaaarrrrrr from getting an update I might as well try this rom.
Edit: Annnnd what do you know? Carbon had an update! Still going to try this rom.
Edit2: wow this keyboard makes typewrihter noises lol. Anyways I have noticed the same bug in carbon. If you pressed the multitasking button it shows a random app being minimized and then it is blank. BTW fade effect still doesn't work.

Also CM7 bugs.
If status bar icons disappear, turn torch on and off again for them to reappear.

Installation guide:
1. Get to CWM recovery.
2. Flash cm7 kernel.
3. Wipe data and cache.
4. Format system, data and cache.
5. Mount everything.
6. Flash the rom.

The ROM is very but very smooth but unfortunately there are some UI bugs caused by the small resolution pngs. I think you can get it fixed with some little help.

a. Opening a normal window [chooserbox]
b. Recent Apps [Looks weird]
c. Videos app.
d. ON/OFF button switches.
e. Some other bugs...
The ROM looks very interesting anyway!

@Envy-X, congrats for the rom, it is very good. Just one thing, add Gallery libs to the ROM. And that also fixes Videos app. For doing that, open the apk with winrar, go to /lib/armeabi and take the lib to rom's /system/lib.

Ill try to fix some bugs, but I'm not experienced so it will take time. The rom for me is still usable so I'm staying on it.
But ill fix other stuff later.

That's no problem of bieltv.3, because this bugs are easy things to fix and aren't from cm7.

That can be changed in settings. Settings, Interface, Notification Power Widget and Indicator color. Or something like that.
