When you do the wipe, does it then take you back to the default Google setup screen on the phone?

after the wipe i start the phone and then i come direktly to the setup wizard. enter the simcode, and contine with the wizard. Language new or old account etc. and then the funny enter a konto loop

"SIM Code"? You have a lock code on your SIM card? If so then search - I'm sure I have read about CM having major issues with SIM code locks.

a problem with the normal pin of my sim card? the 4 char pin?

Yes. Try sticking the SIM card in a different phone, disable the SIM lock code and try the install again.

but i dont have a lock. its a prepaidcard. no contract or something like that.
but i wil ltest f i can unlock something on this card
or is it possible to skip the startup wizard?
tried it one more time. i isert my konto, gone though the steps and befor i come to the normal phonescreen i come to the step, where i have to add a konto.
and i didnt found something to unlock on my card
OK i got the problem!
on the toilet you have the best ideas. i startet the phone without the simcard. it skiped the wizard automatikli.
But thanks for the idea with the simcard!

I had recently bought a lg g4 off ebay with FRP lock I was able to bypass the screen using the pop up when you try to sigh in at locations such as McDonalds. I was also able to root the device. the problem I still have is when I try to use any google service it will prompt me to give email. I tried hard reset and when I go to settings there is no way to reset it. And I was also able to unlock the camera

LG-H811 is my model number
You can unlock your bootloader in dev options and root is the tmo forums, if you get that working you can flash a custom stock rom in twrp and your device won't have any lock I believe, if that doesn't work I'm not quite sure on how to help you further
the only option is use one of the services on ebay. there is many over there offering this service.
can you help me please
here is a solution.

i found same lg and was unable to get into the settings by doing the accessories-talk back etc.......what i did do was enable quickview so that i can dual screen two apps, i went on google and typed settings to this phone, or download the samsung bypass either is fine and takes you to settings......so what you do is once you get into settings go to display and in the top right corner click tab view. then go to home screen and change it to the reg screen. once you do that, go to one drive in your google folder thats standard install. once there it should either give you the option to add and should register your email acct as original user.....i may also add it was rooted as well.
at setup click accessories->enable switch acess->turn on->if you get the screen that gives you the option to use one or two switches click two so you cab select and confirm which button volume + or vol- does when pushed.......-> now now go to the settings of switch access-> assign switches-> and scroll down to overview-> highlight-> either vol+ or vol--> once done go back to setup--->push until you get dual screen option-----and follow my earlier long ass speach.......side note been at it two weeks lmao

Delete (or rename) the following files inside /data/system (note that probably not all of them exist for you, simply delete those you can find):
password.key
pattern.key
basically any .key file in that folder
Using TWRP file manager (its under advanced)
Thanks man. Problem is, I could only see my device on PC if phone was started via twrp. If not, device shows on PC when plugged in but won't show any files.
I have booted phone into recovery, seems that it will let me do that. Is that any help?. Mrs has just come back from work.... Gulp!
Ohhhhh maaaaan. You are the don!!!!!. I'm in now, you sir are a star!. How can I now get the phone back to having password?. Have I buggered it as I deleted the files??

Hmm. Not going so well now. I'm doing the following:
Security> screen lock. 'Confirm pin'. I enter a pin, then either a) press 'OK'... Screen goes back to 'security & fingerprint' screen. Shows 'screenlock none'. Or, if I try to previous then press forward arrow on keypad (rather than pressing OK), it goes to blank screen with left facing arrow at top of screen saying 'choose screen lock'?.
I've also noticed that in security & screenlock screen, it shows 'finger 1' under fingerprint list. Like it still has a fingerprint saved.

Yeah the fingerprint will be saved, i cant remember exactly how i did it (i'm not doing it on my phone as my bank already hate me for being rooted and registering android pay like 20 times a month) - if i remember i enter a pin, then choose either pin again or none, and after none go back to pin. I think that worked, but don't hold me to it - it's easy to recover i just dont have a device in that state to try. I could teamviewer your phone if you want me to and sort it haha. Just have a mess around to see what happens, one combination of that should work. Basically android still thinks you have a pin, but it's physically not there.

Tried every combination of fiddling that I can. Wondered, if I dirty flash copy of OOS 4.02 over current ROM, would it sort it?. Would I lose root & unlocked bootloader etc if I do this?

Phone blocked

Hi Guys,
I think I have no lucky these days...
I was testing a new ROM and when a returned the backup with TWRP android asked me a patteren for unlock.
The patter I usauly use dont work.
I found a help that say to erase some files in /data/system but it doenst work...
I had a idea to block the cell with my google account and set a new PIN for unnlock... It doenst work
Now I have the cell blocked by google and its impossible to access the internal memory with TWRP...
I need help... I dont know what to do...
Please !!!!
Sounds like your only way back is to format/delete all your data and start from scratch. You can use fastboot to do this.
I think this is the way... but I never did this before...
Do you know a step by step to do this !?
If I understand rightly you have a Google locked phone. I have not tried this on the OP3T but if you are able to reach the boot up screen where Google asks you for the password/pattern lock, you can try inserting an OTG drive of any capacity into your device. The phone will ask for changing storage. After clicking 'OK' you will be taken to the storage section. Go to 'Apps' and from there to 'Setting'. If you are able to reach this far, do a complete reset from that 'Settings' section and you would be able to recover your phone. I repeat, I have not tried this on the OP3T but have successfully tried this on some other phones. Best of luck and hope you get back your toy.
Let me also add that you won't be able to recover a Google blocked phone by factory resetting from recovery. The only way to do this is to reset it from the settings section of the OS itself after you have booted up.

Lost pin code... How to unlock phone?

Help.. I have a Huawei P10 (VTR-L09) with Android 8.0 and stock rom and recovery. I've lost the pin code and now it requires the pin after a phone reboot... So I can't access my phone anymore.
Every solution I find on the internet is either only for Samsung or not supported for this phone. Does anyone know how to unlock it now?
Please note that USB Debugging is not enabled in settings as I got the phone back from repair only a few weeks ago so only got fastboot commands. But I really do not want to factory restore it...
Thanks for any assistance!
You could contact your Phone company and tell them you've lost your Pin and PUK. They only need the Numbers from your Sim-card.
Thx for your message GAMaus, but I've lost the phone pin and not the SIM pin. Do you think they can really help me with that?

my friend was with the same situation, he goes to service center and they fix it but he lose all data.
or try with some gsm repair service maybe they can unlock without losing any data, but if your device is encrypted in my opinion is not possible without factory reset
It's not possible to unlock your phone without the correct PIN. Only chance to get into your phone is to wipe data in eRecovery. But this will remove all your user data except the data on SD.
You're also not able to get your data through TWRP because the /data partition is encrypted. To decrypt, you need your PIN.
But there's one question I have: The P10 has a great fingerprint reader and you're telling me, that you didn't assign your fingerprint for unlocking your phone?

Yeah the fingerprint doesn't work after startup because Huawei wants you to remember your pin... But fortunately I could try endless possibilities with the pincode (only sometimes I needed to wait a few hours). But in the end I got the pincode correct, so I can use my phone again
Thanks everyone!

If the phone is under warranty return it.
Or do a full factory reset to try, anyway you will have to do it before returning under warranty.
Try/settings about phone/features/kernel version tap it several times/CIT menu 2 sim card.
With only one sim
I don't want to full factory reset.. I searched other alternative ways

do a full factory reset and try otherwise guaranteed
backup with Micloud before
I had the same issue if you search the forum. I tried every option, full resets, reboot, etc..nothing worked.
You need to go to recovery and wipe data and this will re -do the inital install and fix the issue. No other ways, you will loose your data.
For backup just use Xiaomi Backup feature ( within Settings) and backup and save to a PC. The afterwards you just move the same back up folder back into your phone and it will re install everything a before.
Good Luck

Thank you for your help. Yesterday I do full factory reset then it's work fine
