Software or hardware camera problem.. - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys Im here because as much as I love the HTC one, it's camera just doesn't fill my eyes...
In normal conditions it really takes good pictures, but at night (without flash) it turns really really bad (and it's slogan is that it takes the greatest pictures in low light conditions)...
2 friends, my brother and I have a HTC one, all of us rooted our phones and installed the v2.0 viperone Rom
All of we get a strange blue tint at low light conditions (as if there were something wrong with the ISO) or I don't know but look at the pic attached
Has this happened to someone else?
Is there any fix for this?
Is it a hardware or software problem?
Thanks in advance

Got two htc ones, mine is even worse than your pictures but wife's is perfectly fine even though they have same iso and exposure settings. So, I don't think it's a software issue.

Are you using flash?

I'm using night mode so no flash was turned on

FIXED Camera taking stills and videos inverted?

I have posted in my Rom thread and in my camera mod thread....
I do not know the cause of this but everything was working fine til I wanted to take photos this weekend on my vacation I didn't add anything different but flash from Dark Raiders 1.5.3 to 1.5.4
Please if anybody could help it would be very much appreciated!
Nothing on my camera as far as in app settings are selected differently. No water damage ... But I do use Tesla Flashlight quite often... I drop my phone hardly ever and its covered by a commuter....
I'm hoping I didn't melt something using Tesla Flashlight

Horizontal blue pixels in camera?

Not just camera app but when viewing certain black colours in image gallery and on internet! Probably about 10 lines equally seperated over the whole screen especially when trying to display mostly black but also with white on the screen. It's really hard to describe. It's actually most noticeable on the camera button in certain exposures on camera.
Any feedback would be welcome as I have only a day to take back!

On which Rom are you? I saw this too and upgraded my Rom to latest ARHD and it's gone I think, or at least I can not go d the right angle anymore.
If I see it again I will report back.

Camera blur + focus problem?

I tried to take a picture of landscape and won't focus. Most of the time it focuses on areas on the left side and leaving like half of the picture blurry in random spots on the right.
I've seen some issues on XDA forum but I don't really understand...I also didn't install any modifications. The whole package is straight outta Ee-tmobile UK and still is!
I wonder what could be the problem? There is an example

Hey there, As I said in the other topic, your phone seems to be defect, I suggest switching it with a new one.

HTC ONE Notification Light (AOKP M1)

Finally flashed everything, love the customization. One problem I can't get the led light to work, pulse notification is enabled but it never comes on?? Did I maybe mistakenly change the color values? Know I've heard the ONE only had green if this is the problem someone please give me the right values or if there's a different fix for it, would be great

I really like it, great phone. However the only reason I am considering selling it is the fact that I simply CANNOT get my WiFi hotspot to work, so it may be time to move on.
Personally I don't like the SGS4 due to Touchwiz, otherwise that's a solid little phone too. Can't really comment on the other two.
idk what to do i have offer to trade my htc one for iphone 5 neverlock it is worth it
Galaxy S4 is Samsung so it's automatically meh. The G2 would be cool if it didn't have the rear buttons and the Nexus 5 will be a great device. I still however think that the HTC One is the best phone on the market currently. So well balanced and aside from the camera issue in low light, It's perfect.

I'm on ARHD, newest version and newest firmware and my wifi tether works fine. I use it for xbox live lol. Have you tried the built in wifi hotspot utility or are you using some 3rd party app?

- sense gives the most true added value to android
- touchwiz is ugly, and i can live with the yellows whites of the Samsung devices
- after try a GE rom, in the ONE, yes is a little more smooth, but the battery is a little worse, but the only thing that is really important is that the pure android experience is boring, far to be bad, but boring... so I dont see me with a nexus phone, but I really want to have the new N7

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it was temperamental and inconsistent even when I was on ARHD. Perhaps it is a hardware issue, which is no good for me at all. Using the stock HTC Hotspot.

by compared i mean i took photos with those phones with the same settings and of the same thing from the same angle and the htc one was by far the best low light camera without flash
