Hey guys, I just gotten white HTC Butterfly S last week, and now, after root, unlockBL. My device not detect magnetic field. Compass not working.
Do factory reset, but still not working.
anyone ever experience that?

Installed SmartCompass from PlayMarket - works like a charm (rooted phone with MaximusHD rom)

Hi Guys,
I'm having a bit of a Problem here.
Today I Installed Cyanogen Mod to my Phone. Everything worked just fine but I didn't liked it much so I reflashed to Stock Rom.
So far so good now the Problem.
I Accedently flashed a Greece ROM (I'm from Germany) The Rom worked fine but I don't understood a word.
So I got back to Download Site and found an Austrian Version. I downloaded it and tried to Flash it to my device but at one Point The Installation got stuck.
I waitet an Hour but It weren't going any further.
I didn't saw another option to get out of this and pulled the USB Cable out.
Now the Phone is only running in Download mode.
The Recovery mode isn't available. Only a screen with a Phone a PC and an ! in the middle appears.
I already tried to install the Stock rom again (tried another one as well) But it always gets stuck at one Point.
Please help me.

Solved. I Flashed FROYO and then Gingerbread again worked fine!
Hmm back to original Rom.

I read though thousends of posts by now but I couldn't find a solution for my pronlem
My camera isn't working any more
I was using the 4.8 version of Sentinel rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252953). There everything was fine. Than I flashed the update to 5.0 version of this rom and since than my camera is dead. I just get a black screen when I start it.*I tryed a lot to get it back working but nothing has been working so far.*I tryed the reflash sentinel, I flash other cams I flash other roms. On one of the other roms the phone said: "Can't connect to camera" or something like that. So I restored sentinel because nothing worked.
I always cleaned the memory of the phone (wipe cache and so on) befor each try.
Now I have no idea what to do.
Hope someone got a solution for me

I got myself a JVC NSX700 which i want to connect to my One M7. I got Insertcoin 2.2 installed but when i connect it via "MirrorLink" it isn´t recognized
Anyone here got some info for me so i can get that stuff running? I googled a lot but didn´t find anything good or it didn´t work.

I've just successfully rooted my HTC One under Android 4.4.2 and installed OneDroid, but I'm having a serious issue with it.
Essentially, it works just fine. However the UI (com.android.systemui) crashes as soon as I unlock my phone and keeps crashing every 2 seconds until I do a factory reset.
Do you have any idea how to solve this?
Could you also please tell me which model my phone actually is? I bought it in Switzerland, not simlocked.
I need this information, because I want to know which stock firmware to install, if ever needed.

hello everyone i have a sprint htc one m7 running 4.4.2 sense 6...
recently I decided to factory reset the phone and after the reboot i wasnt able to get past the setup wizard because it got struck at the hands-free activation screen because i use my phone in india...
so i rooted the phone and flashed twrp recovery.. and through TWRP file manager i deleted the HTCSetupWizard.apk and HTCOmadmspcs.apk which seems to have fixed the problem....
but now after about 6 hours the phone has started shutting down automatically and after startup i get a notification from an app called "Smith"..
please suggest me a way to fix this problem.... all help appreciated... thanks in advance
