I just put some thought into the case that flips open and holds your credit cards.... When it's open you can't access the power button or volume controls
Fail much?

Its possible to design so you can have 1 card in the flip lid with a window for camera, and buttons (might get slightly in the way for volume down). Then again, you dont need to use the buttons anyways.

Spigen Slim Armor Cases look damn good. If I get this phone I'll be getting one of these. :good:

Is it just me or is that an Antennae cut out at the top left(looking at the back of the case)? I really hope they build different region cases.

There is hole for that too, but if you check top right corner there is a bigger hole for the antenna on F320 phones. If you got for official cases they should be without holes for the international version, but if you go with cheap china cases there is a chance they have a hole to fit all phones.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm hoping the cases for the normal version fit the Verizon variant, just since the buttons are smaller there will just be space around them from the bigger cut outs

I too wonder if these will work with the Verizon version ?

I talked to LG this morning and they were kind of sketchy on the differences between Verizon and the rest, so I'm now thinking there is more of a difference than the buttons

I just ordered Poetic Palette case from Amazon. Best looking slim case IMHO. At least for now. It's less than $7 with free shipping.

It seems strange that they didn't make cutout for, probably, second microphone. It's placed just little higher from camera flash.

I just realized that Incipio cases listed in OP made same omission.

the poetic one doesn't really look like it does anything... just a snap on. I wonder if it's even worth it

well when i ordered it, it was like 3 bux lol..so i was like 3 bux for a little scratch protection till the better cases come out isnt anything, its pretty much like an Incipio Feather Case.

yeah i ordered it. idc. wasn't too expensive. good to just have something on it.

For people who use swipe side screen triggered launcher like Swapps (my favorite), SwipePad, Wave launcher,... better pay attention on fact that LG G2 got super thin side bezels, so any case with raised protective rim will block (interfere) swipe side screen trigger area. This is a main reason I bought Poetic Palette case which it doesn't interfere with Swapps (or similar launcher).

Has anyone seen a combo case and holster for the G2 yet? Thanks.

Good THIN case?

So I got the rooCase off Amazon and while its decent it makes the tablet HUGE, like 4x the thickness. Anyone have any thon cases? I just want something to put it in when I throw it in my bag.

Maybe you should check out the KaysCase TPU cases. Not really any thin folios though.

My recommendation would be the slim-fit Moko case. I currently have the slim case but plan on getting good it with the free exchange. Moko has proven to be a great company and offered a free change for all the people who bought a case without the "smart cover" . It comes out on Wednesday.

Any thin cases that can do both portrait and landscape, as well as the magnet smart wake?
---------- Post added at 07:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:27 PM ----------
Found this one from the same company:
http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Rotating...343010232&sr=1-2&keywords=slim-fit+Moko+nexus
Not only does what I am looking for, but it also has an additional viewing angle over the other two moko cases. It doesn't mention it being thin, but it seems to have roughly the same dimensions as the ones that are listed as slim fit.
The main reason I want it slim is so that it can fit in a car holder, namely this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004M8ST36/
Can the moko cases fold back so that the flap isn't hanging out?
I decided to go with the rooCase bubble pouch. I like KT naked too much when I'm using it, I just wanted something to protect during travel

I want to be able to put the case in the car mount without having to remove it.
You guys have to remember about the back speaker needing space to sound ok
TPU
I keep searching and notice a lot more vendors have them available, TPU cases that is. Seems they are all selling the same 2 designs.
But this one has the largest color selection. For those looking for the White Backing

And I am really liking that ridged wave pattern on the X design;
I bought this for a good deal. it looks thin and I love the price. I have not got it in yet, (but i haven't received my nexus either )
http://www.amazon.com/EXOTEK-Slim-Fit-Multi-Angle-Automatic-Function/dp/B008MIQGTQ
Just received an awesome case
I ordered this case in the UK a few days ago, just arrived, with a screen protector and a stylus pen aswell.
MOFRED® Case + Screen Protector + Stylus Pen
Built fantastically if slightly loose but not too much, makes the nexus 7 slightly thicker but is great build quality and the stylus pen is awesome.
Probably just as good as most others but only 6 pounds. Loving it. Hesitant to use the screen protector though.
Those colored TPU cases looks great, it's what I've been looking at on Amazon. The varied colors are sweet but I'd pick the white or the black.
That ebay link will take at least 2-3 weeks to arrive cause it comes from china. I'll probably order one off Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Exact-Design-Google-Android-Tablet/dp/B008LJKTGC?t=slickdeals&tag=slickdeals
And hope that it doesn't take that long. It's $6. Looks like Free Shipping. So I'm pulling the trigger on the black one.

I also bought this case. I have to say that I think it adds too much bulk. The stylus is actually great though. Not used my fingers since.
I've bought a gelaskin for the back and I'm gonna buy a slip to keep the N7 in when not in use.

incipio dual pro?

Anyone have any experience with this line of cases? I've used incipio products in the past and have been pleased with the quality. I'm thinking the protection level offered from the dual pro would be somewhere between a tpu case and the otterbox commuter.
I cant stand cases that have soft silicone covering the bottom where the charging port is

I had one on my iphone 5. Real nice case and even better customer service. The hard plactic part had a nice soft touch finish ala seido case compared to the shiny cheap feeling otterbox commuter plastic. Hope they bring it out for the note 2.

Silver and white shine looks great on pics. I wonder if the silicone atracts lint, I know they have two types of silicone that they use, one that attracts a loooot of lint, dermashot for iphone 5 and the one that doesnt and is tick silicone that they use on ngp line up. going to check with their customer service which one is it as I am Thinking of ordering one as well. Incipio cases are great quality.

The concern I have is that the polycarbonate part is not grippy enough. That seems to be the issue with both the Commuter and Ballistic. I'm still waiting Case Mate's Tough Case for the Note 2. Love the textured back that's very grippy. I do like the look of the Incipio case though!
There's a thread on this case!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2051175
I have the incipio dual pro shine and I also have a seidi case with kickstand not the extreme case but the Smooth I also have a Mercury tpu and a cruzerlite of all these I like the seido for the kickstand but I will say ive seen one particular negative review on Amazon for the pink one and she rants about how difficult it is to get on lol she was doing it right it clearly states in the instructions insert the right corners first it is a lil bit weird the very first time to put on but now I take the cover off and on in no time at all I have the white note 2 and I went with the silver case with black rubber and I like this case the most its not the thinnest case but it does fit in and out of the pocket and its def not as large as the otterbox defender or the other one I forgot the name ...So yes its a great case that offers just as much protection as my cruzerlite which gets great reviews and is about as thick maybe a little thicker than the cruzerlite but not by much if your going to spend so much money on a phone wouldn't you want it protected that's why you get a few for looks one for heavier usage when your active and that's what this is im an active guy and I feel secure knowing if I drop this case my phone will def be protected sure the case will have scratches because of the metal finish but this is the best looking slightly a lil more heavy duty case ...I love it at first after one bad review I was real sceptical but now I'm very happy I purchased it .. Its my daily case unless im hanging home watching movies than I use seido for kick stand I will probably get the seido xtreme or the new cruzerlite with kickstand on Amazon for about $15 it looks great and affordable

Sorry for bad grammer its late but I was talking about the incipio dual pro shine I have it in silver and like it very much I feel the most secure and sleek at the same time ... The only down fall is your first time putting on the case but I promise its easier than putting on a speigen or inbishield screen protector which requires alot more patience the first time ...Okay so the only negative I have is the rubber part picks up pocket lint from being in my pocket but its easy to wipe off just don't wear super linty ass jeans lol

Nillkin Frosted Shield Hardcase

i need something to protect my phone until my Slim Armor arrive so i bought the Nillkin Frosted Shield for ~$12 from a friend..
i've been using Nillkin products for my devices since the last 2 years and IMO it doesn't disappoint..
fits really well on my Int. D802.. it shares a similarity with Poetic Palette Slim Hard Case, but the main difference here is that the Frosted Shield had a rough textured back.
it really helps keeping the phone from sliding off and providing better grip..
also worth mentioning is a slightly raised lip along the side of the case that grips on the edge of the screen.. so it's safe to place the phone face down on a flat surface
all the ports are accessible and it doesn't interferes with the LED flash..
and don't forget, just like other Nillkin cases, it comes with a free clear screen protector (it's a bit too wide so it must be installed dead center)
i got the red version of the case.. it looks really good on my black G2 (pics are below)

the main benefits of this case are it's textured back and the price (you got a case and a screen protector for <$10)
you can find a bunch of this on amazon/ebay/etc as low as $7
but keep in mind that this thing won't make your G2 defy gravity..

Scary that bottom and top is exposed. Reminds me of the pictures of the dude who dropped it and cracked right at the bottom corner with feather case.
Just got my red one today. Looks pretty cool, but it's far from protective. I bought this one just for looks and scratch protection though. It's a bit slicker than I prefer though.

What I meant by that, is that it's not going to offer much protection in a drop. It's very slim and sleek and is a nice looking case. The grip on it improves over time. But the exposed corners offer no protection. I still use it quite often though.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I've bought Nillkin products and recommended them for some time, they offer the best bang for buck around when it comes to cases. I've bought this specific model, the rubbery hard plastic case, for the Oppo Find5, HTC One (M7), Galaxy S4, Xperia S and the G2. I always went with the black one and it was good. With the G2 I went with the white one to match my phone's color. Big mistake as a few weeks later it started to pick up color and eventually it turned pink. Nothing to complain on the fitting and build of the case. It is sturdy but it's not the best protection you can get.
I hope my insight can help you opt for other color besides the white case

Well as luck would have it....I dropped my phone today with the Nillkin case on. I flung my back pack overt my shoulder and forgot I had the phone in the side pocket. It flew out and slammed flat against the concrete edge.
I thought for sure it shattered my screen. It hit the ground and made a loud smack! I picked it up and cringed.
Just a few scuffs! Obviously they're where it smacked the concrete edge. The phone functions perfectly and had no marks at all. I got very lucky. Phew.

How it looks
I am a big fan of red and black so i want to get the red one but one question how red it is? Is it bright red or it is like pinkish looking? In the first photos with the black G2 it looks really red but in other photos is like pink...maybe depends on camera.
Can you help me with this? Thnks!

Highly doubtful.
I just received my Eagle cell hybrid case all black and it is awesome! I got it for 5 bucks and it feels really good in the hand. It does add some bulk but honestly I don't mind and the phone feels really secure now. Highly recommend it especially at that price.

Sorry is German Link
Question.... Can these cases fit all versions of the LG Flex? ...will a t-mobile or sprint case fit the G flex from At&t? I haven't seen too much differences as far as the design and shape of the phone on 3 US carriers.

here are some cases I received this week and my comments on them:
for some reason these links didn't carry over, but they are all on Amazon, so if you want to see them, just copy and paste the info into an Amazon search Box..
MPERO IMPACT X Series Kickstand Case for LG G Flex LS995 D950 D959 - Glow in the Dark Green
MPERO FLEX S Series Protective Case for LG G Flex LS995 D950 D959 - Magenta
CASE FORMERS Duo Armor BLACK for LG G Flex Combo Case with Stand
Incipio Dualpro Shine Case for LG G Flex - Retail Packaging - Silver/Black
Incipio is nice, but the inner rubber sleeve is a little loose, so there is some sag on the side when the out layer gets squeezed on; this happens to all the multi layer cases, since the curve in the center of the phone sort of gets "pinched" when the out layer gets pressed on.
The Mpero glow in the dark is great; sort of like an Otter box defender type protection, without all the port covers, and has the cool factor of glowing in the dark. the stand is great, and this will probably be the case I keep on when I go out and about, since I have been known to drop my phone, and this guys has super thick edges on it, so it will definitely survive a drop. Also, has a great kickstand, that actually holds the curved phone stable, both in vertical and horizontal states.
The Mpero Flex S will probably be my everyday case; very thin, sleek, a slight lip to protect the screen when face down, and adds no real bulk to the phone. Nice grip edges along the sides to help you hold it securely.
Probably my least favorite is the Case-formers; very bulky, inner rubber case gets really pinched in the center of the phone curve, but the worst thing is the small, flimsy stand, that doesn't securely support the phone in vertical or horizontal mode. Don't bother with this one..
Wished the mpero had a black case looks good but i dont like the clear cases.

Flex Thin Cases

What are the thinnest Flex cases? Post pictures if you can. The only issue I have with the Flex if you call it a issue is that I don't want to hide the curves. lol I want the thinnest case. Might just have to go with a full body protector.
thanks
get this one bro; super thin, great grip ridges on the side, and it fits like a glove..

You have it? I might get the clear or red one. I guess a mall has cell phone shop that will like shrink wrap a protector on any phone/tab. lol I might take a look at that today.
yeah, I have the red one..its super thin, just like you are looking for..
problem with those shrink wrapped type skins is that if you drop the phone on its edge, on concrete, they wont keep you from chipping the phone...

Post some pictures of the case on your phone if you can. I just wanted something that will make the phone not as slippery with limited bulk possible. I'm not going to say what I want to say for the fear of jinking myself. lol

I will later today, after I exchange this defective phone...but trust me, this is the slimmest, thinnest tpu type case you could imagine for this phone..
I ended up ordering that case and another one yesterday. I guess I didn't need to start another thread.
Sorry mods.
sorry I forgot to post pics; got busy restoring the phone all day yesterday..
Trust me, if you wanted a thin, unobtrusive cast, you bought the right one..what other case did you get?

This one. Only a few bucks so what the heck. A local mall has a invisible shield store and I wanted to have them install one but they said it might be a week til they get it. Might buy one online and have them put it on. I'm kind of picky and thinking they might not stay on with a curved phone as well though. I've had clear plastic cases that don't add much bulk but that's not happening with a curved phone. lol
Fosmon HYBO-SK Series Hybrid PC + TPU Kickstand Case for LG G Flex (Black)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...N=B00HCNFVSO&linkCode=as2&tag=androheadl04-20
I had one of those on my one maxx; its OK, for a cheapo, but not as flexible as the other one you ordered..
for the price, its worth having around.
BTW, I had installed one of those skins on my flex; it was ok for a few days, then it started to come up around the round corners, so I don't know if one is good for a rounded phone like this. I am good at installing these things, but I couldn't get it perfect...
I'm still thinking about getting LG flip case. I know it's pricey but the discount helps and it provides good protection. Don't think you need a screen protctor with that case.

MPERO FLEX S Series Protective Case for LG G Flex
It's ok and doesn't add that much bulk. I don't think it fits like it should on my Flex because I have a Otter Box 360 on. I think I just want a pouch to put my Flex in when I go golfing.

Feather Shine
So I just put the Feather Shine on - it's a nice case, and looks pretty good. There's a strange thing, however: the corners on the front are shaped/recessed in such a way that when the phone is lying face down, the phone's top and bottom edges and corners are in contact with the table. I would prefer if the feather shine was what was touching the table.
I'm very curious about the Vest thing that LG has on their site. I can only find it (so far) from Korean vendors on eBay, with 3-4 week delivery times, so I haven't pulled the trigger. It seems to be minimalist protection, focusing protection exactly on the area I am concerned about: the front corners and top and bottom edges of the phone. Does anyone know someplace in the US that's selling these?
Thanks!
I have the quick window case. It's a nice design with nice patterns and such. The only thing I didn't like was that it really doesn't stand up to scratches much. It makes a nasty scuff Mark on the front of the door where it hits the back of the phone. I bought a vest from overseas last week for $20 on eBay. We'll see how that goes.

Not sure I understand the scuff mark. So the vest case overseas is the same as LG's but you save 40 bucks? Send me the link. Thanks
