I have to say, in case anyone's interested, this ROM has given me the best battery life I've been able to get from any smartphone I've owned. Performance is also very good, the phone almost doesn't get hot. I get a few hiccups here and there while playing games and only one random reboot so far. I don't think updating to kit kat is worth it until ART works.
Just my two cents.

Agreed, everything works as it should, there are some silly bugs like signal showing DC instead of 3G when NOT charging and custom light colour doesn't seem to work for charging lights, but so what this ROM is rock stable

I’ve tried all the 4.4 builds and CM10.2 – and the issues are battery drain, overheating when charging (despite charging really slowly) – though I must admit performance/stability are great.
This build however is release candidate quality – sure I’ll try the other roms, but I think this will be my default custom rom.
Understandibly a lot of SP development has focused on 4.4, but it's telling (IMO) that the most updated custom rom for the SP, MiUi, is based on 4.2.2/CM10.1.

Any mirror links for fxp 305 cm10.1? I found it in fxpblog but uploaded and depositfile is too slow in my network. Thanks

Damn I think this is actually the most underrated custom ROM for the SP! I know lots of people want to upgrade to kitkat, which is also more beautiful and good looking for its white icons and transparencies, but this CM10.1 is blazing fast, it doesn't charge slowly like CM11 & co. and the battery lasts maybe even longer than stock rom!! Think I'm gonna stick with this for a while, waiting for sony to eventually fix its buggy 4.3... Thanks guys, hope you can do such a nice work with CM11 in the future! :good::good::good:

I got this phone yesterday and went from CM 11 to 10.2 and finally to this one and it's pretty much perfect. Fast and bug free, all one really needs
The only thing that kind of bugs me is when the navigation bar is disabled in landscape, from example when you rotate the camera app ther eis just a black bar there and I have to straighten the phone back to in order to press home.
Is this a know issue with the phone or is there something I'm doing wrong?
EDIT: Scratch that, it was on my end. Maybe some theme messed it up or something, all it took was a reboot Thanks for this amazing rom, keep it up!

Now I have a real question for a change.
Do we have a proven method to swap External and Internal SD cards on this rom/phone? I've been looking for a working method for hours now and everything I found brakes the Settings app and the media process.

there's an app for that. I just forgot the name. just be careful I remember it screwed up my file system when I uninstalled the app.
is the USB OTG functionality working for you?

I'm on a different rom now and didn't actually test that. Sorry I can't be of more help.
EDIT: And I used Folder Mount for the external/internal memory problem, works like a charm

Hey, guys. I'm still searching for the perfect ROM for SP. I tried various ROMs but all of them seem to have problems like battery drain, low performance, laggy interface, RAM problems and so on...
I was just wondering how good is this ROM? Does it have any problems? And what about gaming?

This is the thread for CM10 on the LG NEXUS 4. It's a major work in progress. It may cause all the things in the disclaimer to happen, or steal your girlfriend while you are busy flashing ROMs.
Install instructions:

1a. If you want Clockwork Touch Recovery please click here
Sorry, CM cannot provide support for other recoveries, although they may work fine.

3. Reboot into recovery and install.
Google Apps are not included in this ROM. You'll need to find those yourself if you want them.
But I will make it easy for you, just click here to get the latest gapps or here
Thanks!

HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR PROBLEMS?
- Was it a hard reboot? Get me the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
- Was it a soft reboot or a "boot loop"? Run "adb logcat" and get me the full output.
- Pastebin links preferred
NIGHTLY BUILDS
Are HIGHLY experimental. Do not post issues to the issue tracker. Chances are the CM team already knows about the issue and are working to fix it. Be patient flash the next nightly. Complaning about battery life or any number of issues will not change a thing as to that these are EXPERIMENTAL builds!!!
M-Series
Something we have learned over the past few months is that if you don’t release, someone else will do it for you. Since we are open-source, we absolutely encourage it! Unfortunately, the quality of unofficial builds can vary, and we are serious about quality. Of course nightlies are always available, but we realized that having something that is a bit more stable on a more frequent basis is important. Starting now, we are rolling out our M-Series releases. M-Series builds will be done at the beginning of every month. We did a soft freeze of the codebase for the last week, blocking new features in order to stabilize. Our plan is to continue this (assuming that the response is good) up until stable release, and onward.
We aren’t exactly sure what M stands for. “Monthly”, “milestone”, or perhaps “MINE ALL MINE!”. Whatever it is, I hope that we are meeting the needs of community.
M-Series builds will be available under the EXPERIMENTAL tag. The filename will include the date stamp as well as the M version. These builds should be stable enough for daily use, and we encourage feedback and bug reports.
RELEASE CANDIDATE
Everything is believed to be working at the time of release.

Apparently they pulled it down because too many 4.1 users were flashing it and messing up their device.

Flashed this first official nightly over the top of the last unofficial build, as I had just recently done a full wipe and couldn't be bothered doing another one. Everything working fine.
Love the newly-ported notification bar settings from CM10 to CM10.1 for circular battery with percentage, etc, which wasn't in latest unofficial build.
Looking forward to daily flashes now!

Flash this gapps. It should get Wallet working: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857
I use it allready as a daily driver. Have installed it yesterday at 3pm and no issue till now...
:good:
Edit:
New Version Online... will install it^^
Installed 29th Build with wiping cache only.
Works flawless but still needs some localizations (I'm from germany and still many of the string in settings are englisch) but it's lower priority...
Didn't see anything new in it so mainly bugfixes I think

It's rock solid, just as fast and smooth as stock, and the only things missing are some CM10 features that have yet to be ported over to CM10.1. It's brilliant, don't hesitate in trying it and using it as a daily driver.

use 4.2 gapps for cm10.1
Just a warning about flashing 4.2. The storage system is completely changed. The data partition is now no longer used and the sdcard partition serves as both data and emulated sdcard. Keep that in mind before you flash this. You will need to move your files around.
Also audio is temporarily broken and camera and HDMI out do not work.

Now that nightlies for 10.1 are being churned, any chance the 'how to install' section in the FXP website could be updated on what needs moving around to get 10.1 installed ?
Nightlies are not being produced yet as there is still some stuff to sort. Once nightlies do start though either the fxp team (or if they don't I) will produce a guide.

I have not flashed 4.2 so I dont yet personally know whats what. But I'd like to understand of course.
In 4.2 /data doesnt exist anymore, the previously reserved storage is freed and available to the user as /sdcard and data is (without actually having seen it, I reckon) stored in a sub-folder in that directory. The external memory is presented as a sub-folder as well in said directory. More or less correct?
If so, hurray! That would tremendously simplify messing around with app data and backups.

Also what Ive read that data moves to a sub folder called 0, this folder is the "main" user aka multi-user mode. Note that 4.2 phones dont support multi-user but its being standardized. So by this logic the second user (for tablet users) data will be stored in a sub folder called 1. Etc...

Yep. The groundwork has been laid so that camera should now work/work very soon.
And to the guy with the S3 - good luck for future android versions. A lot of hard work has gone into porting the Nexus 4 kernel. With the old kernel we essentially had CM10.1 almost fully working within 2 weeks of official code drop.
Essentially we took a step backwards by rebasing all work on te Nexus 4 kernel but took multiple steps forward as from now on anything the Nexus 4 has we can have pretty much at the same time.

That's pretty awesome, and pretty nice that there's such compatibility out of Qualcomm. With what you've learned, do you think that the Xperia T will be supported well for as long as the Nexus 4?
And finally, is the camera the last thing you guys want working before release?

I have to admit, without any word out and no updates on the progress being made, I was wondering where the Sony guys where with the Exynos4 having an up and running base system. But this brings the grin back onto my face. Thanks
I'm sorry if this is a bit too early to ask, is Miracast support going to work its way into the CM build for the Xperia T? It officially is supported in the factory ROM, so wonder if it will be activated accordingly in CM.

good but not yet
Still no camera, laggy unlock screen and lots of random reboots.
Anyone tried 247? i think the bugs mentioned above still persist.
be patient guys, it's an alpha build...
I used fxp247 3 days, restart only once. and The camera is working fine
No bugs
Works PERFECT, no bugs so far for me. :good:
Much smoother and less unremovabloe bloatware than Beanstalk. Though also Beanstalk has some nasty modds that are awesome, but i guess it can all be installed/flashed if googled. And also beanstalk is way slower after TB restore all my apps.
Thank You FXP Team! Camera works perfectly. The ONLY bug i know so far, after installing last night is that camera button wont activate camera. Any fix for that? Or is there som specific forum/thread fo xperia zr cm11 rom Qs?

fxp250 released
https://sites.google.com/site/projectfreexperia/download/cyanogen-mod-11
Latest CM nightly stuck in endless bootanimation. Erased and wiped everything, reinstalled, again the same. Is it just me ?
Edit : couldn't get it to boot with any boot.img I tried from FXP or CM. Finally did with the one from BeanStalk. Sigh.
fxp251 is up
GoOd
Latest nightly with CM11.0 seems to be running very nicely. So far smooth experience with no bugs spotted. Only missing feature : when phone is off and you hold physical camera button, it should start the camera but it dosen't. Same thing when you're on the lock screen, physical button dosen't work there. However it does work on the homescreens and start up really well. Another thing, I flashed Google Dialer add-on. The Google Dialer worked properly but I kept on getting popup "com.android.phone" has stopped, especially when I wanted to change quick setting pulldown menu. Last thing, it identifies my device to be a Xperia Z not ZR and in device model it says my device is "C5503" but it actually is "C5502". Everything else seems to be going really well.
devs could you look at some of the outstanding issues...

Installation Instructions (These are all required)
ROOT and BOOTLOADER unlock required following the linked guides.
Flash THIS custom TWRP recovery with SELinux capabilities.
Download latest ALPHA from http://downloads.codefi.re/jrior001/cm/espressovzw.
Locate 5.1 Gapps via a quick Google search.
Wipe factory/data reset in recovery before installing CM12.1 (unless you are already on a CM12.1 build).
Reboot into recovery and install ROM and gapps.
Known Issues:
LTE radio - Acts up at times requiring a reboot. Causes wakelocks
GPS sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Reboot usually fixes it.
CAMERA - 720p recording fails, all other resolutions work well
USB wakelocks after removing USB cable, "USB Connected" pop-up doesn't go away.
OTG/keyboard dock doesn't work at all
Overall device is smooth and stable minus the above listed issues. I will continue to work on these but wanted to get some feedback on this so far as well. I'm open to assistance if anybody else has one of these and some talent and wants to help.
Huge thanks:

It is lonely here but whatever, i'm still working on it in my spare time. Fixed camera in new build i just uploaded. Also BT is working, sort of....sometimes. Not sure whats going on with BT but i'll keep at it.
I have been waiting for this forever thank you so much. I was almost giving up on this tablet. Thank you for the hard work. I love me some lollipop.

I'm not as experienced as some others so this took 3 attempts I think...in between 3-4 month breaks to get the 3.4 kernel booting but I finally got it.
I've got GPS fixed and I'm close on USB. Its proper in windows I think but Linux connectivity is still giving me issues. I'll try to get a new build up in a few days with all that.
I my self am on linux. I use elementray os.
2/28 build is up now, GPS and USB should be proper. OTG/dock still not working but not a major concern for now.
The new update says 403 forbidden when trying to download?

No, I could likely make one though.
Use the did method outlined in the old recovery thread or cheat like I do and download "flashify" from market to flash recovery
This ROM is great. I installed peel ir remote app but it says this tab does not have ir blaster. It does have a ir blaster. Is that only a touchwiz app?

I doubt IR is working at all...that's on my list to test/debug.
USB is still a little wonky, the notifications never clear.

Just put up a fresh build, IR blaster seems to be working now.
For those who have tried this ROM, can anyone confirm whether or not wireless data is working? I don't have a vzw account to test with.

I don't either. Or I would.
I can confirm that data is working. Thank you for breathing new life in this tablet
Edit. Had running for a full day and data works most of the time. A soft reboot fixes it though

If you wouldn't mind I'd like to see the logs when it craps out. I still have some hacks in place for debugging. When it acts up, reboot to recovery and grab the following:
/data/data/logcat.txt
/data/data/kmsg.text
/data/data/radio.txt
Oh and there is a newer recovery build and an updated build at the download link.
I'm dropping the "ALPHA" label at this point. Everything that should be working seems to be in order at this point and the builds are more than reasonably stable. I just uploaded a fresh build w/f2fs support on /data and /cache if anybody is interested in using that. Changing /data to f2fs will require a FULL factory reset and SDCARD wipe as sdcard is emulated on /data/media so be prepared to lose EVERYTHING. TWRP 2.8.5 is required if you wish to reformat anything as f2fs. Both are available at my codefire download link in the OP.
A few minor annoyances remain:
Charging is painfully slow.
USB OTG doesn't work at all.
Plugging USB to PC tends to create some nasty wakelocks.
LTE data is glitchy.
Keyboard dock support hasn't been brought in.

[ROM][ALPHA] LineageOS 15.1 for hllte

Code:
/*
* Your (probably expired) warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
This is a WIP barely working build of LineageOS 15.1 for the note 3 neo 4g (SM-N7505 aka hllte). If you have the 3g variant and are willing to test pm me.
Needless to say, this is not suitable as a daily driver.
Not working:
Camera
HW decoders (have them disabled, so youtube playback kinda sometimes works. OMX is broken af)
HWC/gralloc (some weird horizontal black lines appear on screen when rotating the device and opening the app switcher, also general ui stutter)
Several kinda system crashes
probably same bugs as firelord's cm14.1
TWRP
Download ROM
If you want to report any bug (which there are many of) make sure to also attach a logcat (adb logcat -b all > something.txt).

Ha, thanks for your words man, it really means alot. I got this phone on a whim a while ago for really cheap and i've been tinkering with it since to pass the time. I really hope i can figure out these graphical glitches and then maybe who knows.. perhaps los16
Hey i just wanted to say that i played around with the rom and tried running it on the 3.4.113 kernel upstream by mseskir but it didnt boot. The kernel is meant for hl3g but it on worked on hllte on los14.

That kernel isn't ment to boot. I made many segnificant changes to my kernel to make it boot on los15 which aren't included on los14 kernels.

This is a weird bug on most los roms. It happens on my note10+ with official los19 too. Basically never connect to the internet in setup wizard and skip through it all. When you reach homescreen you can open play store and login. Also those system crashes are known about, just press close on them.

Hello,
is this Rom still maintained?
Or does anyone now wether there is a newer Rom for Note 3 neo?
I'm considering this rom but since it's in Alpha state I'm not sure yet.
Thanks for your help in advance.

I'm on and off working on it. Right now i have a relatively stable los16 build but without camera and sometimes? wifi working. It's really weird and hard to track down what's causing these issues. But i do keep trying stuff. Community for this device seems to be almost non-existant so i have very little motivation, only working when am really bored.

Hi I know there aren't many people out there using this phone.
The Camera doesn't matter to me.
Wifi would be a bigger issue.
Can I check it out is it available that would be great.
Thanks for your work on this device

I'll try and make a proper release in the coming days on this forum. There's still one or two things i want to try. If i don't make a breakthrough i'll upload what i have and leave it as-is. If i forget you can ping me again, i don't mind
I'm also uploading my current wip build in the same gdrive folder as the old ones in first post so if you're impatient you can try that.
And if there are more than a few people using this platform maybe we could setup a telegram, that'd be fun
EDIT: If you do try the test build, let me know how wifi and usb (mtp and adb) work. OMX (youtube/video playback) should still be a mess as i've been working on the other bugs and haven't touched them
