[Q] Is it possible to convert an S4 Active into a Nexus device? - Galaxy S 4 Active Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

It's possible to convert standard Galaxy S4 devices into Nexus devices (plain Google Android OS), so I was wondering if it is possible to convert an S4 Active into a Nexus device as well.

Presuming you mean a stock Android experience, people are working on porting the Google Play edition S4 ROM to the Active on the link below, but in don't think it's ready for the faint hearted yet.

i liked that app on my SGS
but there was a bug with the Emails
it always gets lots after new emails arrives
I would love if that apk wored on our Neuxs
I enjoyed that app on my vibrant,i was just wondering hopefully a dev can get it working right one day
I guess I am the only one interested in video downloads. I love watching videos on my vibrant and would move to the Nexus if it had access to tv/movie downloads or streams. Anyone get the media hub working on the Nexus?
it probably requires DRM in TouchWiz or something since Galaxy S is making Media Hub exclusive to Samsung's TouchWiz Experience? who knows.

Can we get chronium os?

Is there anyway to get chronium os working on our tab? There is another newer 7 inch tablet running it. Freescale make a tab that runs linix android or chronium. There are a few others.
Is there anyone working on this?

To be honest, I think that the Chrome OS will work much better on Tablets than on Netbooks. I would like to try one too if ever.

[Q] All share cast for note

Under the official specs of note 2, I saw it says all share cast for display mirroring on compatible devices. Upon searching further on the Internet I found that display mirroring uses wifi direct, which our note already has. So can it be ported to our note or is there any display mirroring application available currently on Google play?

Is "ScreenSlider by REDFLY" the Google Play app you are looking for perhaps? Ive never tried it myself but I think it can booth extend and mirror screen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Spen App

Hi over a week ago I bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note II mobile phone and love it especially some of the Spen functions etc.
But my tablet is a Motorola Xoom II and would like to know if its possible to put the Spen app on my Xoom II eg the one from the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet.
Thanks

Asked a similar question myself, and the theory seems to no, as the s note app requires the touchwiz framework to function properly.
I have found a similar app called memo in the play store, designed for note again but worth a try (didn't work on my nexus 4 or xoom).
What are you looking for in a note app?
Couple of one's similar to a note is freenote (bad UI in my opinion though), and handynote. Great features but limited colour options on drawing.
Another option is Asus' supernote, can be found as a download on these forums.
Hope any of this helps.

You will not be able to use the s-pen itself on the xoom as there is a layer on the note that allow it to sense the pen. You would still be able to use a regular capacitive touch screen pen though.
