How does the Google "Ecosystem" influences your life?

Google has put out awesome (and some not so awesome) apps to help out on your everyday life and entertainment.
How do you use these apps?
Watch a movie using Chromecast or other device?
Maps to find your way home?
Play Music to jam ?
what is the most useful app to you and how does it help or entertain you?????

I use:
Youtube every day (Most channels offerings are better than TV)
Maps (Sat-Nav occasionally)
Google Play (Obvious reasons)
Google search (^Ditto^)
Again the most useful is Youtube as it generally serves as my main news source
Google Ads (Yeah that is where my money come from)
Youtube (Obvious)
Google Search (..No comment...)
Gmail (I prefer Outlook but still use Gmail because of work)
Chromecast (Have one and it's bored)
Maps (The most accuracy map in my place)
Google Play (Unavoid-able)
Google Drive ....
Many more..
Google search on daily basis
Google drive, sheets, docs to keep sync between Android and PC, also edit sheets with both
Gmail as a primary mail address
Videos from YouTube (watching and sharing own videos privately with friends)
Maps & streetview for searching places (panoramio is also one good place when "web-travelling" )

[Q] Must have apps

So, as I said earlier, I'm changing from iOS (today, hopefully).
Some of you have been playing with your note 4 for a bit now.
What are the must have apps for you?
Dropbox , rar , sketbook for galaxy , kingsoft office , some google app, facebook, twiter, 9GAG, more and more
Open your google play store and find out my friend
Evernote now seems to have great support for the S Pen
Feedly is good if you read the same pages day after day - with Feedly you can save time because it gathers headers from the pages you choose and allows you to quickly go through them and only read those that are interesting.

Lost functionality

So I've rooted, xposed, and sim unlocked my phone, between these I've somehow lost the ability to use Wifi Calling (or even find it's menu) and add cards to Android Pay.
I'm running the Stock T-Mobile firmware DOJ7 with UniKernal v8.
Just at a glance does anyone know why I would've lost these functions? What services and requirements are there to use wifi calling? Does Android Pay even work when rooted?
Any help or links would be appreciated. I'm going to continue searching these forums for what would've disabled Wifi-Calling. If I find anything I'll update this post.
Here are the apps/services I've frozen.

Load and use non-VR app withinVR app?

Is it possible to "load" an existing, non-VR app ("app1") into a "shell" VR app ("app2") and navigate app1 ? For example, you have a calculator app. Can you load this app into a "blank" VR app and use the calculator app from within the Samsung Gear headset? Can the calculator app receive events (button clicks, head movements etc) from the Gear/shell VR app?
Samsung PhoneCast VR Beta - Not perfect (after all it is beta). But there are many Android apps that work with this app. "Go to Labs" is where you can see many apps that you can use (most will work) in Gear VR. I use this to watch CBS all access, Amazon Prime Video, and more. The Samsung calculator didn't show for me. I did find that Office Calculator (paid version) did work great with this app. Also couple of calendars that I have in my Note 8 worked good with this app. Also email app, Gmail app, messenger apps, Hangouts app works too. Viewing events, making appointments, responding to emails and messages, writing emails and messages, etc.
You can get Samsung PhoneCast VR in Oculus Gear VR online Store, in the Oculus app store that you can access from Oculus Home while using the Gear VR headset, or from Oculus app in you Samsung device.
This currently works with S8, S8+, S9, S9+, Note 8, and Note 9.

It is the virtual tape. Anyone that has done accounting knows how valuable calculator tape is. You can even copy the tape and paste it into another app to save and print later. As well as do calculation corrections just by long pressing on what you want to correct on the tape and make the correction.
I personally don't want ads on productivity applications. That means No ads on business applications for me. So I pay $1.95

BTW - Who in the world asks about looking up "events" in a calculator?
I figured you mean "calendar". So I put in my experience with couple of calendars with Gear VR. Still just to be thorough I added my experience with calculators too with the Gear VR.
Interacting with an app is an "action". With that answer only with your remote controller and headset controls. No head movement and looking would trigger an action in Samsung PhoneCast.

google store app

Is it possible to add a google store app? I would like to take away the samsung tx msg app and add signal the app i use on my cell. Was reading i needed to add GAssist to be able to load google apps but can't even find that app to load it. t/u
GAssist does NOT load any google apps on your watch. All that GAssist does is talk to your phone and send Google Assistant data from your phone to your watch. All Samsung watches are running TizenOS which is different from Google's Android OS. You can't install any apps from the play store on your watch. You can install companion apps for your phone from the Play Store, but you'll need the siblings on your watch from Galaxy Store.
No, google apps are Android; the watch os is Tizen...
