Why didn't you include the OtherOS ODIN images? You should make an OtherOS Category, and add the Ubuntu and Gentoo (CLI only) images.

These images REPLACE Android (you can revert with the original ODIN image), so no dual boot (though it's possible).

There is only one file in the zip file with this name (P7510XEUKL2_P7510XXKL2_HOME.tar.md5) i select the PDA and push the start button, but very little progress bar shown on my tab then stopped, and not increase the progress for 1 hour. and the last task in the odin message box is "image.cache" then i reboot the tab and error comes "error occurred during boot" then i again start the tab by pressing the volume down + power button then it comes on the selection page for downloading mode and recovery mode. then i go to recovery and recover my backup.
Plz guide me how i install the stock rom in my tab.

I have a galaxy tab and it serves very well. The reason why I bought another tab note because of using chinese handwriting. So I want to make a request if not bothering you, can you also make a version of N8010ZSALI1? It can be found in sammobile with the country select "Taiwan".

It is possible if i get the original ROM ... but on sammobile.com i get no N8013 Firmeware....

hey, thanks for this, my first ever root
but i did it slightly wrong, i was using a different method as i didnt really understand your write up, so after i installed CWM i forgot to wipe the device or back up any files before flashing the device
to my suprise everything went well and i managed to root it and all my settings/files/apps etc remain working perfectly
no idea if i was just lucky

Also skipped the full wipe. All apps and data still here. Sometimes it helps being lazy!

Hi just a quick Question , I have a Australian 8010 with N8010XWALG4 you reckon i could flash this (its already rooted) however i have not ever updated the unit , i would like to use this if its had that one update that came through. My question again if i place this on my internal card and flashed with CWM would it work ? ( I have made a nandroid backup just in case) How reliable are the Nandroid backups if things go pear shape?

Why the hell would use the freaking annoying hotfile? After every single download( & even failed ones!!!!!) wait 30 mins to start again. Why the hell don't you guys use something like mediafire.com?

Modem comes in standalone package, rom itself does not change your modem by default.

Yes, ArchiDroid is far more than the base.

NG3 changelist is lower than NG1

Has anyone flashed this ROM .... coz i think this ROM is way too slow when compared to ND5 ....
currently i am running Archiport Beta 1 and it is blazing fast as compared to this ROM ...
can someone confirm this??

Because NG1 is UBU and NG3 XX, and UBU releases have different changelogs than XX releases.

I assume you can flash the bootloader independently without any problem on the other parts of the ROM

I tried to create the firmware package myself, for the first time, using ArchiKitchen, and it was easier than I expected. I flashed the new firmware and it works! For anyone interested, the download link is here: https://mega.co.nz/#!z9lTGSLb!duzJLmaUL7xGsDXuSm9Qc2GP8geJMoCZIDl05UGTwgs .
Beware that the firmware is heavily debloated using Archi's debloat list (not ROMCleaner) to around 480 MB. It's also deodexed and zipalligned, includes the latest modem and busybox, and root. Does not have init.d activated, as I don't use it. I used the VD2 region (Vodafone Germany).
I'm not responsible it it doesn't work for someone else!

Have you removed that whole Vodafone CSC Stuff??

I didn't do anything special for CSC removal, but I have it as 'unknown' and I don't have Vodafone apps installed.

[ROM][aroma][i9300] n00t Multi csc Project - stock 4.4.4

this is a Project I've been working on and want to share it
I hope it works as well for you as it does for me.
This is Arter's Back to n00t Rom merged with alexndr's Multi CSC aroma scripts
along with some fixes that have been shared in back to noot thread
For anyone that don't know what Back to noot is, its a Stock Samsung Rom based on Kitkat 4.4.4
I haven't done a lot here just merged the 2 projects using alexndr's dev base
so it at be a little rough as of now, mostly the odd typo here and there,
the csc packages are form a 4.3 stock rom, I was a little concerned about this
but I find it works, and that's all I wanted. so it don't appear to be a problem as far as I know.

Back to n00t v6 with Aroma setup, this is a work in progress and I hope to maintain and fix issues and add more options
having the correct CSC Package for your Region does help in various ways, look it up, for me it gave back call forwarding and call barring options, that were missing before.

so how to install this you ask?
it is wise to do a full nandroid backup, and EFS partition backup, you should do this, trust me, look into it.
and move important items from your internal sd to external sd just in case.
- Download the Rom from below to your SD Card
- fire up your CWM or TWRP Recovery, and you should do a wipe data/factory reset
- select install zip from sd card, and aroma should run and install

Which is not bad. I would say medium level

im pretty sure the sms / mms works ok too, delivery reports work for me , and im sure the 160 character is ok to
question: anyone using back to noot rom, do you have trouble with bluetooth, is it, the calls or music audio that was the problem
the bluetooth calls work for me on this, but haven't tried music audio.

Boeffla kernel 7.2 is very stable on this ROM. I do recommend that kernel on this ROM.
So install it if you want. I use it myself
If lord boeffla gives the go ahead to add it in to aroma option, I may do that.

I installed on flat(930f)
had to change modem and kernel images...
flashed over dev-base,no wipes in twrp...
got true stock permissive kernel...

One q... Does 3minit is in mod is obligatory or we can choose the option to have a stock battery? Thx

Beautiful and clean rom. I just miss one simple thing, it's applock. Not a deal breaker for me, I've added by myself.
Maybe u will include it in future update? I know u made this rom for yourself...but... It's a good stock future ?

I didn't like the app lock feature, I use the Bitdefender one , much better with smart unlock options.

Will do in the next release , I will only include the bootloader in the rom zip.
The Modem will be in a Odin package.

Stable with awesome battery life.

Next release will have a aroma option for this.

Next release will have a aroma option for this with more then one modem to pick from or none. (DQD2, DQD7, DQE8) for now.
The aroma will also give a option just to update the modem without the need to reinstall the whole rom.
The rom mod (3minit, volume warning,..) will also be available in the aroma in feature releases.
The same goes for floating Airmessages
