MiniCM is based on the Cyanogenmod Project and Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod and MiniCM does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for ICS or MiniCM9 is available in the PecanCM Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Hello guys, after changing ROM’s almost from month to month, I finally decided to find a ROM to settle down.
I’ve seen the great stability found nowadays with CM9 ROM’s to this device but I got impressed with the RAM management of MINIROM’s series and since we don’t have any build or port of MiniCM9, I decided to port it myself, and the results have been very satisfactory. Let me introduce you The MiniCM9 ROM.
What you get with this ROM:
• Built for LDPI
• Full hardware acceleration
• BadAss Kernel 1.9.2
• Opengl rendering
• App2sd / Dalvik2sd compatible with 2.1 app2sd (storing to ext2/3/4 pre-existing partition is detected and mounted as such)
• Android's native App2sd (move to sdcard, storing to fat)
• Modular Undervolting handled Settings -> Performance menu (by default not active)
• KSM support
• Extra Settings display option for Ultra brightness, also handled via notification bar icons
• Smooth 2D scrolling in menus
What’s working:
Everything (Except for minor issues).
Known Bugs/Issues:
Update notifications makes settings FC (Of course, Galaxy mini is not officially supported by MiniCM9 Team/Community)
Gallery photo editor (Do you really need this? If you do, download a 3rd party app)
Lockscreen shortcuts section in settings is not properly resized.
Tethering does not work.
CM9.2 bugs that I don’t remember
Instructions:
-In CWM do a full wipe(wipe data, cache and dalvik cache)
-go to “install zip from SDcard” and Choose “MiniCM9_stable_tass.zip”
-Wipe everything again(wipe data, cache and dalvik cache)
-Reboot System
-Enjoy

Test it and tell me what you think about this ROM .

Additional Info:
- This ROM was ported from LG Optimus Me P350. The Base is CyanogenMod9.1 20130402 Build of erikcas.
Here's the original P350 thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2040176
- The Rom is very light: Only 81mb!
- Gapps are included by default, with latest playstore 4.3.10.
- This ROM has only English as system language. Use Morelocale from playstore to get other languages.

Interesting! Will try it out

It's a long story dude, but basically it has to do with framework smali. If in future you're porting an ICS ROM, I can give you a hand if you face this problem, just PM me.

I guess it's just a black image 500x500. You can easilly do that in paint(if using windows).

I've thought about that, but low incall volume bug on CM9.2 bother me, and getting phone.apk from thewhisp make incall screen very strange and unproperly resized which would be strange on a ROM that is built for LDPI.

I've been using it and don't intend to change ROMs anymore, it's very stable, if you don't need tethering I tottaly recommend this ROM as a daily driver.

Ok sir. But being a cm9 based rom, it will still have lags in opening dial pad and phonebook and ".. .not responding" issues? I am probably sounding noob but i hv faced these in many cm9 based roms that i have used so far and i understand these are bugs from cm9.

I don't have these lags on my phone. But if you really wanna know, you gotta go ahead and test it yourself in your phone. Android 4.0 is not intended for mini, we'll face some lag in it sooner or later, if you're not comfortable with this I would suggest CM7 or stock firmware.

basically the difference to maclaws n mine ones is, that the version of maclaw is messed up withh different mods!
like reboot menu option, sound instead of camera toggle on lockscreen! and this is a clean almost bugfree version of clean aosp without any modifications ^^

Indeed. I've tried MacLaw's version and you can tell it's all messed up. Not to mention it has multiple bugs (for eg., native USB/Wifi tethering, Wifi direct and VPN are not working). And battery drains a lot (it doesn't even last a day!...).
So thank you OldDroid for compiling a clean AOSP ICS :good:
Nice
Nice Rom OldDroid :good: keep making builds please.
Seems better than Mcdredd's.
I found some minor issues (that are happening to me anyways), other than the ones you mentioned.
1) Android is slow when installing apps
2) Netflix app - > video's do not play video (black screen), but yet I hear sound...also I can see the video when I skip
3) You said Automatic Screen Brightness is working...its not. (Don't think it can on the ace, can it?)
4) Compass is wrong, and very 'jumpy'
5) Second boot logo Gio GT-S5660
Hope this helps.
btw Fixed-Int2ext4+-Android-4.2.1.zip working for me. (mount system & sdcardext before install)

Re: [PORT][JZO54K][27/03/2013] Mini CM10 Release #1
The Rom is freaking amazing!!! soo smooth and everything is working properly even time-zone the boot animation needs to be resized a bit but that doesn't bother me at all for gapps i've flashed the ones from chemicalrage for CM10 and they work like a charm:fingers-crossed: Overall a good rom:good:
EDIT: i've found 2 nesemnificate but annoying bugs one is the crt animation flickering sometimes & the other one is when connecting to a wi-fi network the status bar becomes a bit fuzzy...
Re: [PORT][JZO54K][27/03/2013] Mini CM10 Release #1

Great ROM fast boot.
Even use a2sd
Random reboot if use seeder.
I think this ROM don't need seeder haha
Because already fast no lag.
Just lil bit lag on browser and cannot play video from browser.
When I try to watch video on Facebook
I can play video in CM10.1
Overall this ROM GREAT for Daily use.

MIUI (pronounced "Me You I", a play on the common abbreviation of the words user interface as UI), developed by Xiaomi Tech, is an aftermarket firmware for cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. MIUI itself is closed source. It features a heavily-modified user interface that does away with the Android app drawer and has drawn comparisons with Apple's iOS and Samsung's TouchWiz UI. The Custom ROM includes additional functionality not found in stock Android, including toggles on the notification pull-down, new music, gallery, and camera apps, and an altered phone dialer that displays matching contacts as a user enters a number

=>Bluetooth
