Y. A. L. TS
If I went on bragging limitless about how superior smooth/nolag/speedy
and ooooh sooo fantastic my current setup is - how can TS be sure that I'm not pulling his leg?
Seriously, looking at the question I really can't understand what it's about. The word BEST must be related to something, but isn't.
So any BEST attribute should cover as answer:
-color
-name
-zip compilation
-boot logo
-battery hog
... pick one

Can someone please mod the MIUI rom?

The MIUI rom is fairly fast, and is very responsive, but I have not recieved the same results as other roms, for example, CM6 RC4. From my (very basic) understanding, there are some mods inputted in the rom which makes the rom faster (not just overclock). Can someone please mod the MIUI rom to make it more fast and snappier?
( JUST A THOUGHT I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS EVEN POSSIBLE! AS MENTIONED ABOVE, I HAVE VERY LIMITED KNOWLEDGE ON THIS STUFF!)
has 1 day of check and you want a mod? What other things do you want? you have to read more and less fantasy.

Why are you so hard on him? The dude has just asked a question...
I believe he refers to some tweaks like in build.props
Please check the forum and read the post about MIUI ... I'm sure you will get enough information from there
is very demanding to want a MOD has not yet emerged when the official ROM in English, you think? sorry for my bad English and if it sounds too hard I say.

Im a newbie to this but it seems to me like it is just another launcher+statusbar tweak+phone app... I've watched few videos and this is what it looked to me.
A little more than that I can say. MIUI also includes the "bounce" feel at the end of lists and also has a completely different theme from the default ListView. It also includes OTA capability from MIUI directly if you use their official versions (although Milestone doesn't seem to have this feature at the moment, while the Nexus One version includes it). The dialer, messaging and contacts app are all custom. Notifications bar also includes switches. It feels more like an overlay like HTC Sense rather than just simple tweaks.

[APP]daily checklist

Hello guys I want app to check somethings I should do every day the app should contain:
- Inserting the things I do every day
- Marking these thins as done or not
- Repeat checklist every day
- Give statistics every weak/month/year
thnx all
Why not use a Google Tasks (Gmail function) frontend ? I've seen a lot of them and I use it personally for deadlines
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.timsu.astrid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.gtask
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.taskos
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anydo
Then you just need to set up your tasks in Gmail
I think there is another better app to give statistics and other info.
Then I'll borrow Zaihanzainal old signature:
Search button: Just do it.
I think this thread should be in Q & A section. Coz from the title I thought this thread is want to share the app

Whatever can we get such as app
Or I should programme it my self
Yes, you could always make it by yourself !
(BTW, I see you're a web developer, I think that you could just make a pseudo-webapp instead of a full java/haxe/c application)

On computer I can make a small website and put it on the local host to use it when I have internet but I want to on the phone and phones don't have local host so I cannot explore it whenever I want
but I'm an android developer and java and c++ too but I want to tae more lessons in android to start programming so I started by java first So wait for this app produced by HEMOALI
Hey, if you know a bit of ActionScript3, you could just learn haXe/NME so that you could build you app for any platform and by a very very simple and fast way
But there are also a lot of tutorials on the Android General section !
Good luck in building it
EDIT: Or even Google's App Inventor should be enough ?

I don't care how old you are, in that post above you asked someone to give you that program - that is considered warez, something that isn't allowed on XDA. There are many Todo apps in the market that are free, try them and make your own choice, but do not ask for anyone to 'give' you anything again here on XDA.

To go to WIFI direct go to Settings, Tap on WIFI - not on on/off button. And on buttom right you will have it. You will need device with same thing, and WIFI router or switch I think. Never tried it.
Edit: Seems that I was wrong about need of an host (router, switch),
Look.
Wi-Fi Direct, previously known as Wi-Fi P2P, is a standard that allows Wi-Fi devices to connect to each other without the need for a wireless access point.[2] This allows Wi-Fi Direct devices to directly transfer data between each other with greatly reduced setup

Again, I understand the concept but what I don't understand is the need of you being so smart-ass in every response. Of course I can use Google, but all I wanted to know if that anyone has been capable of use the the feature in THIS phone, and for what I can see you can't provide me this answer, so stop please.

In first place you annoyed us with posting a new thread just for one question. And there is Q&A theread for that... Lot of people just do that. I would be a lot nicer if you had done that.

You know that It isn't the correct section, don't you?
so why ask for it here??
Galaxy Ace has an ARMV6 processor, it is too old for current heavy games, roms are modifyed to get the best balance between this 2 topic, you can barebone it, doing OC your performance might be reduced...
DON'T FORGET TO ASK IN THE CORRECT SIDE

You should try a bareboned CM7 or stock with some lighter 3er party apps plus using smartassv2 governor, is the best way to increase performance

Below are suggestions for fast and zippy ROMs for your device.
If you want Battery Life search for Stock Based Roms. I would suggest to use "StockLite v8".
If battery is not a concern and gaming performance is what u looking for then u can try "The Ultimatum" Rom
Further i have reviewed a few Roms, you can read and then choose whats best for u. Link below

...You are wrong you know something like READ BEFORE POST?? well, Paul isn't new here xD that's the problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313363 plus he is asking for the same questions he asked :s have a look at the final pages, no offense at all but if we want that our thread works properly, we need to colaborate, read and search and OBEY RULES! It's the best way to help whoever
...and yes, I report to moderators to move every thread to the correct site that I see in wrong section (It's only one of them), so
There are a lot of threads and posts, and moderators can't control every post, you should think about it, It easier that a member look for his question in Q&A thread berofe search for it in a really awful mashup thread, ORDER IS ORDER, we can do it easier and better, so we need to colaborate together
