Hello guys i am looking to buy the gear 2 neo for my Xperia z1, yes i know it wont be able to connect to non Samsung devices except after some modding, i want the gear 2 neo because it is the only watch that have an ir blaster which i need so much, i just want to know, is anyone porting Android wear to the gear 2 neo? Anf if i flashed the null rom will all Samsung galaxy gear features work fine with my stock rooted Xperia z1 lollipop? Is there any othrer watch running Android wear have an ir blaster? And does the gear have a wifi connection?
Please help me asap
The other rom you commented on will work. Neo and gear 2 are same minus camera. But its in development. So not 100% so only time will tell

I have a problem with my Xperia and Gear
I can't connect Neo to Z3 :crying:
Sony Xperia Z3 have Android 6.0.1 Official
Samsung Gear 2 Neo latest official software
I tried connect Gear to Xperia on official app and software and nothing. Xperia can't saw Gear 2 Neo. After this I installed on Gear TizenMod 3.0 and still nothing.
Anyone have any solution? I can't mod Sony because I have 2 years guarantee
i had my loved xperia z3 for a ~3 years and yesterday my phone broke and now i search best replacement for it, i atm looking on xperia XZs \ XZ prem, LG g6, samsung s7 edge \ s8 edge and i help to choose... (what is pros\cons of these phones or better alternates for buying phone)
PS. i'm using sony\sonyericsson for 10+ years

Which smartwatch is compatible with the phone? I will switch from Huawei Mate X2 and have a Smartwatch 3.
