Hi!
Will be grateful if anyone can provide for stock ROM/other custom ROMs for the XOLO A500S. It is the younger brother of the A500 and deserves your love!

A500S Custom Rom Please
Just picked up one of these XOLO A500S models.
I would like a custom ROM as well.
How can I dump my original to send you?

I also have the same model. It seems to be a nice phone so far (1 month approximately).
Is this method suitable for taking the mentioned ROM dump? I can try doing this if anyone can confirm :

Does anyone have xperia ROM for our XOLO A500S???

I have a XOLO a500s mobile .
I have rooted it ...
I want to install a custom rom for that I have downloaded the ios7 rom for that ..
But I am unable to boot my mobile into the recovery mode.
I have tried the mobile uncle tool with the recovery image file ..but mobile just getting reboot not getting in recovery mode...please help me ...

I just bought XOLO A500s and its music sucks!
Somehow i rooted it but cant find CWM for it and without it i cant flash any other sound mod...

i think you didnt get what i meant to say... i am saying that i need ClockworkMod Recovery for my device, NOT rooting apk..
I've already rooted my phone but its just that i am not able to find CWM for my XOLO A500S..

This is obviously off-topic, but could you please help me with rooting xolo a500s? Did you use faramroot apk or any other method?

Framaroot didnt work for me so i found a rooting tool called RootX somewhere here in XDA.. it rooted the device properly but the tale ends not here... after rooting, the phone started to reboot anytime without reason.. sometimes constantly until i removed the battery!! Somehow, i unrooted it using some apk from play store & gave phone a factory reset!! its okie now but without root... :crying:
I am starting a new thread.. u can subscribe the same if u want to root the same device! but i strongly recommend DON'T try to root the device by using untrusted or unknown software... it might brick your device!

Did you try the updated version of framaroot? Apparently this guy here has had success in rooting his device. I'm yet to hear from him about the process and the result.

i m gaming boy so for playing 3d n hd games in this phone i root it
after root i install chainfire 3d pro n open click install tap and phone going restart phone ok
after that Phone Is stuck Xolo Logo. And nothing happen In restor/format set boot setting.
So Plz Help Me.

Chain fire 3d has issues with MTK chip set....all xolo and iris devices face boot loops after installing it cause all are mtk based. Even factory reset won't help you.
Why the hell did you even install it...it's of no use on that phone...you don't need it to play 3d games...it's used to fix color issues or reduce textures. A500 is a good device and doesn't require it.
Have a zip of stock ROM and install it...your phone will be good.

Ask in your thread or your group on FB for stock ROM and the method to install it.
And don't just say thanks ..press it.
It will encourage people to help you.

Then tell your friend to browse the phone group for stock ROM.
If he wants to repair his phone then he surely search and strive for it.

Hey guyz, I bought my lovely xolo a500s 10-11 months back. I want to root my xolo and install a new custom rom in it. Today recently shaam ko I tried my skills on Galaxy grand I9082. We successfully rooted it and installed Gennxt custom rom. All the process was fun and exciting. So now I am in a complete mood to do same to my xolo a500s. After a bit of research, I got into confusion of IPS and NON IPS model.
Please guyz solve my doubt of what model do i really have!! And to add to that...What is the s002 mean in build number?? Does it come between the path of my rooting and flashing custom roms ??

S002 means the firmware ips models have firmware S003 so the rom which supports on a500s will not support in a500s ips it will cause a bootloop i am new here and was searching threads abt xolo so i replyed
