you need to calibrate your battery if you haven't
1.Charge the phone till 100%
2.boot into cwm and wipe dalvik,cache &battery stats..
3.discharge the battery completely or till 1%
4. charge it undisturbed till 100%
it should work..!

completely useless tu go to the recovery wipe "baterry stats" !
the only method to "calibrate" is to use phone on complete discharge ...... and phone turned off ,charge 100% + 30 minutes/ 1 hour ...and turn on it !
If there are baterry problems with customs roms ( not very very "stable" )=> it come from these roms .
to fix it : try a hard reset or reinstall the rom

GT N7000-misleading battery indicator on stock JB

Hello everyone!
So i am having a problem with my N7000.I flashed it to JB with stock ROM the german version of it from this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2241106
I had JB before i flashed it with this ROM but i used KIES to update my N7000.I had that problem since i updated via KIES.
So let's start:
1.I am having a very fast battery drain,here is a pic showing that for only 2 and a half hours my phone is down to 73%.

}
2.The battery indicator is misleading.IDK how to describe it so here is a pic:
Now the thing here is that The green battery bottle when it is 100% it indicates as the bottle is completely green.Now on the n7100 and the S3 and S2 when the battery reaches 90% the green goes down by one line,as for me it goes down at 94%,so i don't see why does it do this.
PS:After flashing my phone i did a full Factory Data Reset.My phone was never rooted or modified.I would really like to see why is this battery indicator misleading.
Thanks everyone in advance .Hope i will get some help here.
Anyone?
80+ views and no one can help?Seriously....
Beacause its not a problem. Maybe?
The battery drain is quite normal specially if the first or second charge-discharge cycle of a newly flashed Rom..
The indicator is quite normal also.. but you can change that on systemUi.apk editing.. or just flash a custom theme..
<<<The CRACKS on my NOTE shows how often it KISSES the FLOOR>>>
Battery indicator is ok, but fast draining its not normal. Try to make factory reset again, this stock rom is scrab.
He has more than an hour of screen on time for 27% of batt...
Estimatedly if you multiply that to 4 times it will give MORE THAN 4 HOURS SCREEN ON TIME which is decent enough..
<<<The CRACKS on my NOTE shows how often it KISSES the FLOOR>>>
The stock battery indicator considers the entire icon to represent 100%.
If you don't fancy that, there are numerous mods in the Themes and Apps section that allow you to customise your battery indicator.

Battery Problem in Official 4.3

Hello folks,
Yesterday i finally became tired of the ridiculous battery life my phone was geting in official 4.3 rooted. I tried another kernels, uninstalling facebook, facebook messenger (those are said to drain battery) and finally i saw something that was the cause: ~30% of battery usage was by Android System, aka samgung included apps. I installed some ROM without those samsung bloats and seems like the battery is normal again (like it was with 4.1.2). I'm still testing and would be awsome if someone else can get a lot more battery life without those samsung apps and be happy again, like me.
By the way, i installed THIS ONE, but i'm almost sure any 4.3 stock rom without those excluded apps will be fine.
BEFORE: Overnight i had ~4% of battery drain with EVERYTHING turned off, wifi, gps, everything!
NOW: Last night i had ~3% of battery drain with wifi and data ON!
Weird isn't? I think our phone had a very bad OTA this time. Share your experiences! Hope you all get a better battery with this
world wide web says 4.3 OTA across all models has a negative battery defect.
did you root directly from android 4.3?

WIFI always on yesterday since 3:00pm, switched it off about 12:30 am.
About 12:40 am i switched mobile data on. Mobile data was on til 9:00 am, then i switched all toogles off.
Turned on WIFI AND mobile data about 4:00 pm and until now its all switched on except GPS.
When battery reached something like 5% i will update the post.
Reporting 2:
Now my battery level is 5%, here is my usage since last report. Something i didnt said earlier is that im usimg agni kernel 3.3, cause boeffla caused me random reboots. Using zzmoove as governor and everything else with default values:
WIFI on til midnight, hear some music before this on phone speaker
Switched all off on sleep, at this time (12:40 am) battery level was about 26%
Today turned WIFI on about 9:00 am listening music and browsing
Bellow are screenshots of battery stats today

Problem with kernel

Can anyone help? I just got my Nexus 6 a few days ago and have already had a lot of problems. Battery draining fast, randomly turning off, phone battery "dying" at 45% etc. I heard the Franco kernel could fix this so I flashed it via fast boot (storage wasn't mounted in recovery so I couldn't do it that way. But in any case the fast boot flash went through and the battery started draining normally so I thought all was good. I even took a screenshot just in case.

That was until my phone randomly turned off and when I turned it back on the battery was draining super fast again so I checked kernel and here is what I believe is the stock kernel reverted back on its own
I don't know what causes this but it's happened twice and not sure how else to proceed.

When I got my N6 about 19 months ago the battery life was not enough for a day.
I got a better battery life as follows.
a. Deleted apps I hardly use.
b. Switch apps to use black/dark themes. Use layers with dark themes.
c. Deleted apps with only a white background.
Replaced f.i. Gmail by Aquamail.
At this moment I use the lite stock rom MOB30m of Danvdh. Prerooted and debloated.
I suggest to start with flashing this ROM.

I signed up for the Android N beta and updated, that seems to have fixed the draining problem but not the battery dying at 50% . Any ideas how to fix that? Or do I need a new battery?

Sounds like a calibration issue. Google that and try and see if that helps.

P) high battery drain

hello everyone, here is my problem - in last couple of week i'm having really big battery problems (to the point i'm thinking of smashing my phone to the ground ) I take my P9 of the charger and it says it is at 100%, after only few min it drops to about 90%, and when i open some app (facebook atc) it freezes and when i try to turn it on again it says 0% battery!! when i hook it up on charger it takes 20 mins to charge to 1%, and when i turn it on again it says anywhere between 40% and 100%!!! Freezing most commonly appears when i turn on my camera and take a picture, it snaps then freezes. Tried with the factory reset it didn't help.
Please anybody!!!
Most likely the battery has worn out. Is it still under warranty?
Same here, sometimes camera apps freeze and then i will reboot it. After reboot, phone shows 5% power and then force itself into shutdown. The battery actually may not empty as told by phone, when i start charging, it shows more than 5% and phone actually have juice to run longer.

Sounds like a battery replacement to me. Have to tried installing AccuBattery or anything similar to check the battery health?

It's not the battery causing this fault

I have replaced the battery in my P9 and it still gets a power drain when the camera is operated. This usually occurs in low light environments. If I immediately turn the phone back on it starts up with maybe 20% battery, which then drops 1% a second and gets hot. This is with a brand new battery fitted. I conclude there is a glitch with updated software. Hopefully Huawei will read these posts and correct with future updates.

Not the battery
Try removing your sd memory card. I think a malfunctioning sd card was causing issue of battery drain during camera use. I can't explain the full science behind this, but my p9 phone has been fine since I removed the sd

Question Important battery drain not understood

Hello all,
I recently buy an OPPO find X3 pro and I'm really annoying with battery life. I could not succeed to reach more than 3h of SOT and would like to know if it's normal.
I already perform a factory reset without success (back-up and restore from a PC). I don't know what to do know.
I've installed GSAM and allow "more stats" with ADB and notice that Android System is the most battery consumer but I don't know if it's normal. In idle, power consumption is acceptable 3-5% overnight but as soon as use it I see battery level decrease rapidly.
I've also a Galaxy watch. At the begining I saw a high drain from "watch plugin" but I authorize it to run in background + no battery optimization and it seems Ok now.
Does anyone have a solution to help me solve this problem ? I really like this new phone btw (after my old OP6T) but the battery is really awful...
Thanks in advance !
Below some screenshots :
2h20 of SOT only and 35% left

Hi,
I had the same problem. Did the following:
1) Reset to factory settings;
2) Restarted the phone;
3) went to Settings > Battery > More Settings > Optimise battery use > set all apps to Auto-Optimise.
If you want to test if you probably have a faulty battery you shoud do the following:
1) charge your phone till 100%;
2) restart the phone;
3) disconnect it from the charger;
4) switch on airplane mode;
5) leave the phone unused for 8-10h.
If the battery drops bellow 93%, you have a faulty battery that needs to be replaced.
Bare in mind that this processor is very power hungry, nevertheless OPPO should have predicted it and pack with the phone a, at least, 5000mAh battery.
Hope it helps!
