Nope no remote control

Remote control would be nice. Even more so stamina mode or something similar or is there an app that can do the same? I tested two but they did not work.

That seems oversimplified. Why shouldn't we? Not the exact sony apps of course but something similar?
I am currently testing different apps and it looks like one can have the functionality of "staminda mode" on AOSP.
MAybe there is a remote control app out there that works?

I just went to download this ROM and noticed the filename refers to pollux. So I guess this is for the LTE version only?
If so, I think you should make that clear in the OP and/or thread title because someone will probably install it on their pollux_windy (WiFi only) = disaster
Anyway, thanks for you work (thanks button pressed)

I am still waiting for approval from t3hh4xx0r to be part of their team, I have tried contacting them in multiple ways. Once I am in, you are able to download nightlies and stables and themes and kernels from the rom itself. A current workaround is to change all occurences in build.prop from p990 to p999 and rebooting. Be sure to not download any rom or kernel though! They are for the american g2x.
Thanks Mike for this release !

This rom has different mods. It will soon include upgrades from the rom itself. Things it has as a bonus are things like a music widget, hiding icons from the status bar, a miui-style battery bar, moving statusbar widgets to the bottom, a custom launcher, a custom carrier name and other interesting stuff. Why don't you give it a try?

Quite fast actually, comparable to CyanogenMod in my opinion, but I guess my opinion is biased. You can use vorkkernel on this, by the way.

Differences are that OMGB is very close to AOSP, where OMFGB has more mods. Some from cm and some completely new.

Scimitar ROM is a ROM which is meant to be lightning fast, battery friendly, and have customization options. It most certainty doesn't disappoint. It is based on Rascalo's source with the main difference being that it's built from Linaro with few customization here and there.

If you really like this ROM, consider donating to this 16 year old lad. No, he doesn't get high off of drugs, but rather off of Android. I will never ask for donations other than in this post and it won't affect how much time I put into this ROM, but it will make me with my ideal family: Me, my laptop, and a Starbucks Coffee Frappuccino. Thanks again

Also, guys who are asking where the downloads are, you have to be on the desktop version to see the downloads tab. I just find that since XDA has made it organized for us to use, that we should take advantage of it. This however, can be changed if you guys don't like the system
i hope people who tested this out can share their screenshot.

* Status Bar Mods
* Theme Manager
* Hardware Key Mod
* Lock Screen Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls

Mein as well... enjoy folks, let me know how it runs! Tested on CDMA Photon Q (xt897), should work fine for other msm8960 moto's.
NFC, BT, turn on but are untested. Wifi works great, as does 3g.
I use PA gapps, but any 4.4.2 gapps should work. Enjoy!

This has the stock CM kernel. You want to over/underclock you need to run a custom kernel.
Thanks for confirming the home button, I figured that would be the case. I'll push a patch for that tonight.
So do I flash the aosp kernel or cm 11kernel since it says aosp based ? Thanks bud !!

Looking, it seems you are talking about xt925. Perhaps something failed with the upload, it happens. Hence why they are nightlies, there will be a new build tomorrow

It's a proprietary blob issue from what I gather - all 4.4 ROM's will have the issue, likely until we have an official 4.4 ROM from the OEM.

Unfortunately. Scroll up, look at post #11/12.
So far the ROM is pretty solid. Is it possible to include and option to hide the battery icon? I prefer the battery bar but its overkill to have both. Also not sure if this is with all 4.4 ROMs but I can't get bookmarks to sync with AOSP browser.
Edit: found a small bug. I am unable to adjust the brightness settings based on the amount of incoming light. It is that small settings icon on the right that is not working.

@laufersteppenwolf
Great! Works perfectly. With stock kernel, you can not install paid apps. [emoji106]
With your anykernel all right.
EDIT / One small thing: Flashlight does not work.
Best regards

Yeah, I knew that the time I posted it, but I didn't think goo would need that much time to bring the new front end online
Anyway, it's all fixed now

Welcome to the FixedStock Project! this rom was made to be used as base or daily use for everyone (Proper credits needed). There is a lot of fixes in this version, that will make the overhaul experience much better, try by yourself! but remember, this is an unnoficial update it was not made by asus, but by me.
-Some of the fixes are:
+ Recents screen no longer lags and is totally fluid
+ Videos from YouTube, Browser, etc are totally fixed
+ Enabled Fake Shadows for better performance
+ KitKat battery xml's adapted (testing, need SOT screenshots)
+ Zenfone 2 build.prop enhancements
+ Volume panel increasing-decreasing sound fixed (a crescent audio)
+ Many other backgroud fixes
-Improvements:
+ Way better ram management
+ Secret ambient display added
+ DT2W
+ Minimum screen brightness decreased to 1
+ Pcodes 2.0x added
+ Faster SD cards speeds
+ Full modding support
+ Sound Overhaul
+ Camera speed and quality improved
+ Recomended for daily use
You must alwery know how to install a rom like this:
Flashable Zip: DOWNLOAD HERE
All you need is included in the rom with only 541mb (Gapps, SuperUser, Some asus apps...) Gamma version of this engine will be exclusive to Delta Recreated Liquid
If you are having Signal Loss, use this app recomended by: @viniciusptur Link
If you are going to use this rom as an engine base for your's, give proper credits AND add this: [FSP][SPO] in the rom thread name. That means FixedStock Project and StockPerformanceOverhaul
Ex: [FSP][SPO][5.0] BlackPerformance 2.0
Thanks to @mdfzhi, for making the awesome kernel

It's basically asus interface, it was made like this to modders like me and others to edit as they like, but I will post some shots more later, and instructions too

I did say in the thread, but I think it isn't clear, is the "TOO LAZY TO PICK A FANCY NAME FOR THE KERNEL" hahaha, this kernel is awesome!
Quick review : stable, no bug encountered yet, fluid, smooth, sound a bit louder and better than stock, dt2w and dt2s works perfectly and I cant posted the screen on time yet, more than 300MB /system free space so it's a bit roomy than any other custom ROM, booting for the first time really takes a time so don't think it won't boot (tested by me it boots).
Regarding the screen shoot : sorry I cant posted it cos nothing's changed in the UI, simply the UI is same as stock.

Oh yeah there is a feature I din't tell in the thread, you can add 2 more quick settings in the status bar, and the minimum amount of them is 0, so you can disable the quick settings now! or do some crazy theming :fingers-crossed:

Nice bro, appreciate ur work and it's better if u add some features like bluelight rom or darkblue rom, but you can aside my thought cos it just my opinion. Good.

This ROM is probably for the purpose of providing a base to other ROMs and if I am right , the dev is working on Recreated ROMs for customization.
Great job I would be happy if the apps were already updated
It can be used with locked bootloader + stock kernel?

To be honest the asus apps aren't updated yet, so u have to connect to wifi or be ready for massive data charge in updating those apps in the playstore. But this ROM is awesome. [emoji4]
