Pi as repo sync box - Raspberry Pi Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have an idea to use raspberry to sync android sources through the night. I would be building on full machine of course, but I feel that raspberry could be used to sync sources.
So is there repo and git tool for pi?

Win phone 8 on note???

Can we install windows phone 8 on our n7000, like there was an option on htc hd2. Can we dump the win os and install it on our android ????
Microsoft can put thia option to cut android users.

Microsoft is closed source, so there's no way of getting the kernel to communicate with the hardware. Not possible. Check out Launcher7 from the play store.

Thanks, but even if its a closed os, dumping the os is still possible or is it not??
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
As said you can probably dump the osbut there's no chance of getting it to to talk to any hardware so it's pointless.

Has anyone else had issues getting it to work on Mac with the Gear? I can not get it to recognize the gear at all.

Nope, at least not in OS X. I use VMware and run Win 7 Ultimate in a virtual drive. Good thing about that way is Wondershare runs for free indefinitely.

If you're running it in a Windows environment in vmware, did you install the Samsung drivers?

Kit Kat 4.4.1 Cast?

Anyone play around with the new option in 4.4.1? Could be related to the new build on stock CC?

False alert.... I think its just for wireless display...miracast. The menu options used to be somewhere else. But I'm on Owned cast and not the build that came out yesterday.

Gnome 3 as webapp(ipk to be uploaded shortly)

So I have always thought gnome 3 would be a great tablet interface for big tablets and I found a port of gnome 3 wrote in JavaScript and available to test and use on a webpage(that I'll share later).
So I took the Google Music Wrapper and modified it to get a full screen experience, and since its wrote using enyo you can scroll on Firefox and through the app drawer instead of tapping on the scroll bar.
At the moment I'm running it on his server, but I plan with help of any developer to build the packages for webos and create a server on the touchpad so you can have the OS native.
The ipk I have created will be uploaded shortly to test(when I get home), the cool thing is you don't need to multiboot because its an application!
If any developer wants to help please PM me.

Sorry I haven't posted the APK yet, I'm working on bringing this natively instead of a webapp. If I can't get it working with C++ and internal storage, then I'll just make a java webapp.

Gnome 3 beta 1.0 for android added to second post.
I will work on this further. Only works for Android Tablets and Netbooks.
Shows a Full screen button when ran on phones. I'll try and fix this later.
