I have the XT1058. Mine was locked to AT&T, but I unlocked it with a code. There is some bloatware, but most of it can be disabled without root. The only thing I had to use root to uninstall was the AT&T address book. It should pick up LTE just fine, but I'll let you know for sure later tonight. I'm not in an LTE area right now.

LTE works great.

post #17 states that he used cellunlocker (dot) net with success and that he is running on att LTE after turning LTE on after sim card swap.
That's exactly what I did and everything is working perfectly.

Canadian variant with AT&T

Does anyone have any experience or is anyone currently using any of the Canadian variants on the AT&T network?
I'm about to pull the plug and buy a unlocked Telus version of the Note 3 on Negri, but I'm not sure yet. I don't plan on rooting it or anything; I would like to just run it on the AT&T network straight out of the box.
Thanks
Mine is a Bell phone unlocked and it works fine on AT&T with their SIM

Which Unlocked Phone for AT&T LTE?

I want to purchase a unlocked Galaxy note 3, which version should I purchase that supports AT&T LTE and has Snapdragon processor?
Will this one work? http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galax...&qid=1387909957&sr=8-4&keywords=Galaxy+Note+3
That will work but you wont have LTE connection on ATT. The only variant that will give you LTE besides the ATT version is the Tmobile version SM-N900T

Ok... So you're thinking about buying an unlocked phone that was originally a Verizon phone but was used on T-Mobile that you want to use on AT&T? That is a bit convoluted, each vendor uses different bits of spectrum and a Verizon phone isn't a pure GSM phone such as AT&T or T-Mobile might have, I would be cautious, why not just get an unlocked AT&T device?
That being said, if it can be used on a GSM network like T-Mobile it should work on AT&T, the problem being that - as I said - each carrier uses different bits of the spectrum.
Save yourself the potential hassle and buy the proper AT&T model.
Yeah i am being cautious I'm passing on it thanks for the responses

Sprint nexus 6 compatible with other carrier's?

I've searched everywhere.. All throughout the q&a but nothing so my apologies if I missed it or if this was posted/asked again... But anyway is the sprint nexus 6 compatible with other carriers like straight tall or att, T-Mobile, Verizon? And if so will it get 4g LTE on those networks?

I also have a similar question. Can a sim card from an overseas carrier be used on a Sprint Nexus 6?
Im not too sure about your question but based on the following website, it seems positive.

yes. itll work on att, and sprint/verizon(if the imei gets put into their system since they are cdma carriers, or you put in a currently used nano sim). the tmobile nexus 6 is exactly the same as the one you buy from the play store.
I'm successfully using Straight Talk with the AT&T SIM on my Nexus 6 from Sprint. It's an unlocked phone despite what the guys at the Sprint store try to tell you.

you can't change it manually. it gets changed according to your service/sim card.
That's what I figured
