[Q] Will this phone support Three UK LTE? - HTC Butterfly S

Really interested in this over the HTC One due to micro sd and bigger battery
I've found it here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-SIM-F...67970?pt=UK_Mobile_Phones&hash=item1e7fd338e2
They say:
O2
Virgin
Orange
T-Mobile
Vodafone
Tesco
3G/4G Network Compatible. Call 3 to confirm full compatibility.
My network is "3"... will this phone work on my network? (and the upcoming 4g service they will launch in December)
Thanks

As long as it's the 901S version it will work on EE & 3's 4G Network, not sure on their 3G. Works with EE's 3G though.

Quick question about HD7: is US version supports Rogers network in Canada + 3G?
You can use the phone on Rogers, but you will NOT get 3G. Trust me I'm using the phone with FIDO right now, and all you will get is Edge. The T-Mobile bands for 3G are different than Rogers/FIDO. I beleive you can run the phone quite nicely on Wind Mobile network and get 3G.

T-Mobile Nexus One in France

I have a T-Mobile version N1 and I'm wondering if I will be able to use my phone in France if just pop in a pre-paid SIM card. I've read a bunch of stuff online that makes it seem like only the AT&T version will have access to 3G and I'll only be stuck with EDGE. Is this true?
Thanks
French 3G operators have license for 2100MHz and 900MHz 3G bands.
Your TMO N1 will work just fine.

[Q] Will a T-Mobile Nexus One get 3g in UK?

I have the T-Mobile N1 (1700/2100 I believe) and was wondering if it would get 3g on any service provider in the UK, and if so what service provider(s) will it work on? Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Yes, your Nexus One is fully compatible with all GSM/UMTS providers in Europe - you won't have to worry about supported frequencies.
so I'll get 3g on all of them as opposed to edge?
Yes, you will be able to get UMTS ("3G") reception wherever it is available and will be able to use the faster data standards HSDPA and HSUPA on your Nexus One, just like with T-Mobile US, on all networks.

that's great. thank you so much for the reply
I know you've got your answer now but just so you're certain I live in England and bought my N1 back in January, straight from America on their T-Mobile network. Been using both Orange UK and GiffGaff (on O2 network) since then for 3G without a problem.
cool. thanks for confirming this

[Q] Using LTE in Japan with european HTC One

Hey guys,
I moved to Japan for half a year and got myself a bmobile LTE data sim card for this time period. When I connected the first time after entering the apn settings for LTE provided by bmobile I had LTE signal and ultra fast Internet. Sometimes I just have LTE, but most of the time I am stuck with 3G and it's somewhat slower than back in Europe. So my phone is a german HTC One M7 and I am running Insertcoin 2.80 on it. Is there anything I can do to get constant LTE (Radio/Kernel/Firmware)? LTE is definately always avaible here in Nagoya, but they are using somewhat different channels than in Germany.
Thanks in Advance!

HTC ONE M7 verizon

Hi
I bought an used phone from some eBay dealer
the phone was on Verizon network
I am from Israel and using the local orange network
the phone works just fine except I cannot enjoy the 4g (LTE) network
when I put on LTE mode I just get no reception at all
maybe it is some frequency issue? (in Israel the LTE runs on 1800/2600)
how please can I solve this issue?
should I Install an appropriate rom for my network (where and how can I get it?)
or is it a hardware fixed frequencies which suitable for Verizon only and cannot be changed?
Thanks a lot

Verizon is a very US specific carrier they use there own CDMA mobile technology different from the GSM network world wide network.
Some Verizon phones are GSM capable to allow call roaming in different country's they call these "World Phones" but they do not offer any 4G services outside of the US.
Basically you will as far as I know only get 4G on a CDMA network in the US. Unless someone can correct me. :good:
Edit :-
Code:
So what's the problem? Why can't Verizon's 4G LTE devices roam internationally? First, there are few LTE networks built outside the U.S. But the main reason is that Verizon's LTE network and devices are not compatible with any other wireless carrier's network because the spectrum frequency and the specifications developed for its sliver of wireless spectrum is different from any other carrier in the world.
