AMZER cases at Amazon

Has anyone bought an Amzer case from Amazon? Gel or TPU? Any good?

I know someone talked about it in the Vibrant forum. Might wanna check over there. I think the person did a mini review.

I ordered one but it won't ship until january.

I ordered a black silicone case as well as their screen protector to try out for the hell of it. They are out of stock so there will probably be a small wait till it arrives.

The cases aren't out yet. They are up for pre order. If you go to Amzer's website you will see that they don't ship until 1/5. That is how it has been since the phone came out cause that is when I checked for it so it is not out yet.

no one has it yet, it isnt supposed to ship until the 6th or 7th last i checked. Unless you meant you wanted a pic of the nexus 1 one, in which case that would have nothing to do with this thread on the nexus s...

Just got mine and im really happy with it. Fits nice and snug too. Their screen protector on the other hand was a total fail. It never adhered to the screen properly and was in the trash within 10 minutes of delivery.

I was gonna wait for a different case, but i already dropped my phone on the pavement and gave the corner a nice little ding I settled for this case..

Amazon seems to be out of stock. However, one of the other sellers had the case in stock so I ordered through them on Amazon. Fast shipping, too - just got a e-mail the order has been shipped.

The AMZER silicone cases look nice. I have disliked the Best Buy case since the day I bought it, but any case (well, almost any case) is better than no case. Anyway, Amazon registered the AMZER ones as in stock today, so I ordered one. Optimistically waiting.

i just ordered one to from ebay, it was cheaper there only 11.99 i think w/ free shipping. on amazon it was 9.99 with 5.00 shipping.

I always buy things in batches on Amazon so I can use Super Saver shipping.

Just ordered a white one from Amazon. I got prime so free 2-day shipping. Gonna get it on Sunday, so I will post my opinion on it then.

I also have Prime (have since it was made available) so I just placed an order for two (one white and one black) and chose 3.99/item one day shipping and should be getting them tomorrow.
Side Note:
I highly recommend Amazon Prime to anyone who uses Amazon frequently. It's only 79.99/year and you can invite up to 4 household members (though I'm sure you can add a friend) to share the membership. The first time I realized how great it was, was when I ordered an industrial strength shredder as a christmas present and because of the bulk the shipping would have been outrageous, so instead I opted for the 3.99/item overnight shipping.

The only difference is that many people paid $8 to $12 for this case from Moko and other dealers. Why is i-blason charging almost $20 for the same case?

I don't know about others but I ordered the i-blason because i the moko cases i looked at didn't look as nice (and the i-blason is available in orange).

I got the same e-mail too. Very frustrating, because I will be traveling out of the country next week for three weeks and really wanted a protective case before departing.. are there any other cases this thin that are currently shipping?

All the thin cases are shipping starting in August, but the thinnest ones I have seen are below to keep you 'covered' until you get a better built case in August.

I paid more because I wanted the color. Hehehe. Black just seemed boring and plain to me, but the prices on the other cheaper alternatives was very enticing.

Nope, didn't get an email yet for the delay. I also ordered the orange one I have my mofi case and is a good bridge gap until this and/or my treegloo case comes in by the middle of next month.
In looking at other cases here is one from Poetic that I found. The other one looked good too but I saw this as well, but this one ships out on tomorrow 7/31/12

I ordered the blue one. I haven't received any other email other than the one I posted in OP. Although blue still shows august 3rd

i just ordered the black one as i didn't really care for any of the other colors. the case looks a lot slimmer than the other iblason case which i like but i wish this one had a vertical stand as well for when i'm reading ebooks. guess i'll try to read them in landscape now.

still waiting on mine. ordered the blue. it shipped but i have no idea when it will get here.

Just got mine in today. It seems to be pretty well made and the smart cover works perfectly. No problems with folding back the cover turning the screen off or anything. And the case is rather small. I like it all in all even if there was a delay. At least the company was up front about the issues and didn't just send out a faulty product.

Speck/case mate/otterbox

Does someone knows when well be able to get cases from these brands? Im really waiting for a quality case to release. ..

I only use Speck, and called them when I got my Note 2 and was told as of now they have no info on when the cases will drop.

Don't trust that site at all. I have order a fee things from them in then past just to have my stuff canceled because they ran out. Not delayed. CANCELED!

That's funny. I sent of a few emails the other day to the major case makers because I'd like to know if they're going to make cases for this tank of a phone. Haha. Yesterday I was downtown and, here in Spain to say hello you give the person a kiss on each cheek, the person who I now hate accidentally knocked my phone down on the floor. I am so glad I bought a cheap case off the net before I even got the phone. It saved my phone. Don't ever go comando with your phone! Haha. This 3 dollar tpu case saved my phone xD. I hope seidio or case mate make their dual layer cases soon. Hehe.

I emailed Trident this morning. After the crappy build quality of the cases for my Atrix and my wife's iPhone, probably won't by using Otterbox anymore.

Hmm, what's great is these companies are telling people different crap. Where, if you go to say AT&T's site they are selling case mate and otterbox cases for the Note 2. I've contacted Otterbox and Case-Mate, both companies told me they'd have official releases mid nov/early dec.

What i dont get is what is a man to do with a phone this size? Carry it in my hand all day! Def not going into my pocket making me walk strange. Would never buy a leather belt case that make it look like a 1990 fanny pack. I need a plastic holster!

Maybe you should have thought that through. I got a snap back case with a flip cover for $10 off ebay. Perfectly fine with this. I have searched and found thousands of cases either on amazon or ebay. There is even a thread named master assesories. Tons of info there

Not True, the told me on twitter that they are working on it, i just checked back with them and they also been replying to everybody that they are working on it but they dont have a date yet

Was told by Trident that Kracken coming mid Nov and Aegis early Dec.
Anyone used a kraken holster clip before? Easy to get phone on and off?

I havent but by mid Nov it will 100s of cases to choose from.

Yeah ATT is what im waiting for. They have that badass Speck case and awesome IMoshi IVisor screen protector. Pricey pricey though.

Not Fake.... Theyre at AT&T stores, Well Been at AT&T stores for a good bit now.

I got my Speck case at an AT&T corporate store last week for $31 after using a 25% off accessories coupon.

2 minor complaints I have about the speck case:
The black plastic shows fine scratches easily. My wife has a white candyshell case on her Galaxy S3 and the scratches are invisible.
The plastic is slick/smooth, so it is slippery in my hand.

Interesting how they have on sale at AT&T for a while and their own site doesnt even update with the case =s... Looks nice, but a while color would be nicer.

Do they have clear ones?

Posted on their fb and they said similar thing, said it will be up on the site some times last 2 weeks but never happened... I hate how these case manufacturers are neglecting android phones and just focus on iphone and ipads... it's just dumb imo, if you support all the phones iphone and android you would have even bigger customer base thus more profits but they rather be 'hip' and stick with iphone as mainstream

what is going on with UAG.

I can't seem to get a case from them. I had a monarch black on order from Amazon since I got the phone. I just canceled it, got tired of waiting. They are even backordered on their own website. I don't get it, I never have trouble getting a case from them.

supply and demand, I ordered my monarch it says ships in 2 weeks but it arrived 3 days. after.

Must be a good seller or a supply problem. I too have never had a problem getting cases from them for my past Notes.
This time I ordered the Plasma before the phone was even released in the US. Shipped the next day & I still received it before the US N8 release date. At the time the Monarch said coming soon & was not available for order yet.

Ordered my crimson monarch directly from uag well over a week ago and still has not shipped.

Here's a tip for you. Look in your area for Verizon retailer stores (not corporate stores) they sell the UAG Monarch and that is where I purchased mine from.

I got my black monarch case from amazon. I made my order september 5th and received it october 7th. It is a really solid case, and really nice

I was trying to figure this out also, I think that Amazon had a supply, UAG could not keep up with the orders and then started filling orders from their website first instead of filling the Amazon orders. I went to their website ordered it direct and got it in 3 days.... Amazon still said out of stock.

I ordered from Amazon which stated to be reach in 10 days
Ended up receiving on the second day

I am waiting for my review sample from them

Amazon or Mobile Fun are the best for speed and availability in my experience.
