Why CMB?
We are just better , in a nutshell we set out to give you the best of CM, with none of the annoying features (see list below), all this wrapped in a custom black theme. We used the KISS principal when deciding what to offer, we based our frameworks on CM alone (not FrankFrameworks like some others out there), enabling us to provide updates and bug fixes as soon as CM does. This doesn't mean we are only relying on them for development, it just eases merging.

You must have your bootloader unlocked, go to Sony's Developer Portal
Already on a Custom rom? Skip to Enter Recovery
Coming from Stock? Unzip rom, boot tablet into bootloader using either cmd line adb reboot bootloader (if rooted), or with the device off and usb cable plugged in, turn the tablet on while holding the vol +, then flash the boot image using fastboot

Enter Recovery by pressing the vol + when the LED turns magenta

Note if you are flashing from Stock, or you did a wipe data (good for your for listening haha)
you will NOT have root out of the box, CM has made it an optional thing, to enable root do the following:
Enable Developer options, on the About Tablet Screen, tap the Build number 8x
Next Go to Developer options
Then under Root Access, choose "Apps and ADB"

Grats! I see a couple guys on your team from teambaked. Travp and the others there are class act. They have a great ROM. Looks like your off to a good start too, and with some good help.

However, I installed titanium backup and it complains about root.
Usually it pops up asking for permission when uing root apps, but not in this rom.
I installed super su, but still no access.

You need to enable it, IC our first tips and tricks post coming!
Enable Developer options
To enable this, on the About Tablet Screen, tap the Build number 8x​
Next Go to Developer options
Then under Root Access, choose "Apps and ADB"
Try TIBkp again

Is there a mirror for Pollux Windy because it's only downloading at about 7KB/s... It's well over half done but still says it has another 3hrs to go...
This is my third attempt to get the file because it has dropped out twice already...

I finally got this installed.
Very very nice ROM... except for 2 things.
Am I missing something? I installed GApps at the same time but there is no email app.
and... is anyone else getting screen flicker when using the keyboard on Chrome???

Since I do not own the 4G version I'm unable to test it, has anyone released any aosp roms for the 5100? if so point me to their device tree and I can add it.

Tried to give it a shot.. but, took way too long to just lock on my Wi-Fi.. so I had to pull out.
I look forward to checking back a few revisions down the line.
UPDATE:
Gave it a 2nd shot but.. even though I enabled App/ADB in Dev. Options I still lost Root upon flashing ROM.. and had to Re-Root the device. Again, maybe a later revision will work better for my particular Note 8.0..

Just loaded this ROM and just like the CM10.2 ROM... this exhibit the light sensor problem. If you go to Setting -> Display & Light -> Brightness then the "setting" icon for Brightness then click on Adjust
In Adjust there is "current ligh sensor value". If you block the light sensor with your finger it will read 21474883647 Lux. which in turns completely brighten the screen to full. It should read 0.

I really like the black theme, it looks awesome! Good work

Sure, there´s no super user, but you can fix the problem flashing this version of super user flashable

No need, go into developer options and enable root access for apps and adb.

Surprising at first because this is not the place I've seen it before, but TOTALLY intuitive after I thought about it. Good call!
I've noticed some phone call problems (random drop-out) and not hanging up. Not sure what I should do. Maybe try to flash a new modem?
Noticed some issues with Play Store (e.g., wouldn't download apps).

Please, mate, keep quiet and calm, everyone has his own chance to make a custom ROM, obviously following the right rules and licenses, even if it sells simple features and slightly away from the ROM on which it is based.
Let he make what he have possibility to do, without suggesting it is a mundane job, and leave this job to the moderators of the forum.
Not to attack you, but I saw in my old forums feuds arise from discussions like this.

I do see your point, however, I have to agree with @Adam77Root.
adb as root is definitely not a security tweak, but a security leak (It still has its advantages, though I, for one, prefer having the ability to always run adb as root rather than having to call su before)
Also, @animus7, please post a link to the kernel source ASAP in order to be GPL compliant

These are only opinions though, no one forces you to use this kind of features or the whole ROM.

Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed! ​

Installation Instruction
-- Make a backup of your ROM
-- Wipe data/factory reset
-- Format /system
-- Flash ROM
-- Flash Gapps
-- Reboot​
Notes/Faqs
-- First boot might take a while around 5 to 10 minutes so don't panic, it will boot fine.
-- This ROM has not been tested with dual sim, so flash it by your own risk.
-- Working and Not working list is as same as CM12 unofficial Build
-- Restore from 4.4.4 rom is not recommanded (Do it at your own risk).
-- Download google camera for photos and video.
-- Use search button for your errors first and than put a query in here.
-- Do not ask ETA, it will not make release any faster than what it is.​

@kahmad989: it isn't a general theme, only the way showing sms-notifications.
@Bodo_1: I found the ROM for international. I suggested to change the link in OP. Risk of bricking.
Tested your ROM and found some nice extra's, but some ¿bloat-apps? with Asian text only, too.

I don't know any nian. Root you can activate in developers options.

Good Rom. Has many features not found in many other roms for i9300. Thanks for this.

There is a SU-instancy, access via settings ..security ..privacyv guard.
If root is lost and can't be activated via dev-options, the SU-app will fail, too (can't load the binary). Imho.

I just flashed SuperSU 2.45 and all works fine for me.

I encountered this behaviour, I described, several times with different ROMs. Sorry for generalising.

Nice work here. Fast and smooth even after I installed all my apps. There is one thing...where is screen density settings? I don't like 320 dpi screen
