Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but i have JS3 firmware with hardcore speedmod installed (latest version 23rd jan)
i was looking at installing some customs themes ,i tryed this earlier this week and when i rebooted the phone just got stuck at the splash screen and vibrated??
i read this is coz i am on stock roms? is this right?
can i deodex my stock rom, if so which is easiest way? or do i have to install a custom rom

You're right, by far the easiest way to get a deodexed SGS is to install a custom rom. Try Doc's ROM kitchen (ht tp: / / romkitchen . org - sorry, can't post links yet) to customise one for yourself if you don't like any of the pre-built roms around.
It should be possible to deodex a stock rom yourself but you're in for a world of hurt if you don't feel comfortable mucking around with android development and the the SDK command line tools. Google baksmali to get started if you really want to pursue this avenue.
Hi everyone, are there some THEMES or MODS for JVQ Stock Oxeded who I can install on my SGS ?
And how I can make my firmware De-oxeded ? bcoz I saw a lot themes for deoxeded roms..
Odexed theming isn't done and thus you're pretty much forced to get a deodexed ROM.
Easiest way is just flashing one of the ROMs in the Android Development section, most of them have a guide on what to do.
If you just want deodexed stock rom check out Ramad's topic.

But I want to have this on stock Rom. I don't want modified Rom. So... if that modified Roms have this statusbar can be ported? Dose sonebody can port these quckpannels for stock?

Then what you wish for is close to impossible.. it cant be done by just apk or update installation. the closest you can have is More ROM by godell which has this quickpanel. It also has a stock ui but with OC, and whole lot of tweaks.. So check it out in the dev section..

I want to make my modified Rom and I want to add quickpannel... Can you port for me this? Or maybe I can use emanoN to build my Rom? But... I want to build him from the stock rom. Can somebody help me?

Stock roms are odexed so they cant be modified fully..if u want a fully customized rom with stock look ..emanon is suggested. It also has many custom themes whch r superb to use..give it a try i m sure u'll like it..
quick panel belongs to galaxy mini accesories? well if thats the case then i want to buy a quick panel for my mini. price plz.

Use emanon as base, as it is already cooked wit many features, quickpanel included...use android kitchen for makin new or modified roms..

hi guys,i just want to ask if can anyone make some mods to be installed trough cwm for the official rooted lsf rom.it s a great rom and i think is the best made so far,but i just want some mods in it like airview,ink color,call recording,but i don t want a custom rom because none of them work as great as this lsf official rom.please help me.thanks

i was wondering what if we tried to modify a great custom stock ROM just like the IZS V2 to be more like AOSP ROM than LG ROM
i was able to replace some apps with AOSP ones ( from CM9 ) but i failed to replace systemUI and settings and framework-res .... and i got a bootloop so i want to ask you guys and developers can you help me making an IZS AOSP ROM so it could be even faster than normal IZS or can you tell me what should i do to replace stock framework with CM9 one and not getting a bootloop and same thing for settings and systemUI and other apps that i cant normaly replace it :highfive:
