Very soft bluetooth sound - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The audio level that outputs to my bluetooth devices from z1 is extremely soft, is there anyway to raise that volume?

Hm, Bluetooth Volume is fine for me, using it with both a Sony SRS BTX500 and the BM10 Bluetooth receiver.
Try enabling Dynamic-Normalization in the Sound Effects menu!

BT headset - tiny sound

Does anyone else thinks that BT headset sound is a bit tiny? There is no low frequencies present that makes sound a bit harsh. I am comparing it with HTC Excalibur and Trinity. Is there a way to adjust this parameter via registry?
Yeah i thought this....Ive been using my bluetooth stereo headset and ive also tried the wired headset.
Im sure this was the same on the tinity though wasnt it when it was first released.
Stereo headset works fine for me with plenty of Bass. It's a regular BT headset that I am talking about. Both Jabra JX 10 and Nokia BH 900.
i have jx10 and everything was great with regular phone conversations, even the voice button works.
i have not try the stereo bt headsets so no comment on the music side.

when you say stereo headset...do you mean the bundled mini USB headset included with the Kaiser?
Thanks
no i mean stereo Bluetooth headsets. my jabra jx10 is only mono (one side), some BT has 2 sides (L&R) stereo for musics.
Sorry yeah i misread the first post .
I actually thought though with the standard bundled USB headset the sound was a little tinny.
with my stereo DS970 (se) headset the sound is fine.....I was talking about the standard USB headset.
sorry guys misread the first post.
anyone have registry keys that can be tweaked to make BT mono sounds better?
Guys, this is the first HTC device with this kind of problem! It really drives me crazy. Am I only one who annoyed by this?
I'm having the same problem with tiny BT sound over A2DP. I'm using an i.Tech S.38 which works perfectly apart from the VERY low volume (volume sliders in actual programs and volume control on S.38 are set to full.). When I pair the S.38 with my laptop the volume is much higher.

How do i connect my phone to receiver?

Hey everybody, my friend recently gave me his old yamaha receiver. the model is RX-V2095. I got the speakers to work but it only works when the effect [on] mode on the receiver is turned on. Problem is it sounds extremely bad and i would like to adjust my own bass and treble settings. im using a rca female cable and connecting a 3.5mm jack from my phone to the end of the rca cables which are connected to my receiver.

you should try to turn off Beats audio and use a custom EQ instead and see if it sound better. Everytime I plug my phone to my Pioneer receiver, it sound extremely bad when beats audio is enabled (way to much bass and treble = sound distortion) Fortunately, I have a good built-in 10-bands EQ in my receiver so I don't really need and custom EQ in my phone. But your receiver doesnt seem to have a descent EQ (only 2 bands).

Audio quality over Bluetooth

Does anyone here using Bluetooth Earphones with Nokia 7 Plus? If yes, how is the sound quality? How good are base and treble?
I'm using the Jabra Move Wireless and the audio quality is really good. No need for eq, at least with these headphones. If you haven't already got Bluetooth headphones I recommend you take a look at the Jabra Move Wireless. They're good for the value and they work well with the 7 plus.

Well Bluetooth isn't flawless. I've had to reset my headphones once or twice but it took me 10 sec to get it back up and running. Try to reset your speakers before pairing. Remember you have to press "pair new device" in the Bluetooth menu on the 7 plus.

Bluetooth Audio Crackling

Hey guys, I've recently bought an Honor Play, really happy with the device but just got a pair of bluetooth headphones, Mixcder E7
the bluetooth audio quality is really bad and it crackles, I've tried changing the codec from the developer settings but it appears these headphones only support SBC
I doubt the codec is the reason why the audio is crackling though, does anybody have any suggestion?
(it sounds perfectly fine using the headphone jack)
Thanks in advance

I would try changing any settings you can on the headphones and see what happens. For example, my headphones offer a choice of Bluetooth standards; the ability to favour sound quality over stability etc. Additionally, see if this happens away from sources of 2.4ghz noise such as microwaves. Don't surf at the same time, or try and use 5ghz WiFi.

Try to unpair and pairing again or try to reset network settings.
Go to Settings > System > Reset
Click on Reset Network settings
Confirm Reset Settings
